It happens more often in Hermione centric fics than you would think. People tend to put her up on a pedestal for some weird reason even though all the main characters are intentionally made flawed by Rowling.

He either turns into Ron or the non-gay but functionally "safe gay friend" that people have to make up for Ron being Ron.

Things start out in fifth year or somewhere close and has an abused Harry commit suicide in front of the students of hogwarts via a Deus ex Machina in his scar just before he's supposed to duel Hermione at Dumbledore's request. Hermione panics and tries to use a time turner, but it doesn't work and she ends up watching it happen again in front of her past self. They use their TT's to try again, but go too far back and restart their lives as twins. I think a third one pops up at one point, too, but I'm not sure.

It's a Perfect Lionheart Fic that isn't under the Perfect Lionheart Penname. He used whatever his other account is, the one that he only admitted in the last year or two was actually him. Also on that account was his take on the Naruto Reincarnation SI thing that's sweeping the fandom lately. It featured a Konoha where Madara was the First Hokage. In my opinion that one exemplified his style, good ideas and concepts with horrifying execution.

Pretty sure skysaber was around first since I remember his stuff from the early 2000s in the Ranma section.

Not that it matters because skysaber's stuff sucks too. Although, now that I think about it, it does make sense since the writing is pretty similar.

That's it...Huh, wouldn't have guessed they were the same. I liked this one and the Azalea Potter story, and they seemed better executed than his PL stories (Although not perfect).

And glad to see I'm not the only one who thought that of him. Good ideas, but too many usually ended up crammed into a single story (*cough-Partially-Kissed-cough*)

It was talked about on the old forum and on some of the older HP yahoo groups. Back in the old days when he used this name there were lots of other authors betaing and acting as sounding boards for his ideas. Metroanime was one. When they got out of fanfiction or dropped off the net he seemed to go off on his on. I can also remember a couple of blow ups with people critiquing his works.

He was actually on the original Hawk board years ago. He got into somewhat of a fight with a couple of members and left.

Just remembered a fic I read couple of years ago that I can't find again not to sure if it was good or bad.
Major points I remember.
Harry made his own island, Luna was head of R&D, stole hogwarts, fought the four founders as they possessed 4 dragons, acquired slytherins staff, got a couple of warships.
Minor points I'm unsure of.
He had a mass accelerator cannon on one of the warships, built a Zeus satellite cannon, had laser rifles that run on magic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm fairly certain that I remember that fic. I think it was in the very early days of the Dumbledore=Bad movement. That said, I'm also fairly certain it got axed. I haven't seen it in ages and I can't see it anywhere on my favorites list. Then again, I've gone though like three accounts before actually landing on my current, permanent account, so it might be buried in the accounts I don't remember.

And Chrono, it was pretty well liked at the time if I remember correctly. Its just most likely aged REAAAAAALLLLLLLLYYYYYY badly.

And BAM, somehow a guardian comes, and it seems like it's a dude bamf Harry from another dimension or something. So ... he's like following her everywhere, including potion class where he nearly murdered Snape or something along those lines.

Anyone has any idea what I'm looking for ?

edit: I remember feeling a lot of Hellsing vibes with the relationship between femHarry and bamfHarry, lots of 'yes master' and 'your word is my command', like when she tells him to NOT murder snape or anyone else unless self defense or something like that.

Looking for a few things this time.

The first fic I don't remember much about the overall plot, only a few scenes, really - there's a bit where Harry (staying at the Leaky Cauldron at Christmastime) bumps into Luna outside in the snow, he finds out that her dad, Xeno, is off in some other country over the holidays, stuck because of bad Floo connection or something, and so he decides to go with her to her home and spend Christmas with her instead of heading over to the Burrow to spend time with Ginny (something which he wasn't particularly keen on doing in the first place). A little later on, Hermione shows up and she's goes off on Harry for not being with Ginny on Christmas, like he's cheating on her or something. If I'm not mixing up my fics, this might also be the one where Harry sees some ghost in her house which does a ghost-of-xmas-past thing and shows him some bits and pieces of Luna in her younger years, including her hugging a tree and when her mother died.

The other fic I'm looking for is where Umbridge stops the political bullshit and starts teaching properly after nearly getting possessed by Voldemort's ring (and halting said possession by lopping off her hand).

And lastly, I'm just wondering if there are any fics where Umbridge (or Snape, really) finally get their wish and Harry gets expelled from Hogwarts? I'm a little shocked, because I can't say I've ever run into one before, but it's sort of a plot that should have happened by now, right?
