merging Love Hina & Negima - different name

Reminds me a bit too much of "Unlimited Bladeworks", but it could just be me.
PCHeintz72 has a point though. Not every new reader will know the 'slang' terms like 'Akamatsuverse'. Might be easier to just use the author's name and go with that convention,
Ken Akamatsu fanfiction
would solve a lot of issues; readers know who it is, it clubs ALL of his different series and it doesn't start with 'A'.

I'd very much rather it not be by the author/creator name... Akamatsuverse or Akamatsu Works I could live with, even if annoying, but no other section on this forum I can think of is by a author/creator name.
Also, I would never have found it were I searching for a Love Hina or Negima forum at all, as it never would occur to me to search by that...

I assume that description for the forum would also say Love Hina and Negima in it, so I doubt people will get that confused.
Just because you dislike the works because it reminds you of UBW is not really a valid reason. Negima has several Fate references in it anyway, so one more would be fitting. LH obviously doesn't because it predates Fate, but it probably would have if it didn't.

I don't read any of these series so I've stayed out of this thread until now, but this does seem the best compromise to me. Grouped together in one subforum because they are one universe, but still with their own sub-subforums because they are still separate mangas with their own not necessarily overlapping fandoms.

True, true. But its MY reason for starting this thread. With all the confusion about what people seem to want, I'm just making clear what suggestion I'm against.
The way the thread is going, looks like the new name would be,
Negima/Love Hina Forum
Which makes sense.
Unless someone wants to start saying that it should be Love Hina/Negima Forum instead... (I'm kidding, I'm kidding. You can put the axe down now!)

It doesn't to me. It's extremely limiting. Both Love Hina and Negima have ended. They're over. Done with. The Negima section is essentially a vacant lot, and while there are certainly subforums deader than Love Hina, Love Hina is still moving at a rate of around a dozen posts a week, so it is, for all intents and purposes, effectively dead as well, barring the occasional posted snippet.
We know Akamatsu is going to do more things in the future. He's said as much already. It makes more sense to me to go with Akamatsuverse, because that's a broader category that covers not just everything he's already done, but anything he does in the future. We won't have to make new subforums for whatever new things he comes out with. We can just have it all in there.
If it being 'above' Anime/Manga is a problem, then just go with "The Akamatsuverse."

I'm with the 'Akamatsuverse' side on this because while those are his most famous works, he has had others and probably will have more in the future (I've heard his next series will hit in the summer) so its cutting off things at the pass.
For example, its like calling the Type-Moon section the Fate/Stay Night/Tsukihime section because those are the two biggest fans groups. It has an umbrella term for anything released by Type-Moon.
So if the term 'Akamatsuverse' annoys people, why not just call the section

"For All things by Ken Akamatsu, such as Love Hina or Negima. Fics'n ideas'n discussions mainly based off Ken Akamatsu's works' fandoms."
