Just finished Last Mablecorn and Roadside attraction.
Mable was understandable in her going crazy over the whole "pure good" thing. Its her issue like how the Journal (and Maybe Wendy) is Dipper's problem. Also like the message of not cling to some ideal of something and just being cool that you do you.
Roadside attraction. I don't fault Dipper that much for his problem there. Probably shoulda not listened to Stan since well its Stan but the guy is kinda the only other example of Adult Male Dipper can cling to for advice. I was a bit annoyed at Mable and Grenda though. It was like: Mable you are like a couple of feet away and I'm pretty sure you can hear everything Stan is telling Dipper. Shouldn't you say something about that before trying to set your friend up for heartbreak.
But I guess its moot since Candy got over it. I think.
