FULL POWER MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION:

Archer: Nanoha "SHOOOOOTO!" Takamachi.

Assassin: Well, the rules are the rules. One of the Hassans :/

Berserker: Velka-Knight Vita. Don't tell me her "GRR GRR CANNOT DIE BLIND RAGE CONSUMES ME AS I SQUISH YOU" doesn't count.

Caster: Hayate "Diabolic Emission" Yagami

Lancer: Fate "Bardiche" Testarossa

Rider: Vice "Storm Raider" Granscenic.

Saber: Velka-Knight Signum

Rocks Fall. Everybody shoots rocks.

...Kefka?

*Imagines the destruction*

I dunno....I think Kefka was BORN insane. So would he still count?

Random thought: Matou Sakura summons Caster!Dark Schneider.? Think about it.
Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies, Dark Schneider Laughs His Ass Off.

"Sakura? I need that prana.... so, RAPE-TIME!" - Don't tell me he wouldn't do it, I got the damn series standing next to me and Darsh -repeatedly- seduces clearly unwilling women (at least, in the beginning they are ...)

Anyway, my opinions:

Archer: Dizzy from Guilty Gear. Why? Simple: Dizzy herself is fairly weak, aside from ungodly high endurance (she did survive a 20k feet fall off the Jellyfish), whereas her wings and tail make up her entire offense. And her trademark attacks are both long range.

Granted, Undine and Necro are very, very broken Noble Phantasms...

Assassin: Jaffar from Fire Emblem. Aside from him being admittedly inspired heavily by Hassan, he's also a very vanilla character - he's good at killing lightly armored enemies (ie, Masters), but heavily armored enemies (ie, Servants) give him fits.

Berserker:

Luca Blight makes everyone else look sane, and he did have a specific point where he broke down mentally - the rape of his mother. Just because he's lucidly insane doesn't mean he's not eligible for Berserker.

The fact he has hideously high stats to begin with just makes him scarier.

Caster: Rouge, from SaGa Frontier. He's already pretty much the ultimate mage.

Saber: Gally/Alita. She has incredibly high stats across the board, as you can see by how she fights, and her preferred weapon is a blade, which just helps her case further.

Rider: Lu Bu. Given how he was considered the mightiest warrior of the Three Kingdoms, able to fend off the three brothers at once, I think we can safely say he'd have adequate mobility (at any rate, more than Medusa, who in the original myth, was a clumsy, slow-moving half snake thing). And the Red Hare/Heaven Scorcher Noble Phantasm combo is badass.

Lancer: Royce from Lunar: SSSC. Given how she always always ALWAYS got the first hit in that battle, I think we can safely say she has atrociously high agility. And she has flavor too, since one of her attacks is named 'Shot Lancer'. Although her real blessing is Flame Bird. Binding an opponent that gets hit = death.

And yet again, it comes back to Luca Blight.

Someone just needs to go ahead and write that. ^_^

Most likely, Luca already HAS Mad Enhancement, if only at D rank or less (since he is still able to think and speak).

But yes, halving all damage while having an incredible hp pool to soak things with?

Rocks Fall, Luca Threw Them.

Heracles demonstrated some limited ability to think rationally when he willingly saved and protected Ilya without prior orders, to be fair. And frankly, when it comes to Jowston, Luca completely goes off the deep end. Being able to think and speak doesn't mean much when all you can do either way is "GARGHBARGLE JOWSTON ***KILL***", which sums up how Luca acts when faced with the hated Jowston scum usually.

I mean, basically he flips out and charges right through your army out of sheer anger during his last army battle - and wrecks it something hardcore. <_<

If anything, I'd say Luca is MORE hardcore than Heracles. Given that he doesn't have the whole divine blood thing going for him, the shit he pulls off is freaking scary.

From what I remember, Lancelot went insane after the death of Elaine, Galahad's mother. After that, he lived as a wild man for a while, until he was found by his cousin, Bors.

EDIT: Yeah, I was right.

"Tricked into a liaison with the Fisher King's daughter (called Elaine in a few later texts), he becomes the father of Galahad, the Grail winner, and, as a result of the queen's jealous anger at his relations with the lady, goes mad (for the third time), and remains an exile from the court for some years."

Wikipedia also has this to say about Lancelot as Berserker: "Though Lancelot suffered greatly, he found that he could not hate Arturia, who had never blamed anything regarding the state of affairs they had become entangled in. In his despair, Lancelot desired to become a beast who had no worries; thus, when he became a Heroic Spirit, he became a Berserker-class spirit."

If Lancelot were the Berserker Illyaseviel got, how would Arturia react to seeing him?

Suppose that all the Servants summoned for the Fifth Holy Grail War were from Arthurian Legend.

Saber - Arturia

Berserker - Lancelot

Caster - Merlin, Nimue, or Morgaine

Not sure about the others.

The thing is, Arturia did meet Lancelot, during the fourth war. For most of the war the other Masters and Servants only suspected who he was, but it was revealed in the last parts that it was in fact Lancelot.

Probably the same way she reacted when they were both summoned in Fate/Zero, which, I believe, was not at all.

NINJA EDIT: Whoops, didn't see Raven's post.

Archer - Robin Hood, a.k.a. Robin of Locksley.
(Not True) Assassin - Gavrilo Princip, a.k.a. The Guy Who Shot Franz Ferdinand
Berserker - Achilles, Son of Peleus, a.k.a. "The guy who defiled the corpse of his slain enemy"
Caster - Imhotep, a.k.a. The Guy Who Built That Pyramid And Was Pretty Much The Smartest Egyptian Ever To Exist
Lancer - Lu Bu, a.k.a. Mr. Un-Nice Guy.
Rider - El Cid, a.k.a. Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar
Saber - Roland a.k.a. Orlando, the man for whom the Servant Class 'Paladin' should be made.

I want to see it. Write it. Pleez.

Nitpick, but IIRC, in the Song of Roland, Orlando's his buddy. Not another name for Roland himself. -_-

I would have to study the characters some more to make them convincing, but after I get around to finishing at least one or two of my other stories, I would like to write something for Fate/stay Night. :huh.:

Though I question the choice of Princip....I don't think Servants with only fame and no real skills in life would be all that useful....sure, they might be powerful due to fame, but would Princip be able to do anything? Sneak up behind other Servants and shoot them in the head, maybe?

Re-nitpick: Orlando is the italian name for Roland. And since the italians, much as it pains me to admit this, contributed to the legend of Roland, their version of his name deserves mention, too.

Really? Who was his best buddy then?

...Guess I need to reread it. :huh.:

Dunno....technically, EMIYA's from the future. Or Archer, or whatever you want to call him.

I would question Princip just because he's not anything special. Just famous. :huh.:

Well, yeah. But EMIYA made a deal with The World in order to become a Heroic Spirit. He didn't do it by being famous as hell, like normal servants. Same goes with Princip, as far as I can see. Time is as much a factor as power and fame, IIRC - older legends are more powerful

If 'from the future' counts... I don't think a century is short enough to keep him out.

Yes, not every servant is a Gilgamesh, but that's the /reason/ Caster gets him as a secondary servant, simply BECAUSE he isn't so uberhax powerful.

And "nothing special, just famous" - what is it to say that one bosnian accountant didn't contract to do something he would otherwise have been unable to do? (plus, "fame" is what makes the eirei just that.)
