The fic i'm looking for is set some years after the war.

The things i can remember about it are;
Harry disappears during a night out, while Hermione is out of the country getting her parents.
Some years later, Hermione takes a child to a zoo (Teddy i think).
Said child falls into a big cat enclosure (of panthers i believe).
A green-eyed cat looks at Hermione and is shocked back into knowing he is Harry. Hermione also realizes this cat is Harry.
It turns out Harry spontaneously completed the animagus process while drunk. This let the animal instincts completely take over Harry. Harry was found the following day (in animal form) in the back of a car.
Hermione is living with two other witches. Tonks (SHE LIVES!), and Luna (i believe).
Harry makes a remark about how they are the last virgins of thier generation. Hermione reply's she isn't. She lost hers when she was 13/14(?), "Just to get is done".
Harry ends up (in a relationship with?) fathering the children of all three witches (except Teddy).

That sounded interesting until I got to the last two points, then it sounded shitty.

I would be helpful but I doubt I ever encountered the story or read past the first chapter if I have.

So what I am looking for is any number of good fanfics in which Harry goes back in time but is diplaced into another body be it the girl-who-lived, a random wizard, a muggle, a dragon, ect.

There's another dragon!harry story as well. Something about basilisk venom combined with phoenix tears makes a chimera!potion, and the combination was accidently healed into a bubble of bone in his arm. Fourth year, when he takes a dragon spike to the arm, it hits the potion and turns Harry into a human/dragon chimera.

So I randomly went on a harry potter kick. I still don't actually know why.

As a result, I basically read every interesting-looking story in the fem!Harry and the H/Hr communities in the past two months, since I always felt H/Hr felt natural and I find genderswaps interesting reads. Harry Potter doesn't seem to have a good community for just 'here thar be good stories.' (I don't like the DLP community, because 90% of it is either grimderp or PerfectLionheart-level shit that people slobber over.)

So now, I ask your recommendations for interesting stories that aren't necessarily either of the above.

As for pairings, I odn't really care if it has them or not, though I do ave a certain dislike of Ginny.

tl;dr: Point me to your favorites lists, I hunger for words.

Still looking for stories, though as it turns out I don't have a particular dislike for Ginny, just a dislike for poor characterization... and apparently a rabid hatred of ron/hermione.

I've only read one Harry Potter as a dragon fic, going through the Animagus route in a sixth year AU. I think it was called Harry Potter and the Crystal of the Founders. When I read it, I will admit, I liked it. I liked it a lot. Looking back now, I can see that it was basically gearing Harry into a mary sue of sorts, but it didn't really feel that way when I read it, as it was pretty well written. However, it was removed from Fanfiction.net a while back, 'round the time the sixth book was released. I dunno if it's anywhere else on the 'net; I came across one with the same title that most certainly was NOT the same story I had read.

Now, in that story, vernon, petunia and dudley were much nicer than in canon, but I would be interested in any good stories where Dudley ends up magical- especially those where Petunia and Vernon suddenly get smacked in the face that beloved duddykins is a freak too.

Harry makes an island moves hog warts castle to it fight 4 dragons possessed by the founders.

Too bad Bobmin's rider series is boring and slow and all the actual plot building chapters are sandwiched in between useless filler, in that you could literally skip chapters and not miss anything of value, and stupid boring "romance".
