Hello. I just noticed, you guys..
My member status is still normal.
Also, I just went into the Lemon subforum and read "Ranma the Anxious Overburdened Tentacle Demon".
I suspect maybe Hawk just changed the properties of those subforums. Or perhaps my account glitched in a helpful way
If it's the former, it really makes a lot of sense; Hawk obviously is here virtually never, and 'perverted member' is really kind of a tautology here (well, just like everywhere really.. but here it is especially true that perversion is just standard*). In this case..

He could have just granted some moderative powers to a few people and then let them handle lemon access. It would have solved the problme in at least a manner that doesnt remind me of nanoha blasting shit. A yes the word is eloqentley I beleive. IT just seems that such a solution doesn't really fix the issue that lemon access did in the beigginning which while in technicality lemon acess could have been granted to annyone regardless of age it would at least seem like it was meant for only those who were mature. *sighs* I don't even get what I'm trying to say anymore.
Yeah. Well the problem still remains, Hawk is a busy guy. And a guy that doesn't exactly take fondly to having anyone else with moderator powers. After all, if the moderator he chooses turns out to be a bastard, the forum would go downhill in an entirely different route.
Not that he himself has done well in that field given how little he's been on the forum. Still, there is a reason why he choose not to give anyone else mod powers.
And I'm not sure if he could give another person with 'just grant lemon access' powers. I don't know how this type of forum works, so I don't know what the mechanisms are like.

Well... I never worked with the Invision software directly either. However, my understanding was GH and the other individuals that have their own subsections are moderators of those sections, though I may be wrong on that.
If true though, then at least in theory, somone could have been given powers over the lemon subsection only. Uncertain if that would work, since administration over a subsection does not automatically imply they have access rights to the status portion of member profiles, which is global.

Its not like Hawk is too busy for fanfiction lately.
If you check his ffnet profile, he has a bunch of stories added onto his favorites list that were published after 1/27, which prior to today was the last day he had logged in to the forums.
For whatever reason, he just doesn't come here anymore. Or, at least he doesn't come here anymore and log onto his 'Hawk' account.

Hawk would at least give the people that are rule breakers a chance. But, as much as a lot of people like to deny it, there are a lot of people that deserve that one chance, and probably blow it. <_<
And yeah, Hawk might have 'time' to do stuff (i.e. he doesn't work 24/7), but what would you rather do if you're Hawk?
