So, I'm just wondering why MOBA threads were moved from Games Talk to the MMO section. Moba games are not even close to Massively Multiplayer. In any one game, there are at most 10 people playing.
Also, according to wikipedia:
The issue is, admittedly, a bit muddled, since there are so many people playing a MOBA on the same server. IMO, that does not make the game an MMO. Yes, there are a lot of people playing the game, but they're not playing in the same game world.
Besides, if LoL, for example, had offered the capability, it would be possible to gather up 9 friends and play the game offline without losing out on the game experience.
So, since MOBA games are not, IMO, Massively Multiplayer, and since it should technically be possible to play a MOBA offline without losing out on some of the point, I vote for MOBA threads being moved back to Games Talk.

MMOGs create a persistent universe where the game milieu continues regardless of interaction.

MMOGs host a large number of players in a single game world, and all of those players can interact with each other at any given time. Popular MMOGs might have thousands of players online at any given time, usually on a company owned servers.
