To be truthful if someone pulled YOU from what you would consider true hevean into this/buffy world, would you forgive them?
If I was a thousand year old Shinigami captain with combat and command experience under my belt?
Yes.
I'd be a bit miffed that they'd not been arsed to dig up my coffin first, as that's a stupid oversight. They'd get a chewing out, sure, but I wouldn't go catatonic. It's not like I've never used a Gigai or gone Hollow hunting in the human world, now is it?
Then I'd run them into the ground to develop spiritual powers, send them against the Turok-Han with small unit tactics, Zanpakuto and Shinigami combat arts while I rape The First with Bankai. Unless some idiot had decided that my in-born Shinigami abilities should disappear for no reason at all, as though I were Ichigo borrowing Rukia's powers.
You'd have a point with Buffy from canon - she was pulled out of Heaven. This Buffy wasn't - she knew fine and well that SS wasn't heaven, but she'd made a place for herself and was happy there. She'd also recognized that she was a fighter, a survivor, and would never be satisfied with rolling over and giving up. Until the fanfic author needed her to, of course.
To rip her out and dump her in Season 6 and have her react exactly the same way as normal Buffy was laziness on the author's part, and having her pull the General Buffy act despite her <s>admittedly Shounen based</s> military experience was a total fumble.
I'd have preferred to see Season Six and Seven get totally reworked, with Amaya!Buffy at the helm of her own personal demon-slaying Gotei squad.
