Personally I think it's the format. The advantage Unknown has that a lot of people can't keep up with is that he is good with the flashes. I mean like really really good. And flashes are more fun to watch than comic format. Now if Unknown had gone comics, which he has proven himself to be good at in the past, he would likely have lost (Although even then, he still has an edge since his are pretty much always colored). Other people find it difficult to keep up with that kind of competition.
Frankly Unknown's was more entertaining to watch (In small part because I'm no fan of Relic, but again I admit the artist has a LOT of skill with shaping it), but for pure intrigue I'd have gone with Exile's entry. Even that was just by a hair (A thick one though. Karl was bending Relic to his will. Now THAT'S interesting. However I also think that was a failing. In that aspect Relic's character is ill defined while Karl's is more second nature to us now. We KNOW how Karl thinks, while Relic not so much. From what I've seen of him however, I cannot honestly believe he'd be swayed that easily. But then again, one could argue the previous scene where he almost bit the artist could have worked into that, which would have made much more sense. The problem is we didn't see Relic's thoughts as to this, which makes it not as obvious, hence a failing), because Unknown's epilogue was pretty intriguing too. Struck a small cord in me.
Intrigue however does not win battles. Which is why I was surprised the Psycho robot lost to Chimbley of all people. That was so much intrigue you could cut it with a spoon. Chimbley's artist however always fails at that particular aspect, but manages to make up for it with others.
Shame at the loss of Mizuno. Though it was rushed, it was more action packed, thus more entertaining. Pockets was... kiddie frankly. Then again, Crihitt's error was not defining Pockets enough in the battle. Felt more like Enemy, fight, win, rather than some development on both sides in addition to that.
My desires? KARL VS. CHIMBLEY. It's win-win. Karl goes to the final round (Most likely, though seriously, PRETTY FREAKING LIKELY), we see the epic Unknown usage of Chimbley along with TWO epic voices in one video, and of course win galore.
I'm still none too fond of the Professor and Anne, but the plot point they brought is made of win.
However given how things have gone up till now, I know it will be the Proff vs. Karl. Why? Becuase unless I'm not remembering correctly, you are fond of them, and Unknown has knocked off all your favorites so far. :snigger:
