Yeah, because before Hawk shut down registrations, we were well-known for the massive influx of clever, witty, talkative newfags who could debate like geniuses, laugh like madmen, and write like fiends.
Don't get me wrong. I think it's a dumbass move on Hawk's part, and I wish he would undo it. That being said, I think you're standing too close to some kind of exhaust port of some sort if you think it's going to 'kill' the forum. Let's be honest here. It's been the same thirty or so of us the whole time. We did get a steady trickle of new members, but out of that, we would only once in a blue moon get somebody who was both not a few-post wonder and also a decent contributor to the forum.
