Epsilon blinked when he saw something unusual after the sewing needle thrown by the shinobi hit the target. 'What the...?'

He moved a bit closer to where the fly guts were splattered on the wall and saw some of the strange data patterns that would not normally be seen on a domestic house fly. He could recognize a few pieces of code here and there but the rest all seemed like gibberish to him.

'May as well focus on what I can pick out. Just where have I seen these patterns before?' He ran over his mental database before stopping at a particular point. After cross-referencing that with the current view on the wall, he swore quietly under his breath before he walked away from the group and headed to a men's washroom.

After taking some proper precautions to ensure his privacy, he opened a link to his DITE peers. "Nagato... Asakura... we have a problem."

Nagato's reply came first. What is it?

"I found a bug that contains data patterns which match up to our limited records on the Macrospatial Quantum Cosmic Existence. It's safe to assume that we've been compromised."

... shit.

Although it was out of character for Asakura to swear, that seemed to be the only appropriate word that suited the situation.

"I'll need the two of you to help me work out some countermeasures ASAP. The last thing we want is for them to make an even bigger mess of things as they are now."

Understood.

Acknowledged.

"Epsilon out." After deactivating his security protocols to ensure that things didn't seem out of the ordinary, he stepped out of the bathroom and bumped into a girl wearing a dark green maid uniform.

"Okay, kids, this party's over. Hustle along now, you got classes to attend." David said sharply. After a few moments, no one had moved.

"JUMP TO IT! HUP HUP HUP HUP, LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT-RIGHT!" he roared suddenly, sending students scattering in controlled panic.

Michael finally walked off and headed for the directions he was given earlier.

After opening the door to the classroom the first thing Michael noticed was a silver haired man in a mask turn and give him what Mick believed was a glare.

" Can I help you?" Kakashi asked him. The ninja held a wierd orange book in one hand, and a kunai tightly in the other.

"My names Michael Tepes. These notes say I was supposed to be heading to this class. Not that it matters whether I'm here or not" Michael answered him after handing him his papers.

"Hm...don't be late again or I'll send you straight to Anko for afternoon detention. Now take a seat in the back" Kakashi answered him after pointing to an empty seat next to some blond with weird orange clothes.

"Since that's out of the way I would like one of you to pick up where we left off. To get the new guy up to speed." Kakashi told the rest of the group.

The class went on unremarkably, thought no new topics were given to let the new student catch up and get used to the pace set by the teacher. As soon as class ended, the door opened and Lethum entered the classroom.

"Zackariya-san, what do you need?" asked the porn-reading teacher.

"There was a package addresed to you, Hatake-sensei...it was marked urgent" With this, Lethality extended a hand over a desk, and a cloud of smoke heralded the appearence of an unremarkable carton box with an urgent stamp and a 'Hatake Kakashi' label.

"Your skill with Henge is impressive as always, Zackariya-san"

"Thank you very much, Hatake-sensei, but I'll be going now" Lethality said bowing.

Time: 5 PM...

Location: SOS-Dan clubroom

"What exactly are we doing here?" Eterna asked, slumped over an unnocopied desk.

"The question should be 'what is this club all about?'" AMM said, sitting opposite Eterna.

"Welcome to the club." A tall, brown haired boy said, with just a slight hint of sarcasm.

"Yes, Kyon, sarcasm noted." Zeni nodded, lazily taking in the room. The recent additions to the club were all trying to stay as close together as possible, fearing what may come through the locked door. Having just been kidnapped and confined in some strange clubroom, this was pretty standard behaviour.

"....is she gonna rape us?" Eterna asked, with every intention of sarcastic jest, raising her head just an inch off the table.

"Iyaan!" an auburn haired girl (in a standard issue kawaii ? maid costume) suddenly dropped the tea tray she was holding in a fit of nerves.

"Asahina-san!" The boy named Kyon rushed over to her aid. "Don't worry, nothing bad's going to happen to you, ok?" He said in an effort to comfort her.

"...right...." Eterna sighed, resting her chin back on the desk. "We're doomed..."

To put it in brief words... today sucked.

Sure, things started off normally with a quiet first day of school but while he had important work to do, the Sleeping Goddess just had to drag him into her club... whatever that is.

Although he had entertained the thought of using her power to put some measure of security and control over MQCE elements, he had no doubt that they would be able to counter any of his plans for Suzumiya before he could put them into motion.

So for now, both he and Nagato were being dragged by their arms to the newly claimed clubroom (which had originally been for the Literature Club or something like that). On a side note, Nagato had temporarily put her books away which is a clear indication that she's taking the threat that the Macrospatial Quantum Cosmic Existence presents very seriously.

It didn't take long to arrive at the clubroom and Haruhi entered in with her usual bang. "Ahoy, my grateful minions!" She roughly tossed both the Chinese male and the short haired girl inside.

"Since when were we your grateful minions?" mumbled a boy in short brown hair. "Why did you gather us all here?"

"I'll get to that in a sec but let me check my list here!" The eccentric young lady whipped out a piece of paper and started checking down a list of character types she wanted for her club. "Mikuru-chan as moe element; Yuki-chan as the silent type; Epsilon-san as..."

"...the foreigner, and AMM as the fighting expert! Now all we need is a gender misleading character and we'll be set!" exclaimed Haruhi. Whatever she was going to say afterwards was interrupted by Lethality entering the clubroom.

"Oh I'm sorry, are you members of the Literary club? The Literature department is preparing a field trip with a teacher and I came to inform the members" stated the ninja. Of course, the bearer of school news was oblivious to the silence that had settled when upon entrance...or the fixed stare on the traditional unisex shinobi clothes on the ninja.

"If you want to participate, the inscription sheets will be near the entrance since tomorrow and will stay there for two weeks" finished the shinobi and turned to leave. Or at least tried to.

Meantime, Mr Abramczyk had manged to dry out his Cadet Corps uniform, and was now marching along the corridors to get to one of the classrooms, where some of the carryovers from the previous year were taking their tests to advance to the next level in their training. With each step he took, his head bobbed up over the windowsills of the classrooms, and he was able to see inside.

The shinobi noticed the glint in the girl's golden eyes. The glint was not as paralyzing as one who would also reek of killer intent but it was still there. "Perfect..."

Lethality blinked. "Um... what?"

"Now we have a full and complete roster for our club!"

"What club is it anyway, oh mighty leader?" asked the same boy with the short brown hair in a weary tone.

Before Haruhi could speak, the shinobi tried to sneak away but the Sleeping Goddess grabbed the person's wrist to prevent escape. 'Kawarimi no Jutsu!!'

Unfortunately for the ninja, the technique failed to work. 'What?! How... I can still feel my chakra but it's not responding!! What's going on?!?'

"Sit!!" Lethality simply sat down on a chair, mindboggled on what just happened.

Epsilon could sympathize with the shinobi. 'And so the normality field strikes again...' At this rate, the MQCE could establish bugs and observation elements before he and Nagato can develop and implement effective countermeasures.

'Looks like it's up to you, Asakura-san.'

Michael walked down the hall going past the SOS club room without even looking up as he was again looking through his notes.

"Hm is it time to finally go home for the day or are club sign ups going on. Not that I really want to join, but that's part of why I came to this miserable place. All the same..where are the club sign ups anyway?" Michael asked himself.

Michael then pulls out his phone and begins dialing a particular phone number. After several rings someone finally picks up the other end.

"Hey Makoto I think I might get home a little late.. Did we get that lease yet?" Michael asked.

"Hey, Laddie!" Mr Abramczyk called out, as he overheard what the young man who had passed him said. "Are ye looking for club sign-ups?" he asked, beckoning with a finger.

Michael ceased his phone call and walked on over to Mr. Abramczyk.

"Very much so infact. I had notes telling me where everything is but like I expected they were trashed by all the nonsense on the way to school." Michael informed him after handing the teacher the measly incomplete scraps of what was left of his paper.

"The clubs I wanted to join were the Martial Arts club, some ninja thing, Nerv, and something for Kansai I can't quite remember. Which really doesn't surprise me at all. Any clubs you think might be worthwhile? " Michael asked with a hint of scepticism.

" Unfortunately I also missed several classes because no-one could be bothered to tell me where they were. I need a new map and list of classes if possible. I was able to find Kakashi but am currently unable to locate a Misato Katsuragi, and Onsen Mark.

"Hmm.... Which of these clubs seem more for my suits?" asked the newly clothed Unknown to himself as he sat in the cafeteria.

"'NERV?' sounds like some weird stuff. Although I've seen more than my fair share. Also that Ms. Katsuragi is something else. Martial Arts? I have some skills... maybe I should join. Huh? Alchemy Club? Sounds interesting.... where's that located? Hmm.... building 2, room 7. Club leader: Roy Mustang... sounds like a cowboy more than an alchemist. Nin-jutsu club.... nah, I hear Kakashi's a pain in the keister. I think I'll go for this Alchemy Club for the time being."

With the decision being made, Unknown gathered his belongings and high-tailed it to The Second Building of TFF Academy.

"All right, son, let me handle this." Mr Abramczyk said, examining the notes.

"Hmm.... I see. Well, this shouldn't be too hard. You might want a pencil and some paper here." he remarked, and then began to list the locations of the clubrooms, and the phone numbers for the various club leaders.

"Incidently, I am also the commander-in-chief of the Academy Cadet Corps. If you're interested, we're giving a demonstration in about 20 minutes."

Arriving at the classroom, he looked down the hall and saw three students, one with short brown hair, one with long reddish-brown hair, and one with medium length blue hair, enter another classroom.

"Huh? Room... 13.... 'NERV'... huh, go figure" said the semi-hockey nut as he opened the door to the Alchemy Club.

Almost immediately, he was almost turned into human paste as boulders came shooting up from the ground and leveled a good 35 targets.

"Well done, Alex. You've stayed in training even after all this time" said a dark haired man wearing some gloves.

"Are you nuts?!? He almost killed that kid over there!" yelled a smaller, blonde haired boy with a metallic arm, while wearing a black tank top and black leather pants.

"So sorry about that. Who are you?" said the black haired man.

"Unknown Common, I decided that this club would be good for me to join. Who is everyone?" said the other blonde of the group.

"I'm group's leader: Roy Mustang. The man that you saw doing that transmutation is Alex Armstrong. The shrimp over there is Edward Elric" said the taller man.

"Hey! Don't call me puny you snob nosed sonuva..."

"Now, now Ed. Watch your language in the building", said a slim, blonde haired woman who was carrying a firearm.

"....Right.... Sorry, Riza. Anyway, can he do any alchemy?" asked the shorter man.

Unknown threw down a pre-made transmutation circle onto the floor and transmuted a gatling gun from the materials.

"I guess that would seal his entry, then." said Alex as the others looked on in fascination as Unknown mounted the gun and laid waste to 15 targets.

" Hm......thanks for the notes. I'll see if I can manage to see your demonstration later. Right now according to the notes you gave me NERV should be just starting. All though I doubt I'll show up on time no matter what I do.." Michael said after taking the re-organized notes and placing them in his book.

"If I have time left after that, and seeing Kakashi again I'll try to stop by. Unfortunately I'll probably disappoint even if I get the chance to show up. Good luck though..." Michael replied as he rushed to make the NERV meeting.

" With my rotten luck I'll have to resort to dopplegangers if I expect to make it to all these signups.." Michael muttered to himself as he barely made his way into NERV's club room.

Leaving the clubroom of the Literature Club, which happens to be the headquarters of the the SOS brigade the shinobi was now a member of, Lethality decided that the director was to be informed of the situation.

Passing by a fairly disgruntled student who was hurrying to get somewhere, Lethality suddenly used chakra to speed up, soon becoming a blur, and suddenly stopping on the border of a stadium-sized field filled with low hills, wooden dummies, metallic dummies, rocks of all sizes and scatered trees.

Raising one hand, he concentrated on the very familiar energy flows being moulded. In an instant, hydrogen from several mililitters from the water in the air replaced a single spec of dirt, before poofing into radioactive material, resulting in a chain reaction that disraveled the spiritual-physical matrix and placed low mass Hydrogen where high temperature Uranium had been. The result? A explosion, just like those inside fusion reactors, only smaller.

Lethality frowned. The technique was a personal creation, born from weeks of non-stop practice and months of training and teorical studies to refine it. It had resulted in exceptional knowledge and experince on chakra manipulation, to the point where the three basic ninja jutsu were as natural as thinking or feeling. And it had failed. Several times.

Suzumiya Haruhi was worth watching, to see if it was. Though the brown haired boy should be informed. All of the other people in the room had diplayed several degrees of training and combat expertise, so that left the boy as a vulnerable target if anything happened. And something would, as it always did.

Remembering the director and message to be delivered, the ninja dissapeared from the test range in a swirl of leaves, leaving only a blackened crater behind.

As Mr David Abramczyk walked past the Literature Clubs' room, something made him pause. Miss Campbell stood besie him as he cocked his head to one side. "Something wrong?"

"Possibly....." David replied, as he reached for the door handle and looked inside the clubroom.

"'Ello, 'Ello, 'Ello, what 'ave we goin' on 'ere, then?" he said, using the dreaded 'Dixon of Dock Green' voice.

"Now... you ready to take me on?" said Ed, as he clapped his hands a pulled a spear from the ground.

"This should be fun", said Unknown as he threw down another pre-made transmutation circle and pulled out his own spear.

The two blonde boys would be duking it out for a good 45 minutes, much to the surprise of everyone excluding the combatants.

After that was finished and the facility was cleaned up, Unknown walked out of the club room and immediately smacked himself into another person.

"Watch where you're going, dummkopf!" said a young woman with red hair. Unknown immediately was reminded of her as he saw her entering the NERV club room.

"Asuka, don't agitate the poor kid, he just did it on accident" said the male to her immdiate right.

"He still ran into me, and thus he should be punished", said Asuka as she began to crack her knuckles and wind up a ferocious punch.

Unknown stood ready, but the punch never came as a ball of fire whizzed by both his and the young woman's heads.

"Leave him alone, Ms. Sohryu. He never knew about it." said Roy as he fiddled with another fireball.

Asuka humphed and walked back to the first building.

"Sorry about that, she's just a little short-tempered", said the young man.

"Understandable, I guess. Oh, sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Unknown Common, what are your names?" said the blonde.

"I'm Shinji Ikari and this is Rei Ayanami. I think I remember seeing you in physics, now that I think about it", said the brown haired male.

"You know, I do remember seeing you, Rei and Asuka there as well. Nice to meet you, but I think we need to head back to the dorms", said Unknown.

With short introductions between Unknown and Rei, the trio found Asuka and walked in tandem back to their respective dormatories.

Michael noticed Unknown talking to Shinji and the others for a bit before walking off and ignoring him. Not that Asuka had treated him much better during the club meeting of course.

"Hm...not that I'm surprised. What a rotten first day this has turned out to be." Michael muttered to himself as he began walking off. His duplicate had managed to make it to see Kakashi, but Michael still needed some time before he and his duplicate could assimilate their combined information.

Afterwards Michael and his copy split up again. The copy walked around exploring the compound while the original began to exit the area.

" I guess I should meet up with Makoto to see if we got the lease." Michael thought out loud as he started to walk home.

"'Ello, 'Ello, 'Ello, what 'ave we goin' on 'ere, then?" Abramczyk-sensei said, using the dreaded 'Dixon of Dock Green' voice, putting a pose reminiscent of Henry VIII but with an option on Henry IX and Henry V as well.

It was quite impressive for a moment before a certain brunette pushed past him, sending him flying into Miss Campbell.

"OK CLUB! LISTEN UP!" Suzumiya Haruhi boomed, slamming a large box on the table in the middle of the room, scattering paper and tea things all over the floor. "The official K-Fight starts in a few more minutes and you're all going to make sure the SOS-dan gets the bonus club funds awarded!"

"What?" AMM spluttered his tea.

"What is that, exactly?" Eterna asked, suspicious.

"Well, that answers where she dissapeared to..." Zeni said aside to Epsilon who shrugged nonchalantly.

"God, you people are so slow." Haruhi sighed. "The K-Fight is..."

"Anou....umm....Direct Anouncement from the Student Council." A female voice said over the PA. "Umm...is this thing on?"

There was a brief whispering and scuffling over the PA while the rather reluctant SOS-dan members gave each other exasperated looks.

"Cough...yes, this is a direct announcement regarding the new K-Fight event." The voice on the PA continued. "Umm...Narusegawa-sempai, am I doing this right?"

Further scuffling and whispering....

More incredulous looks...

SMASH....

A group of people in ninja costumes crashed through the window. Kunais and other ninja equipment of various disturbing descriptions started hitting EVERYTHING in the room except for the living.

"...yes, a prize of 100 times the normal funding is to be awarded to the club that could acknowledge themselves as the strongest. Any method is allowed as long as it doesn't result in death. Thank you. Have a nice day." The PA continued.

"Why does it seem like we're the last to know?" Zeni asked aside as shurikens zipped through the air all around him.

"Because a couple of ameteur ninjas decided to get the jump on us, perhaps?" Epsilon shrugged, watching as the ninjas in the back tried to perform a number of ninja seals.

"What? I can't activate my seal!" One of the ninjas cried.

"Me neither!" Another shouted.

"Get them, my minions! And get me that prize money while you're at it!" Haruhi shouted, pointing out at the assembled n00b ninjas as thousands of sharp metallic objects traced an outline of her on the wall behind her.

"....and I thought I would have a normal life here...." Zeni sighed, noticing that the box Haruhi had carried in had everything from nailed bats to meat cleavers.

BOOOM....

"that would be...." AMM started.

"The Alchemy club." Zeni sighed with extreme disgust. "Blowing up the computer ken next door, no doubt." He said as a number of burning computers burst through the wall.

AMM looked around at his peers before valiantly venturing, "Shall we?"

Grabbing a tiny walkie-talkie, Colonel Abramczyk shouted "White King to all Chessmen. Commence Operation Fisher!"

Around the campus, members of the Academy Cadet Corps scrambled, getting assorted pieces of military equipment. The piece de resistance of the Corps, a WW2 Churchill tank, rumbled onto the playing fields, where one of the Kendo clubs was fighting the Junior High's 1st XV Rugby team.

Michael leapt high and to the left right seconds before this guy with blue hair slammed his fist into the pavement where he was standing leaving behind a large crater.

" Damn it....why the hell are you after me?! I don't recall signing up for any sort of fight thing! And who the hell are you anyway?" Michael replied.

" Doesn't matter! I heard you were part of that ninja club and NERV! So that makes you a target!" Kusanagi replied as he charged forward flaming fist first straight towards Michael.

Michael then used a spell to teleport to the schools roof just before Kusanagi could connect.

"I knew I'd probably regret going to this nuthouse.." Michael muttered to himself. He then drew several magical circles on the roof for both offensive and defensive affects.

Michael didn't know if the martial artists in this area would be able to jump up here but he was preparing a few lightning spells just in case.

'Okay... what gives with an event of this magnitude on DAY ONE?!?'

The Chinese youth weaved in and out of the scrambling bodies in the confined room and managed to make it outside to the hallway. Before he could get a moment to think, he had to leap out of the way to avoid a blue energy discharge which scorched the floor tiles just inches away.

"Drat! Let's try this again. Freeze Arrow!!"

He recognized the voice as female but didn't have enough time to register her identity as he made a break for it. He normally would have been able to counter the spell with his own magical abilities but there were severe elements in the atmosphere that prevented him from running his own spells smoothly. In fact, any attempt on his part to cast a spell had a serious chance of backfiring.

And no, this wasn't solely caused by Haruhi's field. If anything, he would have to say that the MQCE is actively sabotaging his plans and messing up his ability. Judging from what he has observed, it seemed that only DITE agents were being targeted in this specific manner.

So he was somewhat restricted in the magical department but he still had his wits, his physical combat skills and his Servant.

Speaking of Servant, he may as well use her now. "Glory!!"

"Ah Hell.... that's no fun", said Ed as he sent a multitude of people flying.

"Um, I'd have to agree man. However, this is getting ridiculous", said Unknown as he threw down 2 pre-made circles, transmuted them into a gating gun and a brick wall and prepared to lay waste to some unforgiving foes.

However, before he could mount the gun, Riza was on the ball and began to give supression fire for Alex and Roy.

"Well, that's one way to benefit your team", said Ed as he prepared to make a sword.

He clasped his hands and placed them onto the ground. When he pulled up he had.... a dagger, no sword, no spear. Only a daggar.

"What the hell is going on?!?", asked the younger blonde.

"Oh shi.... normality field... that crazy broad is at it again. Our alchemy is now useless. Do you know martial arts?", said Unknown.

Ed looked at Unknown like he had three heads before moving to a computer ken and began to lay waste.

"*sigh* That would be a 'yes", said the slightly older blonde ad he made a mad dash for his Dormatory, with two ninjas, a rather large comp. ken, and a few poorly made infiltary men on his tail.
