If it isn't too much hassle, could you post the link to that Nanoha/Fate crossover thread?

It's finally over.

Daneel I have to thank you for this emotional roller coaster. I think life without this 3 year fixation of mine would have been not a sweet, and definitely nowhere near as entertaining. I hope that you continue to nurse the muse that created this. And it births something just as if not more beautiful in the near future.

The Crawling Chaos has influence in the Shinkirou clan!? The Shionzaki clan was once ruler of all, until someone (Sayoko?) took care of the matriarch? Wow!

Is it the end? No.

This is only the beginning. So much left undone. So much more to be seen...

This was so beautiful. The ending really felt sudden, too soon, paced just right, a little sad, a little hopeful...

What didn't it feel like? Here I am sitting behind a computerscreen a few minutes before I hit the hay...writing my rambling thoughts down while I still feel these feelings. Your story was slow. It was detailed. It had those handful of lime chapters that were some of the hottest I've ever read. It had these heartfelt moments that outshone the most sincere of romantic or emotional stories. It had humor that made me laugh outloud, love and friendship that made me care...

As often as this faded from my mind only to return in force with the next snippet of a chapter, this story has been one of the most important ones in my life.

I can only hope that a sequel DOES come. And it has to have Naruto as the main protagonist again, of course. Not just a story in the same universe...but it feels like with this ending, you have set yourself for a long break. The first book in a series that might never hold a sequel...

I hope I'm wrong, but only because this rollercoaster of feelings must never end. It did, and it didn't. And it must never be so yet it is. Does that make sense? It doesn't? It shouldn't. But it does for me. Right now I am sleepy and spouting this nonsense, deliberately not going back to edit my words other than correct spelling mistakes (the ones I notice while I'm writing them.). Because with as much time and thought as you, Daneel, put into this story, you deserve to read my uncut feelings on this story. I'll be honest, those short chapters happening in the other world that was ending, I skipped over most of those. I couldn't care less. But everything that happened in the main world. All of that, I must have read it five or six times, excepting this last chapter. I'll probably read it all a dozen times more in my lifetime. Because while it's entire premise might seem so simple, a FANFICTION, it has surpassed it's source material by an order of magnitude.

So many OC's who are worthwhile.

It shouldn't work, but even as a fanfiction (and I hate to look down on one of my favorite forms of entertainment) this has all the feelings of one of the greats.

Good luck with your every future endeavours. May one of them be a sequel, and tell all of us should it ever come out. I guarantee you, even if it takes you five years to get started, there will be plenty of people waiting to read it. I amongst them.

Just please, don't let it be five years.

So Genkyouien finally comes to an end. The story that brought me to TFF in the first place. I guess thats reason enough to stop lurking and finally make my first post. Thanks for the fun ride Daneel!

Four years man. It's come to an end. It's been a long ride. Thank you for sharing this awesome story with us Daneel. Give yourself a pat on the back.

This was the story, after seven years in the fanfiction community, that didn't fit my idea of what fan stories were. It was so different, outside the conventional box other authors chose to work in, and I was immediately addicted. I'm sad only in that we've reached the end, but it was an amazing finish. Thank you SO MUCH for writing this Daneel!

Many thanks for your kind messages and good wishes.

Now, some might have noticed I've began updating the Sayumayu wiki. I had already updated the write-ups for the kitsune clans we've met thus far: Shinkirou, Kuromiya, Shionzaki, Kinoshita and Nagashirakawa. On today's second update, I have added updated bios for all (living) members of Higashiyama, plus brand-new bios for the leaders of Shinkirou, Nagashirakawa and Kinoshita.

Now, a question: should further discussion of Sayumayu stay in this thread, or should a thread in the Talk section be opened?

Well this thread might as well be closed if Genkyouien is over. No point in having it open when the most we'll be talking about now is more world building for the SayuMayu project.

I come back after eight months and the greatest story on this site ends. I'm not quite sure how to feel about this.
