Sorry to necro a topic, but I'm looking for a Spider-Man fic...

Set during Civil War, it was an alternate take on Pete's firing at the hands of JJJ. He storms into Jamesons office and chews him out for the firing, and for all the crap he gave Spidey... I think that last part happened.

Anyone know this story?

BND fic. When Peter took MephistoÆs deal, it was only because he knew he would find Mary-Jane again. He never thought heÆd find Felicia Hardy first.

Huh. Apparently The Shocker: Legit is still up on the internet, as indicated by TVTropes. All hope is not lost! In other news, I'm looking for that one Superman fic where Clark Kent (alternate universe version where he doesn't become Superman) comes to "our" universe through a rift in the dimension caused by the LHC, and learns about his "heritage". Also, there was this Bride of Doom fic... fun to read, but once you start taking a second look, the main character OC quickly becomes a Mary Sue.

making quite a few rude gestures, yelling at the top of his

People I liked kept recomending it, so I kept giving it 'another' chance. The whole elecromagneic wave, sonic wave confusion simply aggervated me enough that I stopped giving it more chances.

Bride of Doom fic may be Minion by Gevaisa.

Take the X-Men movie Toad and Mystique and have them accidentally find their way into the Evolution universe. It was written shortly after X2, and unfortunately abandoned while being a highly amusing story when it was starting to get really good (Movie Magneto seemed to be about to make an appearance...)

5/5. An excellent Shocker's fic in the realm of Spider-Man, the author wrote a good fic that's still ongoing (29 chapters, so it's plenty of reading time) and is interesting, manages to draw the reader in and provides a few laughs along the way (as well as a few digs at Shocker Legit).

Hey, does anyone know of a DC version of Shocker: Legit? As in, a minor character interacting with major villains/heroes and surviving through guile, luck and a healthy dose of well written author bullshitting? :p
