I think people are loosing site of the point here.. if icyboard has rules and regulations, and we break them the icyboard will just shut the place down. We are kinda playing in somebody else sandbox here, so we do sorta have to obey their rules.

No, they have a point- they don't want arbitrary rules applied in the name of "We has to, guize!" which is perfectly legitimate.

I want these kind of comments, because they help clarify everything- which leaves less wiggle room later.

My completely unwanted opinion: I think if you just concentrate on no trolling, no flaming, no spam, porn in it's proper place, the rest of it just takes care of itself. Keep it simple, you know? Most of the stuff some of those ridiculously specific rules are trying to curb would be taken care of already by just applying a 'don't be a dick' mentality, and the people who can't do that are usually doing one of those four things.
