More about the Slums:
The bartender is actualy one of the first people to come to TFF besides Hawk. When Hawk started to have problems with certain rowdy members of TFF, he went to the Bartender and asked him for help. The Bartender sugested a home for the unruley people, the dregs of TFF that Hawk didn't want to deal with, and Hawk pulled on his considerable power and brought forth a place for them with the Bartender in charge. The Bartender was Hawks first and last Mod. 'Cuase you see, the mod got a little to big for his britches and out right challenged Hawk to a fight. Hawk won but he didn't win with out giving something up in the process. While the Bartender was a mod he had created thirty special cards that would give the owner of he card special privligious that he gave to some of his favorite patrons. They include but are not limited to:

1)Half off on rooms in Zaraki's
2)The ability to turn off any camera in the Slums for up to thirty minutes, unless the Bartender wanted otherwise.
3)Resistance to reality changing abilities and items.
4)Free drinks in the bar.
5)Time with any of the strippers that worked Zaraki's for free, if they would have you.

The cards ownership is blood in-blood out. There are curently only three of the original card owners left:
Hulk
Zaraki Kenpachi
Kratos

Though some of the cards have found there way into the hands of other owners most have been lost. The new holders of cards are:

Momochi Zabuza
Marv
Leonidas the king of Spartans
Beowolf
Frank Castle
She-Hulk
Wolverine
Yachiru
Me

I found mine after I watched a fight between a card owner and a chalanger. The chalanger lost but was able to harm the owner enough that I could take him down with very little trouble.

A room at Zaraki's usualy costs three Beserker teeth a night. a Beserker tooth is the highest form of money in the Slums, nad can fetch about five hundred dollars in exchange.

The people of the Slums(who from now on will be adressed as Slummers) have an intence rivalry with people of higher class than them. Lately there has been talk of revolt by several Slummers and has grown in popularit among the weaker and a few of the stronger Slummers.

So thoughts?

You don't have to be from the TFF world. You can cross over from another world, appear through a warp/rift/whatever. My own character has only been a resident of TFF for a few months, but he was born in the Slayers universe (how he came to be in TFF is a mystery even to me at this point...)
Good, because otherwise I'd be screwed. My character isn't even technically from an anime world (I think...).

Also, the Slums would be fun if set up like that.

Well, if everyone agrees with it, then ok, I suppose...

I personally disagree. We've had players who only post once a week at most, and even players who suddenly dropped out with no explanations whatsoever, for example NKVD and Os. Such a system would end up holding everyone else up if the player in turn for whatever reason doesn't post. And considering the number of players we've got in X-Mas Caper, that's not going to be pretty.
I know I'm a bit late, but I'm agreeing with what Zeni said.

That and finals are coming up, like Zi said. I may be in a better position now compared to last semester, but I still have what amounts to a hundred or so pages of various reports, codes, and sites to finish. Also AT&T Broadband is a pain to use.

*pops head in*

At a risk of sounding like a sheep, I agree with most of the above.

...

Yeah, I should contribute more.

Had an idea in my head that sorta involves you LL. Was thinkin even if the TFF itself gets restored, was thinking of having the rest of the world reduced back to the middle ages. With gun's being scarce and ammo all but gone.

Could have me and Motoko eventually traveling this 'new world' hunting for whatever new treasures/magic items may have been created in all this mess.

Here's where you come in..was thinking you could be brought back as a Mazoku working under Xellos. With your first assignment being to harrass us in much the same way Xellos would mess with Lina and her group.

Sound good?
Let me get back to you on that. Since I'm going into the final stretch of my college life (which equates to approximately one test per day for the next three weeks), I may not be as active in the next RP.

The way I see my character now, I won't become a real mazoku, but that doesn't mean I can't go around annoying you for a while if you'd like. ^_^

Heh I hear ya. Just figured it might be fun if Xellos actually gave ya a shot, like you worked under him or something. Figured you might get a kick out of that, mazoku or not.

Was really out to make our own parallel version of Slayers on Earth. With me filling in the Lina role, Motoko filling in the Gourry role, and you the Xellos role.

All the same the few times you are able to show up would be cool. I mean Xellos usually showed up to annoy them and not that much when they needed him right?

But ya I wouldn't mind somebody havin Xellos to show up to interfere in an adventure or two every now and then.

You know, I imagine Xellos would be a lot like a Jiraiya-style teacher.

"Go do such-and-such by yourself, then come find me when you're finished."

Except Xellos would be even more vague about what you were supposed to do and would leave out the more fatal parts of the job...

Oh, and don't forget that Shampoo would have to be along for the ride, as well.

But let's finish up Halloween Havoc first, then we can figure out the next bit.

Heh alright. Should be fun all the same. Long as ya don't turn Shampoo into Naga or anything.

On that note...hm...maybe Kodachi? I dunno..

But ya Xellos might do whichever might be more fun for him.

The Highgrounds:

The Highgrounds are the almost exact oposite of the Slums. They are where the high class members live. Here they have churches to the likes of Fosfor, Hawk, Genocide Heart, and other great writers of TFF. Even though the people here do not have the sheer brutality of the Slummers they have the help of clans and people that have lived long enough to perfect there techniques and abilities that can be passed down tp the younger generations, and as such have changed to be some of the most beautiful and deadly styles and abilities in the known worlds. They practice large scale strategy often, with small scale being less than necesary in there opinion, but still taught and practiced.

Hmm...you know this could also add a political element to the TFFA RPGs not real world politics but in game stuff. Like growing tension between the diferent parts of the city. People wanting TFF to change it's ways. Peace treaties falling apart stuff like that.

Real world politics suck. Mostly because Politicians are functionally retarded.

But If done right in an RP it can be pretty cool.

I vote for the very silly candidate.

Malcolm Peter Brian Telescope Adrian Umbrella Stand Jasper Wednesday (pops mouth twice) Stoatgobbler John Raw Vegetable (sound effect of horse whinnying) Arthur Norman Michael (blows squeaker) Featherstone Smith (blows whistle) Northgot Edwards Harris (fires pistol, then 'whoop') Mason (chuff-chuff-chuff) Frampton Jones Fruitbat Gilbert (sings) 'We'll keep a welcome in the' (three shots, stops singing) Williams If I Could Walk That Way Jenkin (squeaker) Tiger-drawers Pratt Thompson (sings) 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' Darcy Carter (horn) Pussycat 'Don't Sleep In The Subway' Barton Mainwaring (hoot, 'whoop') Smith.

That was the silly candidate. I'm voting for the very silly candidate. But feel free to vote for the other if you wish.

Hey would I be allowed to have a "Respawn Satallite"?, it wouldn't work on anyone but my character, and would drop him off in a random spot, in a general radius of around X Square miles. And of course would be destructible so it could get wrecked to the point of uselessness.

Also, all of my votes go to the Absurd Party's Candidate.

Sure thing I changed it so you were having the cleaver.

But ya I think gun's should be a lot rarer. Sure TFF recovered but I was kinda liking the idea of the rest of the world being very, very short on ammo.
