I'm white_knight_leo. At present, the only multiplayer game I have up is Audiosurf.

Currently I have F:NV and Orcs Must Die! installed. I will accept friend requests from TFFers.

If a game has its own matchmaking ability then it's a matter of joining the same server/session/whatever. But if you want to just straight into a game from outside without contacting them somehow IRL then yes, you're going to need to be Steam friends.

Fun fact, if you aren't friended to someone, you don't know what games they have or what they're playing, if you don't know that, you can't co-op without outsourcing to random people who happen to be on at the time.

Kinda makes being in the same group pointless.

I do not want to risk going all Xbox Live now that I'm actually starting to expand my Steam Game collection.

EDIT: I have been ninja'd retroactively.

Damn me for being so scatter brained.
