SB banned me; I'm looking for a new forum...

Pretty much. He seems to imply that the subforum(in this case the index) has a higher incidence of "creeper" behaviour.
Of course this being vague as shit anything someone doesnt like could be classed as "creeper"
To be honest if the post had been worded better I doubt this would have gotten any attention other than "No. That idea is stupid and bad and you should feel bad."
Unfortunately it used the words slave and had the underage concept and so there went critical thinking.
A temp-ban seems excessive. A warning would have been more appropriate oh but there I go questioning mod decisions.
Hell come to think of it I dont think the mods even let us a chance to self police. It went all of several more posts before the ban hammer struck.

Edit: Actually the NSFW part doesnt fly either. The entire fucking site is NSFW.

Okay I think I've got the final things mostly ironed out.
All the forums have summeries, I've got the Rules thread up, the intro thread, I've made a guidelines thread to the NSFW section in the NSFW section, and the Video gaming section has been removed so the General Section will have more traffic.
Any last minute advice before I start PMing people who have been on the wrong side of an SB mod?

Advertise your forum by:
Making a TVtropes page for it.
Including it in your signature on Spacebattles (I have my archive in mine)
Get a darker skin. You're trying to steal business from spacebattles, some emulation will attract people who like spacebattles.
Try to attract some well known authors, thats a huge draw.
Etcetera.
Also, too many subsections can be a downside. It really comes down to taste, but I'd reccomend setting up a 'main page' like the index, and having the forums for individual franchises like naruto etc be subforums to it, or something. Having eighty individual sections can work, but Spacebattles is the most populous CRW forum on the net for a reason, its easier to label a story by its genre, than it is for people to search though sixteen sub forums for updates, when they can just see all their updates on the main page, as it were.
Some kind of sorting is required, but dividing by all the individual franchises ala TFF seems excessive to me.

The problem with extreme division of sections, is that if your forum isn't extremely populated, sections can just be empty warehouses where nothing happens. Sb's idea of two Sections, one for stories and one for discussions is great, except that its the opposite side of the spectrum. Fics get lost thousands of pages back and never read again. But there should be something between that, and 10 individual sections for each individual anime. I think.

From what he, Thanatos and S4 have said, I can come to no other conclusion than the mods of Sb actively dislike the people they are moderating, which is a bad sign. This wide band tarring of the brush where he flat out accuses everyone of being a furry pedophile who needs to be controlled unless they fart semen all over the forum makes me lose hope in humanity.
We could use more peoples at <a href='http://giantstompyrobots.forumotion.com/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Giant Stompy Robots</a> too, you know ? Psyckosama even made it as Quest friendly as he could since he relocated there to be able to continue Keeper Quest without any mods flipping their shit over the smallest of implication.
