Okay, so, first off, some background:
The original post.
The continuation.
Now, to sum it up: I read this fic last year, at some point around the middle of the year. It attracted me, but eventually I lost interest, mostly for the reasons listed on that post.
Then, about six months later, I wrote that 'review'.
The problem is... well, it was far too much time for me to probably judge it correctly, and I sorta became edgy, especially after reading that article from the second post.
So... here's my problem: should I reread the fic, in order to figure out just how off I was, despite the fact that I just CAN'T stand the way the author is guiding the fic... or should I stay with my possibly-wrongful biased opinions without true justice (while they ARE mostly correct, be aware that I haven't read the fic anymore since the first time I read... so my opinions are based only on memories)?
Give your reasons why, though.
As for how I feel about reading it, anyway... it's like shoving a knife through my stomach while cutting off my throat and legs.
