I don't know... It's not a bad design, honestly. The necklace is a little odd, the sunglasses need to go, and the sweatshirt tied around the waist doesn't make a lot of sense given it goes under the shell, but I do think it's okay.

Eh, not the best, but not nearly as bad as it could have been. Remember the pictures of them having actual Turtle "beaks" that were floating around a few months ago? After that I am willing to take this one.

On the other "hand" the swords just look to small in comparison to the rest of the body.

It also looks like the chest piece is tied directly to the shell, like the shell is part of the armor. It's almost like the characters are evolved turtles who lost their shells over the eons, and found shells off deceased earth giant turtles / replica shells and made them part of their outfits.

Kinda reminds me of that one Juupongatana guy from RK - you know, the blind one.

Still, it's a better look than I was expecting. I could get used to this.

Oh God, my eyes. They're trying to retreat back into my skull so I don't have to look at this... whatever this is.

...why is Raphael's headband maroon? It looks far too similar to Donatello's in that shade. I thought he WAS Donatello for a moment.

Hahahahaha. Considering I've never really been a fan of the series, nor do I intend to see the movie, these pics just amuse me all the more.

... Donatello is wearing eyeglasses. EYEGLASSES. WTF?

The mad inventor's specs I could see. They fit him, given his role on the team.

What, did he break into an optomitrist's shop one night, and had one of the others give him his eye test? IT MAKES NO SENSE. DAMN YOU BAY! QUIT RUINING MY CHILDHOOD!

So, did anyone watch this movie? There's people panning it due to it suffering from completely unreasonable tone changes [going from silly jokes to 'LOOK AT MEGAN FOX IN TIGHT SHORTS' to 'MY PARENTS ARE DEAD'], the Turtles and Shredder looking quite ugly [true, no need to be beautiful, but...], and apparently the Big Bad isn't even the Shredder?

The main complaint is, as foreseen, the turtles are sidekicks in their own movie. Most of it is about April, or better, Megan Fox. There are some good scenes when the turtles are on the screen -like the infamous elevator scene which I can't wait to see integrally on youtube- but just like in Transformers, those that are supposed to be the title characters get relegated to secondary ones because the humans one are sooo muuuuuch more interesting.

I'll just get back to the Nickelodeon series...

Yeah, hollywood has a real problem with the "OMG LOOK @ DEESE HUMANS SAVE THE DAY!"

Newsflash: I don't give a flying fuck about the humans when I go see Transformers, Ninja Turtles, or any other movie based on the premise of non-human protagonists. My mind doesn't find it necessary to have a human presence just so I can identify with him/her.

I've heard the Turtles are really huge in this film; any truth to that? I read somewhere that their overall size was unreasonable...

Also, did Fox/whoever ever release the complete 2003 TMNT series on dvd? I know they released some of it...
