Well, it's not like being spotted hurt Sasuke's plan. At least if you ignore the part where Ino saw the Itachi who wasn't turn back into Sasuke.

Two things.

The first is Kakashi. I'm debating on weather to have him be Pro or Anti Naruto.

Right now I'm thinking Anti-Naruto, just so I can mock the Kakashi bashers, but Pro Naruto has its beneifts too, such as allowing me to emphasize Naruto's weird ability to brainwash people.

The second thing is a question about my previous snippet.

I was wondering if the part with Haku came across as intended?

I meant for it to be a logical and sound argument on why it might not be a good idea for Haku, who is usually portrayed as Naruto's devoted follower in these fics, to live with Naruto.

I'm actually hoping to expand the argument a bit, and I was wondering if you guys had any for and against comments?

Why not start Kakashi as anti-Naruto and then make us see the effects of the brainwashing as it happens

It really seems like Sarutobi is trying to force them together the way he answered, I mean besides Hiashi's argument their argument was that Haku was too dependent on someone's aproval for everything to let her live alone with a boy entering puberty, since the most likely outcome was that he would use her for his carnal needs, and his answer was not "I trust Naruto's character" but " they are already dating".

Haku's own history creates a compelling reason to keep Naruto and Haku physically separated by some distance. Even if we presume Lionheart-inspired!Naruto to be a good guy (snicker), the fact is that Haku relying on Naruto too heavily as an emotional crutch could easily pit Haku against Konoha inspite of Naruto's wishes, a la Tempered in Water, HitokiriOTD's fic. Naruto isn't well liked in Konoha at this point and it's Konoha that will be assigning the missions to Naruto that take him away from Haku. If she becomes too emotionally dependent, she could easily come to feel surrounded by the enemy.

The ideal for Konoha is for Haku to develop friendships with Naruto's closest comrades and come to accept the village through them.

About Kakashi, I disagree with Loki. I think whether Kakashi is pro or anti Naruto, you should choose a direction and stick with it.

I actually didn't mean to imply that Sarutobi was trying to force them together, but rather that he was seeing discrimination against Naruto where there wasn't any, and that he's putting Naruto's wants above Haku's needs.

And I've actually sort of remembered what I was originally going to do with Kakashi, which was that he was basically canon Kakashi, but Naruto, being the selfish little git he is, perceives Kakashi as being favouritist.

Sasuke, you're on a mission from God.

You must kill Naruto Uzumaki.

Sometimes, the only to kill a monster... is to send another monster.
This is the basic idea of why it has to be Sasuke.

The other Konoha ninja would be conflicted in a "But its Naruto!" way.

Naruto himself would try and make him see the error of his ways.

Sasuke? Sasuke would spend 5 minutes in the room with the guy before deciding, yes, this motherfucker must die

It's like looking in a mirror that shows blond people.

Shouldn't a broken mirror only show things in black and white?

Sasuke: It's 100 miles to Konoha, I got a full tank of chakra, a sword, it's dark... and I'm wearing sunglasses. Hit it.

You guys realize that, considering I only watched that movie for the first time about 3 weeks ago, I'm now going to have to give Sasuke sunglasses for his disguise, right?

Everything is going as I have foreseen.

The only ninja that I think wear sunglasses are the aburame. And considering that the prevailing theory is that their insects consume their eyes I'm not sure their sunglasses are all that effective.

He's secretly an Aburame. He works for an agency created by Danzo's mother to deliver apple pies to members of Root. It wouldn't have been so successful if Danzo moved out of his mother's basement.
