Suikoden V fic, what if the Prince was more vicious and had more ambition than the one we know, suppose he had accepted Barrows' offer that night but instead of being betrayed and killed by Barrows he does so first and launches a campaign to regain Falena, only this time, it'll be a his Kingdom, not his sister's Queendom.
Don't know why but...Suikoden V idea, after the match in the tournament between the Prince and Shoon, Lymsleia asks her brother why he is fighting if that will mean that he will be the one to marry her, he responds that it was just an exhibition match, but what if the Prince had found away around the rules pertaining to who ruled the country and had decided to enter the tournament himself in disguise to win his own sister's hand in marriage. How would that be for a shock, the mysterious figure wins the tournament, only to unmask himself as the Prince.

Fearing that their control over their subordinates is in jeapody when they learns of the transgressions of Ichigo and company during the rescue Orihime arc, Soul Society sets up a sqaud to ensure that their authority is never questioned. By opening a gate to Hell, they recruit some of the most powerful condemned beings to do their bidding. On the run, Ichigo and company must find a way to fight back, or become a 'demonstration' to those that question Soul Society's might. This might even mean teaming up with Captain Aizen and the surviving Arrancars. Darkfic.

During this time of incredable hardship, they find themselves standing in awe at the life brigging propertyies of the new "Red rain" only to recoil silently in horror as they learn the clouds are filled with evaporated LCL, and that it is their former friends and love ones raining down upon them.
