So you've read the prompts, written the stories, maybe won an award (I swear, I'll have the next two done ASAP. *glares at the judges*), and you want to get a look at the competition, or maybe mock the other writers?

Then, welcome, to the Iron Fic Smacktalk Arena! A new branch of TFF Stadium, the smacktalk room used to be the announcers box, but after the last riot wrecked the place, the power that is (ME!) decided to open it up to everyone. Cheaper than replacing the door!

So come and discuss the Iron Fic challenges and your work. Remember that questions about the contest is better off in the actual Iron Fic thread, and that <s>complaints</s> <s>bitching</s> <s>rage</s> A QUESTION about the judging is better off in the Awards thread.

This is for participants to talk with one another, look for betas, dissect the prompts and talk down to one another!

Participating in the Iron Fic contest is an exercise in humility, given who participated in both IF4 and IF5.

Yeah Grunt's entry for IF5 was pretty amazing... least I think it was Grunt's.


I had fun with IF5. Though I'm eager to see what my score was.

I was frustrated slightly by the awesomeness of the F/SN fics that came down the line after mine.

But then I remembered that you're all just women and children! And that was the appropriate perspective for all such internet pursuits.
