get Yachiru to marry him
the horror the unspeakable horror
I don't know, as of right now it seems like moderate horror to me. Now if they actually BRED, then you have unspeakable horror. Hmmm, Billy, Yachiru, Kenpachi, Mandy and Grim as an favorite aunt and uncle...

Jeff the spider is the most normal one of the family.

I really like the idea but some plotholes that you might want to take care of before you go off to write the story.

The first of them is simply that Grim is FAR older then Soul Society something that is æonlyÆ around two thousand years old. The second is that Grim isnÆt death to humanity; heÆs the Death of ALL entities in his reality much like the Death of Discworld novels was.

ThereÆs also the fact that none of the Shinigami from when Grim was younger would still be alive, they would long since died of old age if anything (and yes souls do age as shown by Yachiru) so neither Kiuske or Aizen could have any hand in his birth.

I also think that youÆre underestimating Mandy somewhat, donÆt forget that not only does she have control over much of Endsville (Scary Poppins) but sheÆs been shown scaring beings that shouldÆve been able to stomp her flat. And itÆs more then once been commented on that thereÆs something inhuman about herà

You might want to change this around somewhat so that itÆs the Underworld that creates the Shinigami and not the other way around.

Also when is this story taking place in Bleach?

Something that I find somewhat amusing is that Billy out of all people is probably the greatest threat to Aizen given how AizenÆs biggest advantage; his Zanpakuto would completely useless against Billy.

Well the easiest part to address is Soul Society versus the Grim Adventures Universe. If time moves differently in the two universes it's still possible that SS existed before Grim. As for Kiuske and Aizen, I said Grim's scythe was created in a twisted version of something like Kiuske's experiments, not that old sandal hat was actually involved. Although I might grant that SS ITSELF wasn't there yet, I'd argue that Shinigami were in one form or another. Maybe Grim's appointment as reaper was connected somehow to the long lost Shinigami King? Maybe the reaper that became king in SS helped create Grim's scythe for him.

In fact the fact that Grim refers to Dracula, who should be no older than 500, as his childhood hero makes the whole argument of ages rather strange. Plot holes like that are rarely dealt with in GAoB&M.

I see Grim's job here as being something even more than death. (Although other than the case of Billy and Mandy's Hamster I've never sen any allusion to him reaping anything but human souls and Eris' brainwashing teddybears.) He's not the just the Grim Reaper, he's the pointman and troubleshooter to keep the underworld seperate from the mortal world. Hence, why he'd have to stop Velma's spiders, or Nergal's foolishness as well as deal with reaping soulds and burying hollows. At least that's how I see it. :huh.:

As for Mandy, we all know she's anything but normal, but here I'm arguing that at least part of her supernatural-level powers are coming from exposure to Grim. Power that the Underwold did not intend for her to develop as they thought the seals on Grim's power would prevent such occurences. And I'm not underestimating her by any degree. I see Mandy and Velma both opening up some unholy hell on the Underworld in Grim's name when the extent of their crimes and exploitation becomes truly apparent, but I think there are things beyond ever Mandy's ability to handle that Grim has been sheilding Billy and her from.

As for when this happens in Bleach, that's up for discussion. I have no idea where to place it, quite honnestly. Before the series would work. So would any point after the SS arc, or even during the period Rukia was on Earth in the first arc. We don't really see what's going on in Soul Society at that point.

Although, truthfully, I don't see much interaction between Grim characters and Bleach characters unless it's on behalf of Mandy's investigations into Grim's true origins. Most of the Bleach stuff here comes from the Underworld tring to replicate Shinigami poowers and the emergence of the occasional Hollow on GA Earth.

Billy's powers could be something like the Hulk's. The angrier he is, the stronger, faster, and just plain better than before. Or you could give him a mindblowingly complex power so that if anyone but Billy had it, he could have conquered the world. I'm talking about something like an Omega level mutant power.

For some reason, I see Aizen using his shikai on Billy, only for Billy to go off on one of his "Destroy us ALL!" rants until Aizen was begging to be brougth in. Well assume he was smart enough not to try to attack Billy like that, anyway. You don't want to startle him and awaken Viking!Billy once more. ;)

No. Aizen's greatest bane isn't Billy. It's got to be ... Fred Fredburger.

"Yes!" "Yes!" "Yes!" "Yes!" *cough* I'll stop now.

Aizen's Bane

As he walked down the streets of the Underworld, Sosuke Aizen felt at peace. He was in an entirely new universe and was free to do whatever he wished due to the mission he'd recieved from the commander. He and two other captains, Captains Ichimaru and Hitsugaya had been sent here to figure out matters with the Underworld government. Their vice-captains had also been sent and each had decided to make the best of the free time they'd been given. Hinamori had dragged along Kira, Hitsugaya, and Matsumoto to see the sights and he'd sent Gin to scout out potential sources of information and troops. After all, one never knew when plans might go awry. It was always best to have contingency plans and backup.

"Yes."

'What the ...?'

How the hell did someone sneak up on him? Did his senses not work in this universe?

"Hello there," said Aizen courteously.

The bothersome creature who had managed to sneak up behind him looked like a squat green elephant. The thing somehow had rosy cheeks and horns which gave the impression of great naivety and stupidity.

"Can I help you?"

"... Nachos."

'Rude little thing,' thought Aizen before responding.

"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I can't help you. I'm very busy right now," with that, Aizen turned away and continued walking only to pause as he realized that the creature was following him. Thinking that the beast would go away eventually, Aizen continued to walk but at a quicker clip than before. But no matter how fast he walked, the creature kept pace.

"Look, I'm very busy so if I buy you those nachos or whatever they're called, will you leave me alone?"

"Yes."

"Right then. Let's go."

Upon arriving near the nearest convenience store, Aizen walked in to buy the accursed creature his food when the shopkeep threw him out.

"Stay the hell away from me Fred and you too Glasses boy."

'Ignorant little beast. When I become king, I'll be sure to execute him.'

The process continued on for the next seven stores until a desperate Aizen finally offered the shopkeeper five times the amount needed.

"Now then, Fred right? I have to get going now so I'll see you later."

"Yes."

Aizen began to walk away when he realized that the accursed creature was still following him.

"I've got to go now Fred."

"Yes."

Again, the same thing occurred repeatedly until a murderous Aizen began to plot to kill the damn thing. He'd been forced to leave his zanpakuto at the hotel he stayed at because his shikai had been unable to affect the demonic guard. 'An alleyway should suffice, but how should I get rid of the thing? Kidou is out, too flashy and noticeable. And I can't just snap his neck, the murderer would be obvious since just about every creature here has claws. Strangulation is ideal. Yes, that'll do.'

"Fred, could you come here just a moment please?"

"Yes."

Quicker than a snake, Aizen managed to grab a rod he'd seen scattered in the alley and began to choke the annoying demon.

"Yesyesyesyesyesyes..." squeaked Fred as his voice grew more and more tinny.

'Hurry up and die, I have to scout this place quickly.'

"Aizen-Taichou!" came a horrified voice.

Aizen swore to himself for being so careless and focused in his grisly act as he dropped the rod and his not yet deceased victim. He quickly turned and stared at the horrified faces of Hinamori Momo, Kira Izuru, and Matsumoto Rangiku, along with the taciturn face of Hitsugaya Toushiro.

For all his intelligence and cunning, the only thing Sousuke Aizen managed to say at that point was "Shit."

"...Yes."
------------------

Of course, you should keep in mind that Aizen would just hypnotize them all as soon as he got back his sword.

As entertaining as that may be, I don't know where he should go. I've thought about him but I can't decide who he should face. I can't use the arrancar because the story takes place before then, and I've already used clown face so he's out. I could use him again, but it just strikes me as wrong. I don't know anything about the bounto either.

I decided to use Mayuri again. Using Hoss against a hollow is overkill (despite the fact that there is no such thing).

Anyway, heeerrreee'sss Hoss!

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Kurotsuchi Mayuri was in his lab. This was not out of the ordinary for him and in fact, the lab actually gave him a chance to relax and unwind. Of course, the universe chose precisely that moment throw a bitch fit to piss him off.

A loud noise jerked Mayuri away from the experiment he had been engrossed in. He'd been trying to find someway to develop an organic shield that could be implanted in soldiers, giving extra protection to its user. In fact it was one of the few experiments that the commander of the Gotei 13 had ordered. Annoyed at being interrupted he considered yelling at Nemu to go sort out whatever mishap had occurred. Immediately afterwards, he remembered that Nemu had been sent to the living world to eliminate a few hollows that had gotten away from the rank and file Shinigami. In fact, with the exception of him and a few other scientists, the normally bustling laboratories of Division 12 were empty after many of its workers had decided to use their day off.

Grumbling, Captain Kurotsuchi went off to find the source of the disturbance and to yell at whatever buffoon had made the noise. Upon arrival, he found an unknown man chasing one of his scientists.

"Get away from me you lunatic!"

"Come back here, you demon! And face your destruction!"

"H-hey, it's not my fault that I'm so disfigured. Get away!" shouted a panicky scientist.

Mayuri quickly examined the intruder in order to see if the man would be a threat to him.

'Let's see, an eyepatch meaning a lack of depth perception, an incredible amount of bulk due to his muscles, that should mean that I'm faster, and a prosthetic right hand far inferior to my own modifications to my body.'

The man looked fairly short when in fact he was of average height and only looked that way due to his square frame and the obscene amount of muscles he had. Deciding to stop the little chase and gather some more information, Mayuri bellowed with as much authority he could muster "What is going on here?"

"C-captain. Thank god you're here. I was working on that universal transfer device when that t-thing popped up in a display of lights and started to threaten me."

After saying his piece, the scientist quickly fled the room. Kurotsuchi then realized that the man had probably been transfered by way of the experimental device and decided to dissect him to see how his body had survived the transfer and how he'd come here in the first place.

"You! Clown man. How'd you get me here?"

"I have no clue. But come with me and I'll certainly try my best to send you back to ... wherever you came from."

"Who do you think you are giving me orders like that. I'm Hoss Delgado, the world's premier spectral eliminator."

What in the name of science was that? Was it his homes' version of a shinigami? 'No matter, I'll figure it out when I get a hold of him.'

"I am ... a scientist, please come with me. I have many questions I must ask you before I can figure out a way to send you home."

"Hey hey hey, I'll be asking the questions around here bub. Who sent you to get me!? Talk damnit!"

'Vulgar man isn't he,' thought Mayuri before smoothly replying "I work for no one you know, you can just call him the old man if you wish and I most certainly didn't try to 'get' you."

Upon hearing this, Hoss' paranormally inclined and paronoid brain began to race furiously to figure out the who the old man might be and eventually came to a realization.

"The old man eh, you mean the old man of the mountain. Man, I knew I'd been making some waves in the paranormal world but I didn't think they'd sent one of his disciples. I guess Yog Sothoth sent you for that little bust I did a few weeks back. Well then, on golf clown boy!"

"That's en guard, and why are you telling me this?" asked a highly annoyed Mayuri.

"Don't you try to confuse me. Come on, let's dance!" screamed Hoss as his prosthetic hand began to shift into a chainsaw.

"Yeargh!" Hoss 'said' as he revved his blade and leapt towards the shinigami captain.

Immediately upon seeing the prosthetic change form, Mayuri immediately moved and began to think things such as 'I want to study that arm', and 'How interesting,' along with some other thoughts not relevant to the matter at hand such as 'How many licks does it take to reach the center of a tootsy roll pop?'

The shinigami captain used shunpo to move behind the man before jabbing his left hand to knock out the man when his opponent quickly turned and sliced his hand outward.

"Take that and some of this and that and this and that..." repeated Hoss while jerking his hand around in wide arcs.

After a few moments of heated combat, each man studied the other. Hoss broke the silence by saying "You're pretty tough, you know that?"

For his part Mayuri didn't even bother to give Hoss a response.

"I'm going to have to get tougher on you now. Here I go with the piece of resistance"

As he butchered his French, his chainsaw began to shift form yet again into a massive gun.

"Specral eliminator gun go!"

Mayuri could only blink as he saw a green flash and noted the sudden breeze in his chest area. He looked down only to see a clear hole in his body and immediately changed into his liquid form in order to keep himself alive (or dead as it were). As soon as his form stabilized, he made his way into a vent and vanished.

"Hmmph, I'll get you later clown boy. Mark my words."

Satisfied with his work Hoss left the lab in order to find that escaped scientist and to continue his work.

"Hey you, get back here!"

"W-what, aaahhh!"

XOXOXOXOXOXO

Not very good, and the ending and grammer sucked but hey, I'm still just starting out at writing.

Grim looked less than enthused as the horde of demonic spiders summoned by Velma's song carried off Jeff as Billy let out a horrified shreik and Irwin cowered at bit at the sight of the carnage before them.

"Ah, that's much better, don't you think, Grim?" Velma asked with a pleasant smile. It was clear for all to see that she didn't think anything wrong with bringing forth a demonic incursion to conquer the living world.

"You know you can't do 'dis, Velma. Coming after me was one t'ing, but a permanent invasion will have consequences," the Reaper responded in his usual Jamaican accent.

"Oh, don't be such a stick in the mud, Grimmy. this world could do a lot worse than me for an absolute ruler," Velma dismessed.

Images of Mandy, Fred Fredburger, and Nergal Sr all flashed through grim's mind as he conceded, "True enough. But I still can't let this happen. Not with Judge Spleen here watchin," before summoning his scythe to him.

"What are you babbling about, Bonehead?" Mandy demanded.

"'Dere is more the the job of Reaper 'den just collecting the souls of the dead. In fact, most souls move on just fine wit'out me. The main part of my job is to act as a gatekeeper," Grim responded sadly as he looked from Mandy, his first friend in centuries, to Velma, his first real friend ever.

"What do you mean, Grim?" Verlma asked, suddenly very apprehensive about the resigned look in the skeleton man's eye sockets.

"I wish I could tell you, Velma. But... company policy and all that. Like I said, there are dark place in me mind that people should not see. But either way, I have to stop this before it releases some'tin worse," Grim stated before his face grew cold with cocentration. He raised his Scythe with his right hand as an unnatural wind began to blow.

"What is this, yo?" Irwin asked as a cold chill began to run up and down his spine.

"Back to the pit with, you. All of you," Grim ordered as the blade of his Scythe began to glow varying shades of dreen similar to a dimensional votex. He struck the butt of the Scyth to the grous with a havy thud, causing what looked like gree lightning to branch out in every direction and engulf every supernatural spider in Endsville except for Velma herself and Jeff. the whole world seemed to glow green for a moment before it all ended with a flash and the spiders vanished.

"What? How in the heck did you do that?" Velma asked in shock. In all the years she had known Grim, both as a friend as a potential target, she had never seem him wield power so casually.

"Good question," Mandy agreed, her eyes uncharacteristically wide.

Grim rolled his eyes as he responded, "Come on now, Mandy. We've used de moon for bowling. A quck one way trip for spiders that aren't even supposed to be here ain't exactly hard."

"Okay, fine. But if you could have done that at any time, why didn't you before all this started?" Mandy demanded.

"Like I said, if it was just personal between mee and Velma I wouldn't care. But leaving unregistered portals to 'de Underworld open too long can have consequences. Cosequences you DON'T want to deal wit'," the Reaper explained.

"Like what?" Mandy asked with a raised eyebrow.

Grim's attempt to answer, whatever it may have been, was cut off as a sound akin to a shrieking tear resounded all over Endsville as a jagged black opening seemed to open in the sky far behind Grim. the Reaper turned to look at the tear as a giagantic black-claws hand poked out and a terrifying roar filled the air. "Like dat'," Grim said with a scowl.

"Whu-what is that, Grim?" Velma asked as she took an instinctive step back from the apparent tear in space time.

"A breech in de dimensional barriers that protect 'dis plane of existence," girm answered as he moved his Scythe into a defensive position when a second hand emerged as the black beast within seemed to begin to pull itself into Endsville to reveal a horrific bone-white mask on its face.

"I think she means the thing crawling out of there, idiot," Mandy supplied with her usual deadpan.

"Ah. 'Dat is a hollow. A lost soul that has been corrupted in a living world because it did not move on before it lost its ties to humanity and its human heart. Now it seeks to devour other souls to try to fill the gaping hole where its heart should be, unable to do so an contantly hungry. That particular one looks to be a Menos Grande class hollow. You kids better take Velma wit' you and take cover. 'Dis could get... messy," Grim ordered with a rare degree of competency.

Velma looked ill at the very concept of the creature Grim described, and the aura it was giving off certainly didn't make her feel any better about it, as she asked, "You're not seriously going to FIGHT that... thing are you? By yourself?"

"It's me job Velma. It's what de made me for," Grim responded resignedly. He turned a gave the half-spider/half-woman a sickly grin as he added, "aren't you glad not 'dat you didn't get time to eat me head and get stuck wit' 'dis? Now take 'de kids and get clear. I don't want anyone gettin' hurt while i send 'dis thing where it belongs.

Velma looked ready to argue at the insanity of the request as Mady grabbed her hand and Irwin's collor before dragging the pair off. "We'll talk about this later, Bonehead," she vowed with a deadly glare.

Grim looked grateful as he nodded at Mandy before trurning his attention to the amost fully emerged Menos Grande. "Alright, ugly. Let's see if I can send you packin' wit'out needin' me Shikai today," the Reaper called as he got ready to face off against the beast.

You do remember that the original concept for this was that Grim as a proto-reaper based on, and in collaboration with, Bleach Shinigami right? Having a shikai and a bankai is a natural progression of the concept.

Yes, but that doesn't mean he'd used Japanese terms.
