I think while it'd be interesting to see this Ilya's reactions to being in the Fifth Holy Grail War, especially with Shiro-nii-san and Rin-sempai, it might be better to see Ilya in the Fourth. For one, there's less rehash of "We were friends in my world! Why are you trying to kill me?!" For another, it might be a good way for both her and her mom and dad to confront some truths.

While Kirigitsu loves Ilya, he obviously doesn't love her enough to go back at the end of the war and save her from von Einzbern's clutches. On the one hand, I get that he's sick of anything to do with magi but on the other, this action was probably a key component in how Ilya turns out the way she did. It's one thing to not have a mother because she dies. It's quite another when your still-living father pulls a fast one and decides to abandon you.

On Ilya's side, it'll probably be a maturation and realization into the darker world of adults. She'll probably have to struggle to maintain her sunny disposition and idealism in the face of the cluster .... that is the Fourth Grail War.

Or, there's the usual switch places. Ilya post-Berserker but pre-start of the 5th War switches with magical girl Ilya. That would be interesting for both of them. It allows Stay Night Ilya to live in a more carefree and loving world for a bit and magical girl Ilya to start off with a clean slate in the FSN world.

Guess the pictures aren't showing up. But the pictures are from the series you're talking about anyway. Specifically, they were Ilya installing the Archer card and then Archer-ko tracing Excalibur against Black Saber.

Bear in mind that something odd may be happening here as Illya apparantly installed the Archer-ko card without being in Magical Girl form... she then radiates massive amounts of magical energy, much like a full on Heroic Spirit.

if anything she is stronger then standard Heroic Spirit archer Emiya as using full power excalibur is normally outside his limit. Probably still weaker the Counter guardian version though as that has the world providing nigh infinite mana.

Honestly this is currently one of my favorite series at this time, good balance of comedy and action.

Also, Miyu definately belongs to the Dark Magic Girl trope, and has fallen down Fate-chan's route with regards the main lead, Illya.

Personally, I find this amusing. And really, it's not like the possibility didn't exist. The Fate/Hollow Atraxia Kleido stick had to pull power and behaviour from somewhere... :lol:

That still doesn't change the fact that they didn't even deserve to show up in the manga. I guess without Archer Rin has no real worth. Her ego's just too big.

I might have actually liked this manga if the cards had summoned the servants themselves, as they were all much more interesting characters than the girls used as the mains. They even made the Heroic Spirits that do appear lose their personalities.

It's basically what Fate/Stay Night would be if you removed everything that made it good and gave magical girl powers to some mediocre characters (as while Ilya wasn't mediocre in the VN, she certainly is in this). So, as there is no value in the manga itself, I don't really see how this idea could possibly produce an interesting fic.
