This goes for a lot of those girls from Harem-Comedy series (yes that is usualy the name, of those series where there is a lot of humor revolving one male and several females. The opposite (like Fruits Basket or High School Host Club) are Reverse-Harem-Comedies).

Of course, Keitaro should get a lot of them anyway. He is just too pittyfull NOT to be given a Harem.

Actualy that comment was meant more to be in Cannon. The twins are dead and one never even talked to Sousuke, the other one said one of two lines, more for Gauln/Gauron...Mao I can work with...the concerned superior looking out for her younger and oh so precious junior...(and having to teach him SexEd after some misunderstandings with Chidori or Tessa...I can see it happening and she is just way too cool a character)

Ren is head over heels for her "School Council President", Kyoko I didn't like a lot, but that is still plausible, and Mizuki, well as boy crazy as she is, you could work it easily. Especialy with the kiss Sousuke gave her. She could be in love with him, just doesn't dare to say it since he is so close to Chidori who, you have to remember her side, already stole one boyfriend from her...she's got reason to be scared.

But yeah, I do like the twins, and wouldn't mind seeing them end up with Sousuke.

So if anyone feels tempted to write it, feel free to do so. And if you need a beta for it, meh, I've got time to spare.

ôMove it! Move it!ö A dozen or so special ops soldiers thundered up the steps towards the parliament buildingÆs rooftop, assault rifles at the ready. ôWeÆve confirmed it, pattern orange! The MAGI has confirmed the target to be on the rooftop!ö

With a loud bang the door to the rooftops was kicked open to let through the first wave of soldiers, all of whom immediately leveled their sights on the target. ôSir, weÆve located the threat!ö One of them reported. ôShe has a turtle! We repeat, she has a turtle! Target had been designated as armed and dangerous!ö

ôThis is Central Dogma. You have permission to use lethal force. This is a threat to national security. The fate of our entire nation lies on this one.ö The Minister of Defense said as he steepled his fingers in front of his face at the top level of the war room, his eyes narrowing on the holographic screen before him.

ôFreeze! Put the turtle down on the ground and release the hostage!ö The commander shouted at the target who was standing at the edge of the roof with the hostage clamped firmly in choke-grip with a turtle shoved in his face. Her hair whipped in the wind as a pair of military gunships rose behind her, training their automatic canons on her back.

ôWhat?!ö The target shouted back as many laser-pointer pinpricks began dotting her head. ôI canÆt hear you! There are too many helicopters in the air!ö

ôThe target refuses to negotiate. She is ignoring our demands.ö The commander reported back. ôPermission to open fire, sir!ö

ôAll right, open fireö The minister for defense commanded.

KeitaroÆs consciousness chose that exact moment to drift back to reality, as if treacherously not wanting its owner to miss the pain and bloodshed that was about to follow. A faint, girly æeeeepÆ escaped his lips as he noticed the firing squad he was facing.

ôThe hostage is in the way, sir!ö One of the soldiers pointed out.

ôDonÆt worry, Urashima Haruka has reassured me that the boy is immortal!ö The Minister for Defense said.

ôHeÆs immortal! Just fire through him!ö The commander shouted, as if the problem was completely solved.

ôWhaàWHAT?! No way IÆd survive that!ö Keitaro screamed, before he was silenced as the choke grip on his neck tightened. ôN-Naruà.ö

ôSTOP IT!ö A voice boomed.

ôMinister of Education?ö The commander turned around in surprise.

ôThat girl has been designated a Grade S Living National Treasure!ö The Minister screamed hoarsely, panting against the door frame of the roof access.

ôYES, you stupid ignorant poor excuse for a human! Starting today! That girl is one!ö The Minister shouted. ôSo lower your weapons! ItÆs high treason to even THINK of harming her!ö

ôButàsheÆs about to killà.ö The commander tried to point out the lethal-looking turtle in the poor hostageÆs face. ôThat looks like a very, very dangerous turtleàö

ôMyuuu!ö The turtle retorted indignantly, causing the entire platoon of soldiers to flinch and raise their rifles defensively.

ôYes, I know! But donÆt worry, we have a specialist to deal with that!ö The Minister announced.

The gunships suddenly parted to make way for a Chinook which rose up behind Naru. She looked around, shielding her eyes against the draft, only to come face to face with aà.bunny girl? Mounted atop a yellow Vespa scooter being airlifted by a Chinook, shouldering an electric guitar?

ôUrashima Keitaro! I, Suzumiya Haruhi, have come to become your bride!ö The mad-looking girl proclaimed, as she revved up the vespa, did a front-wheely start, before flying into the air towards the parliament building, electric-guitar and bunny ears akimbo.

ôàwhaà?!ö Snot rolled down from the commanderÆs nose as his expression either one of shock or perhaps one of painful gut movements coupled with constipation.

CRASHà!

The electric guitar exploded as it made contact with NaruÆs forehead, sending her flying limply across the rooftop towards the crowd of gathered soldiers. She bowled through their ranks, sending them all flying to the sound of a ten pin strike.

ôWh-Who are you?!ö Keitaro stammered as he was caught in mid-freefall by Haruhi as her vespa sailed towards the rooftop.

ôàthe future princess of a magical nationàö She grinned as the vespa screeched to a halt on the concrete. The soldiers and newly appointed SPs immediately crowded around them before whisking Keitaro away with surgical military efficiency.

ôUhhhà.ö Naru queasily opened her eyes, only to see a gigantic mob of soldiers leap towards her.

ôKAMIKAZE DOG PILE!ö They screamed.

ôThreat neutralized.ö The commander sighed with satisfaction as said threat was crushed under a ton of military-grade brawn.

ôDr. Akagi, Ms. Urashima, we leave this in your hands.ö The Minister of Education said, turning to leave. ôAfter all, re-Education is your field.ö

ôHmmphàcalling a woman out for this sort of jobàö Ritsuko Akagi sighed as she stepped up towards the platoon of soldiers who were amidst wrestling the human-female-equivalent of a rampaging rhinoceros into a straight jacket. ôWhen will that man ever learn?ö She shook her head as she looked over what she had to work with. ôI never imagined IÆd be working with you againà.ö Her eyes narrowed as Urashima Haruka stepped up beside her.

ôNeither did I, Akagi. But this is an issue of national security.ö Haruka said as she took another long drag on her cancer stick. ôThe Human Rights activists have banned us working together outright, after all.ö

ôItÆs just been repealed. Apparently those so-called activists realize that human rights donÆt exactly apply in the face of a positron-beam-bread-toaster/slicer.ö Ritsuko pointed out. ôSo this is the sort of material we have to work with?ö She asked as the soldiers hefted a restrained, berserk Naru onto her feetà.at which she proceeded to apply a nut-cracker to one of the soldiers, causing him to fall to his knees while emitting a high-pitched note of pain.

ôHave you started to miss Asuka already?ö Haruka asked as the soldiers, desperately overpowered, finally resorted to the stun gun. ôWell, nothing for it. She is to be in a mindset prepared to serve in a harem by the time we finish with her.ö

ôà.Give me one of thoseà.ö Ritsuko sighed, shaking her head as she raised a hand for a cigarette.

ôI thought you quit.ö

ôYeah? And I can see why you didnÆt.ö

Haruka could only chuckle.

I agree, it does seem a bit different from the main body. Mostly because it is missing the stuff in-between where we went from a conference to Naru abducting Keitaro with Tama-chan.
