At this point, the's really only one thing to say.

The flames washed forward, reducing the ground into particles of data. Beelzebumon was surprised by the sudden appearance of a new enemy, but he knew that there were times to shelve questions and æwhen an enormous Digimon is trying to kill youÆ was one of them.
He leapt into the air in an attempt to avoid the flames.
Belphemon huffed out a breath, muzzle stretching into a toothy smile.
That was fine with him; heÆd just flood the area with flames. He can burn to ashes when he gets down.

This time, the amount of flames called forth was far greater; the previous attack was like a candle flame compared to this inferno. They washed over the earth like a tsunami; everything to the horizon was covered in the evil fires.
Everything except the small, yellow fox-like humanoid and the ground around her; a five meter by five meter area was clear of the flames. Even the heat from them was held back by his will.
But that left a weak point in the attack and Belphemon knew it. If Beelzebumon could adjust his trajectory in mid-air and head towards the spot left open, heÆd be able to avoid the attack.
More importantly, the Renamon would be in danger.
But there were ways of dealing with things like that, he knew.
He narrowed his eyes and watched for BeelzebumonÆs reaction.
Sure enough, he noticed the opening. He twisted his body like an acrobat and even seemed to lose his momentum in midair; some application of power, perhaps.
Regardless of the reason, he was heading towards Renamon, now. Belphemon quickly estimated his remaining hang time.
Given the power of the original jump, the original direction of movement, the time required for Belphemon to attack, the time required for that attack to take effect, and BeelzebumonÆs own actions in midair, the remaining time was approximatelyà
Three seconds?
No problem.
LEVEL: 666. SYSTEM: BELPHEGOR. CODE: SLOTH.
Two concentric Indigo circles drew themselves into existence at his feet. In the space between them, BelphemonÆs thoughts repeated themselves twice. At the bottom of the inner circle, two symbols appeared; the symbol representing Sloth and the symbol representing Mars. At the bottom of the circle, the words æCAUTION! PURGATORY LEVEL 4Æ was written.
BelphemonÆs animalistic smile widened.
ôSloth!ö He cried.
A wave of light expanded outward from the symbol, growing to tinge the whole area Indigo. And in that colored worldà
Everything stopped. The flames had stopped amidst their own flickering and Beelzebumon hung in the air. Around him, the other Digimon and their human partners had stopped mid-motion.
Time itself had stopped moving.
Except for Belphemon.

Just wait for Lucemon to use it in Devil's Advocate.
And Takato has the Crest of Sloth... since Guilmon was created by Takato (and therefore can't be that old), does that mean that Takato was originally Belphemon? Or did he somehow come across his powers?

Speaking of the Demon Lord's Crests, what happens if to them when a Demon Lord evolves beyond their Ultimate form?
Say Beelzebumon with the Crest of Gluttony evolves into Blast Mode, or Demon with the Crest of Wrath evolves into Super Ultimate. Would the Crest increase in power along with the Digimon?
And then there's Lucemon Satan Mode and Ogudomon, who have more than one crest.

Lucemon Satan Mode and Ogudomon can use multiple crests.
As for the others; yes, they usually keep their crests if they evolve. Their are exceptions; Belphemon Sleep Mode can't stop time, for example, but Beelzebumon and Demon both do.
As for it gettig stronger, well, that depends. Beelzebumon's Crest doesn't, because it doesn't rely on strength; Gluttony allows him to use the powers of Digimon he eats and depends purely on how many he has eaten. Granted, as Blast Mode is stronger, he could probably eat more Digimon with it, so I guess?
Demon's ability to make things die by his sheer awesome presence gets stronger as he does, though.

Yes, though Beelzebumon's power is fairly limited; he's loaded a lot of Digimon, but most of them were repeats (he still gains power from loading data, but loading the same type again and again doesn't give much benefit; he gets their techniqes the first time). He has Infermon, the Digimon that became Infermon, Leomon, and a few others.
Meanwhile, Belphemon is flat-out stronger then him and can stop time itself.
As or giving him a Crest, well, those things can't be given, per se. They have to be earned and their quite loyal to their masters. Lucemon got his Crest by fighting it, as did the others. They all won (which goes to show how badass Lucemon is, given the nature of his Crest), which is why they're Demon Lords.

Sloth = Slowing down things/Time Manipulation
Gluttony = Usage of loaded Digimon
Wrath might be power augmentation...
Greed might be stealing of moves/items/special abilites without loading the digimon?

I can't think of anything for Jealousy.
It's different in some pretty important ways. Rather then 'Abilities,' Greed steals 'Data.' At it's strongest, Barbamon can reduce everything around him to data and absorb it instantly; plants, trees, water, air, Digimon, etc.
The most obvious effect is that Barbamon might as well just never get tired, since he has a constant influx of energy.

Greed is generally the insatiable desire for material objects. Were I to make something up regarding it, I'd probably go with duplicating and allowing usage of the weapons and the like from other digimon, particularly the specialized ones to keep it from crossing the semi-canon abilities of Gluttony.
