True, but as I stated, the Assassin God has many, many methods, from the electric bird knife to the chest in broad daylight, to slow poisoning over the course of months so it appears that the target got sick and died.
And what you say isn't necessarily true. Sometimes you want them to know there was an assassin. A government is going to be a lot more careful about its actions if they know that there's someone out there capable of killing them at will. For most cases, anonymity and secrecy is best, but there are times when knowing that it didn't "just happen" are more beneficial.
