2) Point, but the Ranma cast are pretty out of it, a vacant look on their eyes like from hypno COULD be a valid way to drawing them
That is not a way of drawing Ranma characters, that is a way of drawing hypnosis in doujinin general... a visual way to make it come across to the reader/viewer that they are under, so it is a blank look, or a eyes with circles in the retinas...

The only Ranma character that ever came across to me as drawn that way was sometimes Kodachi.

Now... more on topic...

@Prince Charon

I've known for quite some time that bonbori was not the right name... I've always been amazed how often I read it though...

That image is actually pretty good, except Akanes hair, which looks like purple seaweed. They need a Nabiki and Kasumi in it though. In fact, I think they look better than the live action cast...

I think the cosplayers doing Akane and Shampoo need to switch roles. Akane's face is too angular, Shampoo's too chubby.

Might have been tricked by the perspective, but the pic of Shampoo lying down staring upwards seemed fairly well-drawn.

Taking another look, the artist seems to have been experimenting with reflections in the eyes, there's something there at any rate

There's some serious hip inflation going on in those pics ...

Doesn't Kodachi school have a different uniform to the one she's wearing? It looks like someone went for a pallet swap of Furikans.

For the Ukyo and Shampoo one, about the only think I can think of that would get them both that excited is Akane mucking up real bad.

I can't believe that we've found a pic where I'm MORE than agreeing with NDF's sentiment. That ... fusion is just too weird. Get rid of it!!!! :flameon: :flameon:

Some concept used by Thrythlind, effectively people being turned into mythical beings if they fail to live up to a task.

To quote the man from his page:

My concept is a bit different. Basically put there's an extradimensional realm outside normal time and space where people can go questing for a miracle by facing various challenges. Failing the challenges often ends up with you getting transformed into something. The challenge in question here is Faun's Grove, where you have to challenge one of the residents (which realm defines as any supernatural female humans connect with sex that happen to be in the area at the same time as you) at which point they state the challenge as "Satisfy me." Ranma, like so many others, assumed that meant sex and freaked out...when he tried to protest and backpedal...that pretty much instantly failed the challenge (which didn't need to do with sex at all). Gogo has been around the Grove for sometime (she obviously challenged some cat girl) and is helping Ranma after the transformation caused her to fall. Now they could still leave the Grove, but if they stay and wait a mortal might successful face their challenge, which means they can get back to their own quests (still as Immortals though).

And yes, because the people who fail this challenge end up as supernatural creatures connected to passion, lust, sexuality or some similar purview, their libido does magnify sharply, but they still have free will and other interests.
I have no idea what the hell does it have to do with Ranma turning into a satyr-like creature.

All I can read is "Blah blah Blah, excuse to turn Ranma into a full time female, Blah blah. And she is horny now, in more ways then one." I can't help but think at times like this... Do people come up with things like this to spite Ranma for some reason then just convince themselves otherwise or what?

Honestly, maybe they're trying to shame Ranma for being who he is and seek to convert him, like Anthony Horowitz does to Bond in Trigger Mortis. Or they just want to bone his hot redhead side.

Interesting fact: I've never found myself attracted to Ranma's girl side, unless treated as a completely separate individual. Hot or not, still a dude, and it's kind of disgusting the ways some just want to turn girl!Ranma into a cumdumpster... and these are the (presumably) heterosexual men doing this to him.

I should thank people for answering my question ... but I really don't want to. What I'd like to do is punch the artist in the face repeatedly.

Now that is just mean. Don't punch the artist. Punch the guy that commissioned him. It would be more fitting.

Those images are 'meh'.

I can tell that it's supposed to be Ranma, yet another part of my mind says it has to be someone completely unrelated.
