Naruto Just a bit of a question

If I were to start writing any of my Naruto fics soon, would I be allowed to post them here in the previews area as I flesh them out, of should I just post the finished product on FF.net and announce it here?

Sure go right ahead and post them here, that's what this board was established for afterall wasn't it (wasn't it, Hawk?) so put'em up and that way you'll have you're very own team of betas to go through it with a fine tooth comb before it ever hits FF.net.

Yup, as Israfel said, that's sort of the point of the 'preview' board. Although, if you'd like any beta-ing done on the fic, you should probably mention it in the post as well. Most of us are (or at least, I am) too lazy to do it without any prompting.

Hehe, I'm certainly not, if I have a problem or suggestion for your fic you will be hearing about it.

That's good to hear. ^_^ But I meant more as detailed C&C and pointing out any grammatical mistakes. While I have no doubt about your ability to do so, you simply might not want to spend the time going through it unless asked do so, yes?

Well if you notice, my own fics are previewed here as well before I post them up on FFN. So, if it's okay for me, than it should be okay for you. ^_^

Hell, I just posted a preview of my own fic, so... if it's fine for ME...

So I think if we have the top 4 biggest memebrs on the board (aside from Hawk, but he tends to go AWOL for stretches of time anyway) agreeing on this then I'd say it's okay. Feel free to post something up for us to rip to shre...err I mean read and enjoy and provide insightful criticisms on.

Actually, I liked the 'rip to shreds' part.

Yeah, but we were messing with you. :p Just like we're messing with Dhamp. ^_^

BTW, Izzy, your title... really emo. I don't think it fits you all that well. Although, I forgot to mention, nice avatar. It's Rikku from the KH2 preview thingy, right?

Meh, the title's from a song so I felt like putting it up for a while, the song is "Mad World" from the Donnie Darko soundtrack if anybody wants to hear it. And yes the avatar is 'that mysterious figure' that we see in the preview video at the end of KH1.

KH sucked anyway. Worst AI since Sword of Mana, your teammates ate up Potions faster than you could say 'shit'.

Yeah, the AI sucked ass. But you can't tell me you didn't enjoy kicking some of those villainÆs asses. I for one enjoy mauling that stupid Sephiroth once again (although, it took me a bit. Sephy's really been taking his vitamins since Cloud handed his ass to him).

Plus, messing around in the various Disney worlds was sort of amusing.

Bah, the only time I ever really found my teammates helpful was when facing a couple of the later bosses they would usually draw most of the fire away from me and I would get sporadically healed by one of them, but otherwise I would usually just let them die and then not bother to revive them.

And yes Sephiroth was a pain in the ass, he's not only been taking vitamins, so has his sword, the things like 20 frickin feet long, it covers over half the ring in one swipe.

It seems we all have a similar opinion on the usefulness of our teammates in this case. I did keep reviving them though, as they were useful in one regard.

Two words: Cannon Fodder. For some enemy's, taking their sole focus away from you is an utter blessing.

The Sephiroth battle was probably the most fun I had in that game; even though I was cursing it out more then half the time. Sephy's performance in KH is a hell of a lot better then it was in FF7 (Hell, I could kill Sephiroth in basically half a dozen attacks for each of his battles).

Yah I definitely gotta admit, that battle was fun. I loved playing him just for that reason, because it was a war of attrition with him, this wasn't a battle about moving in hard and fast for a quick kill, this you needed to worry more about just surviving it and chipping away at him, not to mention with the music going it made for a very exciting battle.

Meh, once you learn to anticipate Sin Harvest, Suckeroth is a complete wimp. Never had much trouble.

I find older games like Seiken Densetsu 3 much, much more challenging.

Mmm... I love the Seiken Densetsu series. Secret of Mana was my #1 favorite game on the SNES (this is partly because it had probably the most advanced two-player system of its timeà at least for an RPG). I don't believe that Seiken Densetsu was released out of Japan though, was it? I've never played it.

Wait a minute, at the beginning of your post you say you love Seiken Densetsu and then at the end you say you've never played it, so how does that add up?

Ahh that makes quite a bit more sense. Sometimes, when you guys are making these amazing leaps of logic that all of you are wont to make, you seem to trip up somewhere along the way and fall into that canyon of uncertainty inbetween.
