Yeah so somebody pointed out that Kamina should be Rasengan.

but... what about Kaiten?

Simon could be that 64 palms thing, Yoko could be that vacuum palm blast.

Then all three of them are always following Neji around, mostly because Kamina would have an anyrism about Neji's fatalism.
All the Hyuuga moves are Taijutsu though...
But the Hyuuga Taijutsu style relies on ninjutsu-like Chakra usage and the Byakugan.

I can see the Byakugan having a kami, but not the Jyuuken techniques. More Taijutsu then Ninjutsu. Also, I forsee Byakugan being a pervert of some kind. Preferably Voyeur/Shota-con.

The Gates should be Jotaro Kujo.
Hrm... I think the gates more like part of your circulatory system than something externalized, like jutsu.
Ok, Lotus moves then.

I count having the balls to force open chakra gates for a brief burst of power to beat the crap out of the other guy at the cost of your general well-being deserving of having a guy go "ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA," as you do it.

The gentle fist has so much chakra that it should have jutsu kami. And I dobut the various kami would care about actual classifications, only that they existed.

If we're bringing in guys from Gurren Laggan, the Caged Bird seal would have to be Rossiu. Post timeskip, but before Simon punches him. Come on, I can't be the only one who sees how well that would work out? He could get some kind of punch of destiny second-hand through Neji in the Chuunin Exams. They even look sort of alike.

I, personally, want to see what the Kirigakure no Jutsu looks like. It's a jutsu that makes mist to hide in, so I can't help but picture a small, shy, young looking girl. One who looks sort of scared of everything around her. I then imagine her with Zabuza. Zabuza, the Demon from the Bloody Mist, with a scared little girl hiding behind him. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It would ether be hilarious, or adorable. Or both. That 'Bloody Mist' title sounds wrong in this context, too. Kinda chainsaw wrong.
Ami from Sailor Moon would work as the Kirigakure no Jutsu kami. Her primary fist attack was a bunch of bubbles that in turn created pretty much the same effect.

She doesn't quite fit when you consider that the primary effect of that jutsu is not hiding so you can think of a better strategy.

But it would be unfair to give Jyuuken Jutsu-kami only because its use of chakra is more blatant and visible.

Agreed. If there was a technique called 'Nut-Buster no Jutsu' using a chakra-over-powered kick to the groin, I'm pretty sure that was just a regular chakra-over-powered kick to the groin with a fancy-sounding Engrish name.

Same goes for the Jyuuken. So unless there's a jutsu that opens up for the use of the Jyuuken, I vote that only the Byakugan gets a Jutsukami.

Um...Just my .02, but this is kinda distracting from the idea. It wasn't "who could become the Kami", but "What would Naruto do after discovering the jutsugami exist".

my guess is run around the village shouting believe it and nobody believes it

Close enough right?

i honestly have given up on the story for the most part when this became more about the crossovers than the premise

Then don't read it, simple as that.

Or do you have a burning need to let other people know how discusted and disappointed you are when the story doesn't go how you want it to go? If that is the case, you can always write your own and let others C&C it. -_-

Seriously. This story is written by an author. It is the authors. It is not the reader's story. If you want it to go a certain way, write it yourself. If an author only wrote what reader's wanted, then it wouldn't be the author's story. It wouldn't be good either. criticism with plot development, holes, or lack of flow is one thing. Complaining about the progression of events and choice of characterization is something only an author should choose for themselves. No one, not even readers, even if we feel that it doesn't fit, should decide for the author.

So stop whining. As many others have said, don't like, then don't read. Troublesome thread bumpers... I actually thought there was an update. :rip1:

oh fuck all your moralizing, it's a totally valid point. and i happen to know that meinos is open minded enough to take it for what it is.

and for the record i never outright state that an author must change their story to suit me.

I think the more important issue here is who would be the kami for pretty beam?

Edit: now that I think about it... probably Goku.

kuopiofi, Cyberscythe, that was totally uncalled for! We don't use Don't Like, Don't Read or Let's See YOU Do Better here. Leave that garbage on FF.net where it belongs.

For the record. I never said let's see you do better. I said that if you want the story to go your way, write it yourself. I never said for him to do it better or anything of that sort. I'm not going to bother myself with this any further, but I stick by my belief that if your criticism doesn't involve plot planning, flow of the story, or some other form of contstructive criticism, then don't bother making a criticizing it at all.

You know, I can't help but be a bit confused here.

When the story contains more than one OC, even when there really is no other way but to use OC's, almost everyone complains how OC's are bad, evil, how they ruin the story and how they want to read about canon characters.

When instead of OC's someone uses crossover characters to fill specific roles, there is much complaining how the story is watered down and becomes 'all about crossovers' - granted, in this particular case I really feel OC's would be better, but that's just personal preference. Well, that and the fact that suddenly everyone is focused about the 'awesome' crossover characters when the story is about Naruto interacting with jutsu kami, but whatever.

Seesh. Make up your mind, people. Also, constant suggestions about who should be jutsu kami of what kind of derailed a talk about what's more important overall - the story itself. Leave the casting to the author, unless he outright asks for help. Or, better yet - since there already is a thread in the ideas section, why not use it?

And take away the source of everyone's arguing? Surely you jest!

Maybe the discussion about who/ what jutsugami you'd prefer to see should be moved here since it's where this whole thing started.

Randomly having other series characters pop up as part of the regular world in an otherwise non-crossover fic is awful. It's totally different from too many OCs, I will take a dozen OCs over Rei, Shinji, and Asuka randomly showing up for the chunin exams with Misato the Jounin.

QTF.

Now, stop this argument, please, and let's enjoy the fic...or do I have to bring in Chuck Norris?
