Actually, to clarify, there IS a Japanese term for 'one who masturbates too much', and yes, it's used as an insult, because it implies that the insulted is so unmanly he can't even get a girl to have sex with him.

I know few in this forum are as rabid fans of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k as I am, but I need to rec this story ...

Why isn't this C2 of works that the authors of TFF have put up on Fanfiction.net? Few of the fics on here are from the numerous authors that are members here.
If our name is going to be on a group, shouldn't it be of the work that goes through here. Not just the fics that we happen to like.

Well, it's like this. This forum isn't an exclusive club. It's really very easy to join, so limiting the C2 to members wouldn't make much sense.
Besides, there are lots of members here that aren't authors, so this C2 also represents their general taste and appreciation of fan literature. That's why particular fics will be removed if enough members ask.
In any case, if authors here want to include their works in the C2, all they have to do is be nominated, by themselves or others.

The forum is actually a semi-inclusive club. Not many people are going to find it without references from authors who post links here to their own stories. The people who would read those authors are only those interested in either that particular series or the setup that the author has created.
As for a lot of members not being authors...why not. This forum is created as a sounding board for new ideas and stories. Hell, the most vocal people here are the one's who either write stories or post comments on said stories or ideas.
That and I never said it was limited to members. I stated that it should just have stories that members have posted in the preview section. These posts are the one's that we edit and commented on and best show what our stances are here. If it is going to have our name on it, it is going to be assumed that these are stories that have been reviewed and helped on by the members of this forum.
My main problem with this is the fact that this C2 is of stories we "recommend" other to read. Not a list of stories that the members of this forum have put out since its inception by Hawk. If there was something about the fact that this is what we recommend others to read for one-stop quality works, then that would be different. But, nothing of the sort is mentioned.

And the stories in the C2 may not have been helped on, but they've all been reviewed. Someone here must have read it and recommended it for it to be present. If you have a problem with any particular story then contest its inclusion.

You do realize that I add any fic that passes through here, right? I don't judge them because there are some chances that I haven't read it. If you make a recommendation, it'll automatically be accepted.
If it sucks, then people can always ask me to remove it. So don't be scared, make a contribution if you feel like it should be there.
