In a similar vein... Davros... The creator of the Darleks (I really hate when they are called Daleks, I'm old school Dr. Who).
Dalek is the correct spelling. I pity the fool who doesn't know his Doctor Who.

Dr. Horrible. He created the Eva's in order to impress Misato, and then later rule the world with Seele. Too bad he doesn't know about the real plan. :snigger:

My point actually was not so much the spelling, as how it was pronounced, mainly with the earlier doctor who incarnations.

No matter.

Dr. Herbert West

Fabius Bile

Mad Dok Grotsnik

Keith Richards (no, I have no idea how that would work, but it could be awesome)

How about Dr. Viktor von Frankenstein himself? :p
... Ummm...
You know, he's from a bygone era, right? As in died in what? the 17th century? Plus his re-animated flesh 'Creature' was something entirely impossible in my opinion. It teaches itself to read, write, cook, be polite, math, and various other discipline. In MONTHS. It goes from 'little better than a baby' to 'I'm an intelligent, sentient being, capable of being a highly cultured individual'. totaly shattered my sense of dis-belief.

On the other hand, if you create a more... original Frankenstein, this was a guy that figured out how to create life using 17th century technology. He created an intelligent creature capable of learning, as well as 'true' intelligence. He's a mother-f***ing genius!

I would argue this point, but since you're clearly missing it, I won't bother.

What, that it's crack?
Kinda knew that, but invading logic... well, I've a tendency to take things seriously. And literaly.

Oh, and for a real trip? Agatha Heterodyne.
Or a person with SRMD.(Science Related Mememtics Disorder)
Don't get it? Go read A Miracle of Science.

For those of you too lazy to read that, SRMD is nicknamed 'Mad Scientist Disease'. That give you an idea of what it is?

"What kind of evil dictator are you going to be if you don't even have any death rays!?" :snigger:

As for Dr. Frankenstein... he did actually care for his monster, if I remember the old, original movie. For that reason, I can see him trying to cut the Evangelions loose. They don't deserve to be locked away, their free will stolen from them, forced to fight for their lives for the sake of puny humans who imprison them. Can they, if they want? Yes, but give them the choice.

I can see him thinking that.

Well, if Dr. Frankenstein is not applicable, just use Fran Madaraki from Franken Fran.

Just don't complain if someone gets horribly disfigured and/or driven insane by questionable surgery/experimental cures. Fran looks for the most efficient ways out, not something as trivial as her <s>test subjects</s> patients' sanity.

Bah. Narbonic's Helen Narbon! Either Beta or her progenitor, if you you really want to be evil. Alternatively, there's Dave, sometime after the end, though he really seems to be more into computers, machinery, and generally raping the laws of physics. Of course, there's also Lupin Madblood, but he's mostly into robotics, not genetic engineering...

...though, both Girl Genius and A Miracle of Science are pretty good, but you can't bring both of them up without the third of the holy trinity of Mad Science webcomics. :sisi:

And I dunno about the movie, but the original Doctor Frankenstein from the book was a much less sympathetic character, who simply abandoned his creation because it was ugly, and automatically blamed it for any number of evils because of it...always hated that guy.

Fran would be awesome. :sisi:

If the EVAs fail humanity is toast. There is only one Doctor that could shoulder such responsibilities here, Victor von Doom.

Dr. Hojo? On the other hand, that would probably result in much, much, more angst...

Sinner Shader (Chrono Crusade)

With AT Fields being the light of the soul, the technical skills which she used to create the Clock of Life (which draws energy from a person's soul) and the Astral Organ (which amplified an Apostle's ability to control the source of power for all souls) would make her ideal for dealing with AT related matters. She also developed a device which could download information from the brain of a dead person, which could be interesting if used on any of the Angels whose bodies remained relatively intact.

Alternatively, have Shader replace Maya and see how Ritsuko reacts to having a catgirl engineer as an assistant.

Just for the record, Hojo is the one who developed the plans for almost all of Shinra's assault machinery, including the Proud Clod and the Gross Panzers in Midgard.

Heidegger and Scarlet just built the damn things based on Hojo's plans.

Bill Gates.
What do you MEAN the Eva Crashed!?!

Steve Jobs.
So the EVA can now Play Music, Video, Photo's, Games, and connect to the internet all on the Nations biggest 3g network provided by Sprint?

Professor Oak.
So all you have to do is throw this ball at the Angel and it is captured?

Doctor Jail Scaglietti. Would there even be Evas? I'm fairly sure the Numbers would be quite enough for the Angels on their own.

Though if you wanted to, well, Jail's a genius with both mechanical and biological sciences, so... well, he could handle the Evas, and probably have plenty of fun added on. He'd rather love his work, actually.

I don't think this has been suggested yet.

Dr. Kyusaku Natsume. Brilliant robotocist, and he even has experience with meshing biological and mechanical components.

His previous project was one Atsuko Natsume, AKA Nuku Nuku :snigger:
