It also occurs to me that the Saber's hairstyle and particularly the bow in her hair make her look really girly. The battle armor dress doesn't help either. Change the hair to a more military style (seriously, why does a king and warrior have hair that long?), get rid of the bow and the battle dress, and add a beard, and you could probably mistake Saber for an effeminate young man.

I can only presume that Mordred refused to parley if Arthur wasn't dressed like that.

When Shirou starts to dream up Saber's memories and in the end of Fate after the battle of Camlann Saber looks the same as when she's summoned. I put it down to 'people back then were dumb' trope.

IIRC, Merlin cast an illusion over Arturia so that whoever looks at her would see a man. Of course, this only worked while Merlin was still alive/conscious; once Arturia entered the Grail Wars and left Merlin behind, the illusion was gone.

Saber: King Arthur(Arturia)
Lancer: Mordred*
Caster: Lady of the Lake
Berserker: Lancelot
Rider: Gawain**
Archer: Sir Tristan
Assassin:

*Maybe?
**Galahad is boring, and already got the (possibly real) Grail

Who should be Assassin? An Hashshashin or someone else?

Assassin in the first Fate was a fictional character (although he wasn't True Assassin). If no one from Arthurian legend works than maybe one of Thomas Becket's assassins? Or was there someone from the legends who was sufficiently rogue-like even if they weren't assassins?

Didn't Gawain go bonkers when Lancelot kill his brothers accidentally? He would make a good berserker. His noble phantom being that he is completely invulnerable during the day since the Sun loves him(remember reading something like that). Also Gawain and Lancelot would have the same stats with Gawain being stronger and Lancelot being faster(since most stories have them being equal)

I believe the champion backstabbing sneak of all time might well be Morgan le Fay.

A match between Arthuria and Lancelot has one problem:

The name Lancelot is not a reference to jousting, but is actually a corruption of Lancelet, which is a knife used by medieval surgeons to perform the counterproductive medical procedure known as bleeding. Which implies that his combat style is to make his opponents bleed to death.

The traditional power of the sheath of Excalibur is that its bearer cannot bleed (externally, at least). The bearer can bruise, get bones broken, and have organs get damaged to the point of failure, but said bearer will not bleed. This puts an opponent whose style centers around making the other person bleed out at a severe disadvantage.

Gawain was the Maiden's Knight, and was at his strongest from morning to mid-day. He wasn't invulnerable, but he was strong enough that Lancelot had to wait until noon to beat him.

Parsifal should be Archer.
I think you mean Percival.

This is Nasuverse Lancelot and Nasuverse Artur(ia). Here, Lancelot's style is based around using anything as a weapon, while Excalibur's sheath doesn't prevent bleeding, but does have regenerative properties which can bring the bearer back from the brink of death.

Really? Must have read a different version than yours.

The way I heard it Gawain was strongest at noon and weakest at night, with his strength waxing as morning passed and waning throughout the afternoon.

Can we get it so that all, or almost all, of the Servants (Fifth Grail War) know each other from Arthur's Court?

Saber: King Arthur(Arturia)
Lancer: Sir Kay
Caster:Merlin
Berserker:Lancelot
Rider:Sir Galahad
Archer: John Cleese
Assassin:Mordred
I couldn't think of one for Archer.
Fixed.

"The Grail!" Saber.

"The Grail!" Lancer.

"It's only a model!" Archer.

"Shh!"

In Monty Python and the Holy Grain John Cleese was Lancelot.

"A European or an African Swallow?"

"G - Gilgamesh-san... how did you do that?"

The King of Heroes only shrugged.

"A King has to know these things, you know."
