As long as we get a good movie with Boba Fett as the main focus i'll be happy. Other than that, we all know they're going to milk the franchise like a dairy cow till its drier than the sands of Tattooine.

But Episode II was good. If you expected the romance between former slave boy and girl who became responsible for freaking planet at the age of fourteen to be anything but awkward to watch, it's time to apply a reality check. And aside from hilariously bad romance which was actually in-character given their backgrounds, there's not a lot to gripe about.

IMO, Episode II was the worst. It was like George Lucas was trying to make a romance movie that just happened to have Star Wars characters in it rather than an actual Star Wars movie.

Episode 7 Casting rumors and Story changes

Even more interesting is the claim that "Abrams and Lucasfilm are now searching for a 20-something female actress who is either of mixed race or black. The rumor is that Obi-Wan Kenobi had a daughter or granddaughter."

Hmmm....will this make Obi-wan more of a hypocrite or does it fit in....I mean the line "What I told you is true from a Certain Point of view" is Jedi for, "I Lied my ass off."

Oh, and if she's the illegitimate daughter of Obi-wan and Satine or Obi wan and Ventress then I am cool.

And from the sounds of it, there's been quite a bit of behind the scenes drama on Episode VII that led to Oscar-winning screenwriter Michael Arndt parting ways with the project last fall. Even the counsel of former Lucasfilm boss George Lucas was said to have been sought. From THR:

"Arndt is said to have focused on the offspring of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), with the original trilogy heroes taking on supporting roles. Abrams, however, wanted Episode VII to focus on the classic trio of characters, so audiences could have one more chance to enjoy them before a fitting send-off. The new characters, the offspring, will now be in supporting roles, according to these sources, and take center stage in Episode VIII and IX. Some characters have disappeared from the Arndt script and new ones are being drafted.

JJ, I appreciate you wanting to bring these characters back for one more adventure, but please learn from the years of Star Wars EU, and let them go.
