Harry Potter How do you picture the HP Characters?

Most of the characters don't have the descriptors that one usually uses to describe characters. Daphne is an ice princess starting from some of the very first fanon, i think.

When LR is citing those terms for Hermione, I don't believe these are words used to actually describe her. Rather in most cases the people are calling her names and he's using that as a basis of description. Not a cool way to go about it, as they have incentive to call her that. If she's actually described in those terms by the author, then he has a point. Not much of one though, because of the people that find her attractive.

is there a reason why all post prior to this (and maybe this one) as well eventually are credited to chaos and creation

i would love to know where the theme of Daphne being an ice princess comes from
I think Jeconais was the writer who came up with that originally, for the story "Perfect Situations" and its follow-up "Matryoshka Vignettes".

Around 6:30 "I'm still going to see my gawky, geeky, ugly duckling Hermione in my mind."
Wouldn't this descriptor, as it is usually used, mean that Hermione ended up looking good. I mean, I'm not sure about gawky, and geeky is relative (I like geeky girls), but the term Ugly Duckling would normally mean she's gonna grow into at least moderately good looks.

I've always imagined Hagrid as looking like Hiker from Pokemon Red/Blue.

And Harry Potter...well, this is somewhat arrogant, but Harry as myself. Because I look a lot like the book descriptions of him. I am not the only one to have made this observation. For example,I was in Japan one time, dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, and some junior high-school kids walked by me on the street. Then they stopped, turned, pointed at me, and started yelling in really excited voices, "Harry Potter!"
