Reikai Sensei Kuwabara

This fic is located in the Yu Yu Hakusho section of Fanfiction.net (found it on someones favorites) but it takes place in the world of Negima (entirely so far, and according to the author, it will stay in the world of Negima). It seemed to belong in the Negima section to me, but if I should remove this, let me know.

Anyway, this fic is has Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho being added into the world of Negima....as a teacher. He arrives at the same time as Negi, and canon continues with him involved. (Don't blow it aside yet, keep reading. Its much better then it sounds).

I was sceptical about this story till I actually read it, and was pleasently suprised to find that it was alot of fun. How Kuwabara arrives at Mahora is realistic and well done, and all the characters seem to be in character. This is a pretty humorus fic (for those who remember Yu Yu Hakusho, Kuwabara was a pretty funny character, and he fits in real well.) The idea of Kuwabara being super-overpowered hasn't been an issue yet, and I don't think it will be a problem. The fic has gotten to the Eva arc, and he has yet to get in a real fight. If anything, he is under-powered compared to what he was in canon.

So far this fic has been great, though the last chapter had some more Yu Yu Hakusho characters introduced, something I am worried may throw of the story a bit.....but we will have to wait and see how big their roles are.

In short, I reccomend this fic simply because it is a rather fun read thats pretty well written, and had me chuckling constantly. Especially the little previews at the end of each chapter

EDIT: After looking at it again, the fact that Kuwabara is the main character (the focus is on how he sees the events of Negima), this fic may not belong in the Negima section afterall. However, I will wait till someone states they feel its doesn't belong in this section till I move it, as I am still not sure.

I would like to suggest this one, http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3334298/1/Chiu...f_a_Lonely_Girl, called Chiu! Diary of a Lonely Girl. It involves an alternate beginning of Negima, where Negi is assigned to Chisame's room instead of Konoka and Asuna's. The story provides a large amount of insight into Chisame as a person and focuses on interactions between Chisame and Negi. I found it to be well developed and written. Chisame is one of my favourite characters in Negima, but there are not very many long fics about her (most are only one shots) so finding this one was a nice surprise for me.

Just as a note, this story does not go very far into the time line of the actual series.

I've only just noticed that A Day Indoors was updated last month, and the new chapter is interesting, and pretty funny (well, unless you take it to seriously - really, Haruna shouldn't do some things).

It ends with this bit of dialogue, between Makie and Nodoka (very mild spoiler, highlight to read):

Haruna really should know better.

Good point. I have to wonder what Negi would say, if/when he found out (the snippet doesn't make it clear whether Negi knew why Nodoka wanted a copy of Paru's artifact). For that matter, what would Asuna say, and was Haruna dumb enough to pimp out a copy of Eva?

Agreed. Hmm, who else seems to be a dom or sub in that class? Eva is quite domme-y, but might be a switch, no?

Nodoka.... I think she'd be a sub for Negi, but possibly a dom in other relationships.
