"How do I revive Aeris?"

Well, recently on GameFAQs some n00bs popped up with THAT question. The result was a topic full of some of the most outrageous 'revival tricks' ever, including mine. So, for fun, I decided to make a topic like that here too.

Basically, make up an alleged 'revival trick' for Aeris. The more ludicrous it is, the better.

Mine was the following:

----

In order to revive Aeris, you need to find the super secret Umbrella lab in Midgar and get a sample of T-Virus. To find it, you need to defeat Diamond WEAPON with your starting weapons, no Materia equipped and in under one minute, without using Limit Breaks.

If you do all this correctly, when you visit Midgar again, you will find a chest with an Umbrella ID card in the stairwell leading up Shinra Corp's building. Take it, then go to the elevator and you'll be able to go to the 99th basement floor. Here, defeat the Tyrant that broke free of the vat and you'll get the T-Virus sample.

Now return to the Ancient City and you can dump the virus in the water of the lake Aeris was buried into. She'll rise from the dead and... well... eat you. Then you get the special ending where the world is overrun by zombies.

----

 :snigger:  :snigger:

I'll give a crack at it.

First you need to S-rank all the minigames in the Golden Saucer, then head back to the where Aeris was left in the lake. Leave a party member slot open have Cloud equipped with his first sword, Bahamut, and Pheonix. Your off member should have a Life Materia. Get into a battle at the edge of the lake you should enter a battle map where the lake is selectable by your curser, this battle is random so you might have to try a few times.

Once in battle ignore the large white dragon called Exiled Dragon beating on you and have your off member cast Life2 on the Lake followed by someone throwing a phoenix down into it and then Cloud summoning Pheonix. You must do that in that exact order.

YouÆll be treated to Aeris rising up out of the lake in a nimbus of light.

Now the dragon youÆve been ignoring is pissed. Choose to summon Bahamut on the screen that comes up. Cloud will summon him and you will fight together to kill the Dragon, Panzer Dragon style. Defeat the Dragon and you will be treated to another FMV of Aeris and the party reuniting, if your playing the American version Yuffie and Vincent arenÆt in this one either.

So, how was that?

First you must have Naruto and Ichigo in your party, then you must travel to the planet mars and obtain "Revival Materia" however for it to work you must have 9,000,000,000 MP.

Then you must achieve the rank of "Espada" in the "Arrancar Battle Arena" mini game.

Before you use "Revival Materia" you must have the "Lunar Blade" equipped to Tifa, all characters(including Naruto, Ichigo and Shiro) at level 9999, Katon, Suiton, Doton, Fuuton, Raiton, Mokuton and Hyouton materia must be equipped to Cloud and then have Naruto use "Rasengan" and Ichigo use "Bankai", enter the submarine and search for the monster named "Great Emerald Dragon" and defeat it in under 10 seconds, if you've done all this correctly you can return to Aeris' grave and use the "Revival Materia".

Aeris will swim up out of the water and join your party again.

^THAT absurd enough? XD^

"Get a Gameshark. No, there's not one in the game."
What nonsense. There so is a way in the game. I'll reveal how it's done.

First off, you have to beat the game at least 13.5 different times. To guarantee the revival, each time must be done with a different party. The game doesn't actually have a feature to save after defeating Sephiroth to record this, but don't let that bother you. For the .5 time, you have to lose when Sephiroth and Cloud fight one on one. Do it, it's fun.

Afterwards, get a Silver Chocobo. Don't know how? It's simple. Just buy a ton of greens and have different Chocobos 'get it the fuck on' like cheetahs in heat.

Have a Black Chocobo and a regular Chocobo mate.
Have a Green Chocobo and a Gold Chocobo mate.
Have a Gold Chocobo and a Black Chocobo mate.
Have a Black Chocobo, Green Chocobo and a Blue Chocobo threeway.
Give the Gold Chocobo its own harem for one night.

Rinse and repeat around 200-680 times and bingo! Your Silver Chocobo is born. With this big guy, you can not only walk anywhere, but you can go under water and for the sake of reviving Aeris, under the area with the Midgar Zwarm resides which is our next destination.

After you go under, be prepared for some tough fights since you'll be running into even more WEAPONS. Back to back, you'll be fighting the following:

Onyx WEAPON
Zircon WEAPON
Gold WEAPON
Copper WEAPON
Silver WEAPON
Fuckin' Shit, We Ran Out of Rocks WEAPON

After that, in a completely unexplainable turn of events, you'll fight Kadaj and those other two retarded villains from Advent Children.

Once that's over with, you'll get the FMV you've been waiting for, only Aeris runs past Cloud's open arms and gives Tifa one big, sloppy, juicy kiss that gets eagerly returned, suggesting they were really lesbians the entire time.

Not only is Aeris back in the team, but you'll also get one more reward. Since three variations of the same dragon isn't enough you'll get the 'Bahamut 1/2' Summon Materia, where if you fight anywhere near water, the dragon will become female.

EDIT: Typos.

First, and most importantly, you must buy a flower from Aeris when she's standing around in Midgar at the beginning of the game. Fail to do this, and the trick won't work.
Also, you must keep the flower in your inventory. No selling it; she'll be insulted, and you wouldn't want to hurt a girl's feelings, would you?

Second, you must do this before going to Wutai. Otherwise, Yuffie will steal it along with your materia, and will think it was for her. Retard. After this, she sneaks up and hogties Cloud, kidnapping him away. A brief (but surprisingly graphic) cinematic scene later, you get the "Cloud, Raped To Death = BAD END" Game Over screen.

Third, when the scene at Mideel happens and Cloud falls into the Lifestream, you must have him equipped with the Buster Sword. If you raised Aeris' affection level with Cloud to the maximum (and snubbed Tifa in the process, you asshole) before Sephiroth kebabs her, this scene will be possible. Later, when you take Tifa to the ruins of Mideel to help Cloud sort out his emo little head, you'll find a variation on the normal version of what happens.

SPOILER:
While Tifa is helping Cloud sort out his identity, Aeris is floating about in the Lifestream, confused as to which pointy-haired male she loves more - Cloud, or Zack. In the end, she can't decide, so she fuses them together, reducing Cloud's level by half, but also removing the Emo Curse and granting him Zack's Pimpin' Skillz.

At this point, save your game. The next part is tricky.

First, you must achieve a perfect score on every minigame in the Gold Saucer.
Second, you must complete the Fort Condor Battle (both times) without losing a single unit.
Third, you must have a complete set of Master materia. It's recommended that you have more than one set, as this process will consume one set.
Fourth, you must have Tifa and Yuffie in your active party, with their ultimate weapons equipped and their final Limit Breaks learned.
Fifth, you must have the Underwater materia, and you must have beaten all of the WEAPONs.

Now, go back to where Aeris died. You'll notice a strange black spot on the water that doesn't look like part of the background. Go over to the water's edge, dive in, and swim down to the black spot. Without the Underwater materia, you wouldn't have enough air to swim down that far.

When you reach the black spot, you'll be drawn into a boss battle with Thanatos, the spirit of Death. He's a tricky one, as he has over 50 million HP - 5000 of which he regenerates every second - and his Grim Scythe attack (which he uses every third turn) will kill one party member instantly. He's invulnerable to the old Phoenix Down/Life spell trick, since he's Death, not an Undead. You'll need every Phoenix Down you can hold, believe me.

After he is defeated, he grudgingly congratulates you on your victory. He then offers you a choice: Immortality, or the resurrection of a single dead person. Choose the latter; asking for immortality causes him to turn you to stone, saying that you'll live forever at the bottom of this forgotten body of water. BAD END.

When he asks you who to resurrect, you'll get three options:
1. Aeris
2. Zack
3. Lucrecia

Choose 1. 2 is impossible (though Cloud doesn't know it), so Thanatos will laugh at you and say "He lives already, fool!", then disappear. 3 won't work either. If you had Vincent in your active party by mistake, he would gun down your other two party members and beg for Lucrecia's resurrection. BAD END.

After choosing 1, Thanatos says that he requires "Three gems of supreme power, and one item that exemplifies her." The three gems of power refers to the Master materia, so give him those. As for the other item, remember the flower? Give it to him.

Aeris' body then rises from the depths, glows freaky rainbow colors, and opens her eyes. Unfortunately, she does NOT have the Underwater materia, so you have 30 seconds to swim to the surface with her in tow. Cue a minigame.

Aeris, having no air to help her float and being weak from the resurrection, can't hold on to Cloud very well. So, you have to watch not only the timer, but also the Grip Meter (looks like two hands clasping each other; the further they part, the weaker the hold) as you swim to the top. Swimming faster weakens your Grip, but swimming slowly takes much longer. If the hands on the Grip Meter seperate fully, AERIS DIES.

Once you make it to the surface, you have a repeat of the CPR minigame. Aeris must then be taken to Cosmo Canyon to recuperate. The game starts a timer; you must stay near the fire in Cosmo Canyon for one week, in REAL TIME. You get one chance at this, and the Save function is disabled for the duration.

Once she's fully recovered, she immediately demands to know who you love most - her, Tifa, or Yuffie... with all three women present to hear his reply. Any of those three is the WRONG ANSWER - the other two will kill you for leading them on.

Instead, move the cursor down below Yuffie's name for a HIDDEN FOURTH OPTION. The option is, apparently, "Be Indecisive". The three girls quickly engage in a wanton sex contest to win Cloud's affections. If you haven't raised Tifa and Yuffie's affection levels with Cloud to the maximum by now, Aeris wins by default, but if you have, Cloud uses Zack's Pimpin' Skillz and makes them all his ladies.

Unfortunately, without Aeris dead and in the Lifestream to guide Holy, Meteor destroys the planet. Ain't that a bitch?

How to save Aeris?
When you first meet her bitch-slap her ass and claim Holy for yourself, then, when you get to the Temple of the Ancients and pick up Meteor you and Aeris will be Trans-Dimensionally deposited in a land the inhabitants call Ivalice. While there you have the chance to set straight the values of a young man named Vaan, if the situation is handled correctly, when Vaan obtains the Dawn Shard he'll go berserk, smack down the entire Empire Army, and be revealed as the only one capable of marrying Ashe and restoring the name of the Dynast-King to it's former glory. Now, is your final choice is this: A. letting Panelo live and having everything shot to hell because he realizes he loves her, or B. killing her in her sleep, dropping her carcass in the Desert, and telling Vaan she fell for Balthesaar and eloped. which would you choose?

I vote for using Meteor on Rabanastre. Solves all problems

Bah.. ALL of you are wrong!

First, you must have the following, Underwater Materia, Final Limit Breaks for EVERYONE, EVERYONE's ultimate weapon, a Gold Chocobo, and two sets of Master Materia.

Got all of that? Then you either have no life or are a shameless cheater. Accept these facts and bow your head in silence, for the loss of any chance at a social life.

Done? Good. Now, go from Aeris' resting place back to Midgar on the back of your Golden Chocobo in less than five minutes. The game has a hidden timer, so you absolutely MUST do this in time! If you take longer, you have to start all over again. The good news is that for every minute you beat the clock by, you unlock a super weapon for one character. You can do this multiple times, but you only get the weapon after you revive Aeris. For you completionisdts out there, do it once for each character, than once more for Aeris... and one last time fvor the secret character you unlock when this is over.

That's right, a secret character.

Now, enter Midgar and make your way to the Church where you first met Aeris. If you made it under the clock, you should see a swirling blue portal in the middle of the flower field. Make sure you saved your game ahead of time, because there is no turning back once you step through.

Got it? Good. Now then, enter the portal, and you'll find yourself in a small area with a single lamppost, under which an old man is sleeping. He is called Gaspar, and he already knows why you are there! He says in order to gain an item to revive a lost one, you must go to the Palace of the Sun and defeat the guardian there. Only by doing so can you attain a Sun Stone, which has enough mgical energy to power an ancient device capable of transporting people into the Life Stream itself. For it is only there that you can find Aeris and return her back home.

But before all of that, you must defeat the Guardian in the back, for only he will allow you to access the portals you need to get out of this place. An FMV will then occur, wheer Cloud and the party carefully enter the back room, only to facefault as the feared Guardian is some pink looking stupid monster thing.

Don't let its looks fool you though! THis creature named Spekkio is very strong, and can only be harmed by magic!Upon defeating it, in which I highly suggest going all out with summons and massive amounts of your strongest spells, he will give you a 'Time Key', which allows you to enter those portals you saw outside. Apparantly, each one leads to a different time period. Since this is a completely different world, you cannot go back in time to save Aeris. Sorry.

From here on, you are told to go to 1000 AD and looks for a woman named Lucca. Not only does she have a time machine, but it flies AND she can take you right to the Sun Palace! Easy, right?

Problem... she's not home! Some problems have cropped up at the castle involving a couple of her friends. So, you must go through a forest, past some annoyingly weak monsters, and make your way to the castle. See that girl with glasses? That's Lucca... and apparantly she's in the middle of solving some form of marital problems between her best friend and his wife... who happen to be the next King and Queen of the kingdom your in. Somehow, the Princess had lost a very important item of sentimental value to the Prince, and until its found he won't speak to her. Lucca is on the scene, but she's only one person and the castle is huge! But hey! You want something, she wants something... all you need to do is find 'Crono's Sword' and Lucca will be grateful enough to fly you to your destination!

The sword is apparantly in the basement, past a contingent of monsters and traps. Apparantly, some punk blonde haired girl saw the gay looking rainbow katana and thought it'd be fun to play with. Sure, it looks sharp and deadly.. but RAINBOWS appear with every swing! What little girl wouldn't wanna play magical girl with it!? So, you give the kid a spanking, take the sword, give the kid to Barrett so he can cry at how much like his little Marlene she is, and make your way out... unfortunately, the little girl has a guardian in the form of a singing Robot called Gato. No, I don't know what Silver Points are, or why you get 15 of them for beating him, but you have to fight anyway. Careful, he's strong, and watch out for the boxing glove that pops out of his stomach!

After turning the thing into so much scrap, you get Gato's Head and Gato's Mike as key items. Return to Lucca and give her the kid, the sword, and the key items... as well as a million gil to not only appease her for man-handling her kid, but also for destroying her robot. Still, the Prince gets his sword back and forgives Marle with a smile, nod and tongue action... apparantly he doesn't talk.. at all.. but was withholding nookie from the Princess. Go figure.

Tell Lucca what you want, and she'll say that she already HAS the Sunstone. Well.. what's left of it at least. Still, there might be another one, so she agrees to take you to the Sun Palace. At this point, make sure your party can absorb fire damage, cause this next boss is a very strong elemental.

At the Sun Palace, enter and watch the FMV where a giant eye appears and becoems surrounded by flames. Here's where things get bad, because you can't target the eye.. you have to hit one of the flames, which will damage teh eye. Problem? After every successful hit, the flames shuffle. Magic HEALS the eye, so mass damage spells and summons are a nono. Limit Breaks are ok though, as long as it isn't fire-based damage.

So, after finally killing the damn thing, the eye actually turns to stone and reveals itself to be a Moon Stone. Lucca will geeks out about theories, before telling you that a Moon Stone is an unpowered Sun Stone. You have to let it absorb sunlight for over many many years.... but you don't have that kinda time!

Oh yeah.. time machine.. DUH! So, Lucca flies you over to a spot in the prehistoric ages (hey look, dinosaurs!) and sets it in some sunny spot that, from what she says, will last well into the far future. Now, its just a hop, skip and time jump away from picking up in said future, right?

Problem... when you arrive in a metropolitan future and land at the sunny spot, stone's gone. So, now you have to find out when in time is Carmen Sandiego... er... i mean.. when in time someone ganked your rock.

Go to the Middle Ages (for a time machine, it seems to only have several time periods keyed in... not really good for smaller jumps, is it?) and find that its still there! Go to the present time and, gasp! It's gone! So, you have to go find it...

Apparantly, according to a village nearby, some Mystic found it and took it back to his village. Mystics are intelligent monsters that have struck up a peace treaty with the humans. Weird, I know. Still, make your way to their village and find the mayor. Seems some rebel faction found the stone and are wanting to use its powers to take over the place. Hunt down the rebels (whose leader is named Ozzy of all things) and teach them why they shouldn't steal other people's shiny rocks! Take the rock back, lead the reberls to the town where they will stand trial, and get that rock back to the sunny place!

Cait Sith has an idea though, go back in time to whenever the current monarchy started and ask them to protect the place, make it into a preserve! Lucca seems to have ties to the royalty, so one jump back and a talk to the King and Queen, and they agree to mark that place off as forbidden/protected.

...Sure it might draw MORE theives, but at least the place will be guarded. Gotta feel sorry for the poor saps forced to protect the place though.

So, jump into the future and grab yourself a Sun Stone! Lucca will drop you back off at the End of Time and you can say goodbye to your chauffer. Gaspar, the old man, sees the stone, comments on it a bit, before pointing to a swirly green portal. Halfway there! You have to use the stone to power a device... so off you go!

...only to end up in some sort of underground city. Infested with monsters... very STRONG monsters... very BIG strong monsters... Oh look, there's a building with lights on! RUN!

By the time you make it inside, you either ran like a little b^tch, or you fought each and every time.. either way, you are either almost dead, or you cheated. Inside, a guy named Big Joe will ask if you wanna shop. Alot of the things he sells are for machines... and by the size of them, really BIG machines.

When you mention you have nothing to fit them into, Big Joe laughs and asks where your Gears are. Saying you have none makes the guy look at you as if you're crazy. From here, you get a tutorial on Gears and, by the grace of Deus Ex Machina, Big Joe happens to have a spare Gear for everyone to ride in to get out of the place. It won't last very long, being a piece of junk... but it will get everyong out of the ruins and into safer areas.

....Big Joe launches the Gear out of the building like a cannon in a very Evangelion fashion... conveniently forgetting that you are underground. As such, the junk machine craches through the roof of wherever you are and punches through until you see sky. At this point, though, the machine explodes, scattering you and your friends all over the place. Luckily, you still have teh Sun Stone.. unfortunately, now you have to find your friends.

Is reviving Aeris still worth it? If not, stop now, reset your game and go back to the previous save.... if so, continue.

Loser.. You have no life! All this for one girl? Geez... anyway, now you have to find your friends. Luckily, you landed near a village, where some guy named Citan is willing to take you to a place where you can not only get your own Gear, but where you can possibly get information on your friends. As such, he takes you to the Kingdom of Aveh, where his best friend is the crowned prince. His wife, a girl named Elly, tags along to keep her husband out of trouble. You get hook-ups all over the place, since apparantly Fei is some big-shot hero, and as such you get yourself a Gear, a map of the world, instructions on how to drive, and a Buster Sword sized to your Gear. Now, you can go onto your quest, especially since talking to trandom people in the Kingdom will net you some information... apparantly several things streaking through the sky landed in different places, which will be marked on your map for every one. When you have enough spaces to account for everyone in your party, that means you have a decent idea of where to go now.

The next part is redundant.. but go to each place on the map, fight a badguy and recover your friend. After each recovery, return to Aveh for an upgrade and to get your friend a nice shiny new Gear as well! Note, each person only gets a gear if you went through the five minute race for each person and beat it by at least a minute each time. That's right, that means you get to keep these suckers! Each person's Gear has similar weapons to the riders and upgrade accordingly. This means that Barrett's Gear will have either a big heavy weapon, or arm itself with a gatling gun of some kind. For the gears, you have to relead ammunition for Barrett and Vincent's Gears. When you have found everyone, return to Aveh and tell the crowned Prince, Bart, about your quest. He'll mention that OmniGears might have the power you seek. Perhaps if you talk to someone with alot of knowledge of Gear Mechanics and such, you can empower your gears to do what you need. You are pointed in the direction of the three sages, who helped make Fei's Gear.

One search later, you find a hut where the three Sages live... named Gaspar, Melchior and Balthazar. The old man Gaspar looks familiar... hmmm... anyway, you tell them what you plan to do and show them the Sun Stone. From it, they fashion several Solar Charges and install them, into the Gears. They become powered up and somehow gain golden armor peices and weapons. Don't ask, the Sages decided you needed to look particularly heroic. They say there is enough sun stone left to make a few more batteries, if you should need them.

Now, take your newly outfitted Gears and press all four shoulder buttons to activate the new Portal System.. which will jump you back to your own world. Fly your new Gears back to where Aeris died and open a new portal... this will send you straight into the realm of the Life Stream, where you have to fight a Bahamut-like creature in order to save Aeris. Careful, this thing drains your fuel with a few well placed techniques.. but if you outfitted your Gears at Big Joe's shop before hand, you should have no problem.

After smoking the Stream Entity, Cloud will leap out of his gear and swim towards Aeris, grabbing her into his arms in a cute FMV and carrying her back into his Gear. When the FMV is over, everyone is back at the Cetra Ruins where Aeris is awake and beating the shit out of Cloud for taking her away from the Stream. She activated Holy in time, but only just before you arrived. If you had coem sooner, the entire world would have been destroyed! Shame on you!

Well, she forgives you, and it now goes into a nice little FMV where an orgy between Cloud and the girls happen, while Barrett, Cait Sith, Red XIII, Cid and Vincent go off to get drunk. The scenes wil change between the orgy and the drunken party every so often... as in, before anything good happens.

Jump back to the world you got your Gears from after all of this and Aeris can get the strongest Gear in the game, which is labled El-Cetra. Also, you now get a new charcter... bring Aeris back to the Church you found her at, and you'll see a scene where a cloaked figure steps through, looking around curiously. Aeris will go up to the figure and it will remove its cloak, revealing itself to be a woman with long, sky blue hair who goes by the name of Schala. She will join your party, asking to find the way home to her little brother. You can also get her a Gear of her own, and all of her limit breaks are offensive magic. She uses staffs for weapons, just like Aeris, so you don't have to worry about anything weapon wise. Her Ultimate Weapon can be found in the world you got the Sun Stone from.

On a side note, you can add her to Cloud's harem quite easily.. just take her and Aeris to the Honey Bee Inn, where you got the Underwear for the 'Dress Like a Girl' sidequest, get a room... and the other two girls will join in.

Schala, apparantly, has a thing for leather and whips... and the girls happen to like the thought of a helpless Cloud. You do the math.

After this, you can go on with the game. Finally.

... Loser....

I'd play that game and it would be awesome.
So would I really...

Course.. one wonders how Red XIII would pilot a Gear... same thing with Cait Sith.

Course.. Cait Sith would probably go the way of Chuchu and just grow REEEEAALLY big.

It's simple, You must have Cloud unlock his Ban Kai. However, first, he must learn the true name of the Buster Sword, this alone can take years upon years, and even when your cloud is ready for Ban Kai, it takes at LEAST 10 years to learn, and another at least 30 to master, to ensure you revive Aeris.

This is, of course, in-game years that clock must keep track of, so expect to leave your playstation on for years on end.

First, you have to find the bonus dungeon. It's not really too hard, but a bit time consuming, since you need to build up your archeologist reputation at Bone Village. You do this by checking the number of fights you've been in through the old sleepning hermit in the mine, then digging up that amount of items.

Once you do this, you'll get an offer to escort the archeologists to the City of the Ancients. Do so, though it's going to be the most annoying combat mini-game yet. Still, it's not all that difficult, since it basically plays like a version of the Fort Condor strategy, only with you in place of the attackers. _Don't_ use the Archeologist unit for combat, though. If you do that, it's an automatic loss and you need to start over.

Now, just follow them in and talk to the guy with the kerchief on his head. A couple of text sequences later, you're in the bonus dungeon, and from here on it's just another dungeon crawl, where you'll be getting up to lv10 enemies on the first level of the dungeon, lv20 on the second, and so on till no.9 - make sure you're leveled appropriately. It would be best if you managed to have your main party with 9999HP on each character at the end, and/or stick the char with the most HP with revive magic/mastered Phoenix Summon Materia.

At the end of it, when you finally get to dungeon level 10, you'll need to be stocked up on curatives. The boss here is undead, and has spell resistance to pretty much anything _but_ curative items and spells, as well as a 50% damage reduction for physical attacks.

Hit him hard, with everything you've got. Elixirs, Full-Cure spells, and so on are best here. Don't pull Limit-Breaks since he tends to use some weird version of Regena on himself after you do that. Make _sure_ your party's healed up after every attack (also, try to keep Haste and protectives up, so Enemy Skill->Big Guard is your friend here) since when his HP get low enough, he'll start using Time-Stop, which - fortunately - doesn't as much freeze the ATB gauge as it is a non-elemental, non-physical attack that ignores defense and does exactly one point _less_ damage than the highest max-HP in the party. See what I mean about the max-HP. If you don't have 9999HP on everybody before he does this, or simply didn't level enough, then you likely now have only one character still alive. Phoenix or Revive All, Megaelixir, and start up with the attacks again. He'll likely get up to another two or three Time-Stops before he goes down, if you have your curatives leveled enough at least. If not, then sorry, but you're fucked.

If you've still got all three characters alive, then don't worry about healing, but let the bastard have it with curatives - he should go down before he gets his next turn, especially if you're hasted.

Now you'll get a special sequence that's similar to the ending battle, meaning the enemy and Cloud face off. Choose Limit-Break. You'll get an FMV of Cloud going to town on the undead bugger and finishing off the Omnislash with cutting his head off.

Congratulations!

You've found the Head of Vecna!

...

Aeris?

Isn't she ... you know ... perma-dead?

Can anyone post the link to the thread on GameFaqs that got this started? Curiousity got the better of me and tried to look for it, only I failed miserably.

It was purged, I'm afraid. Too much flaming going on.

Also, Griever, just to point out one thing... that 'last battle' of yours is easily circumvented with Final Attack -> Phoenix as a failsafe. That way, even if everyone gets hit for 9998 damage (FF8 Omega much?) and die, you can auto-revive up to 5 times.

I suggest you build in several nasty obstructions yet.

For instance, something like "You must not fight more than seven random battles in the train graveyard"; "Aeris must get all killing blows of the monsters in the TGY"; "Cloud must not have enough kills to have Limit Level 2 by the time Aeris dies" and others like that. (esp. the 3rd is downright evil, even for me)
