Some centuries ago, there was a powerful and skilled artificer magus, who had a rather twisted and irritating sense of humour. His humour ran toward pranks, and thus, the many Mystic Codes he created tend to be on one hand useful and powerful, but on the other, embarrassing, humiliating, annoying, or some combination thereof. From this, he gained a nickname among the magi: 'Thinks-He's-Funny' (I was going to have the name in Latin or Greek, but the online translators I've found aren't very trustworthy, for this). The items also tended to be somewhat sapient, and imbued with their creator's sense of humour. Likewise, they seem to have magic circuits of their own, or some other source of prana - another reason that tempts even magi who know their properties, to use them.
The point of this thread is to collect ideas for things he might have created, and discuss story ideas for them, or for prank Mystic Codes in general.
If he were to create a pair of Mystic Eye Killers, for example, they would likely have one or more additional powers, like x-ray vision (in the sense of seeing people naked, not seeing skeletons), or Aura sight, which would kick in whenever it would be 'funny' - some versions may instead occasionally turn the wearer's clothes partially or fully transparent. Alternatively, they may be Peril Sensitive: at the first hint of trouble, they turn totally black, and thus prevent you from seeing anything that might alarm you! Of course, most people with Mystic Eyes would be inclined to take their glasses off when trouble starts, but its still more directly dangerous to the user than most of his inventions. Regardless of secondary effects, they will be exceptionally good Mystic Eye Killers, able to stand up to Tohno Shiki at his worst... until his brain melts, anyway.
Another item he created, possibly his greatest, is the Pranking Spellbook. This book, which changes its appearance and title (and content, to a degree) for each new owner, is capable of analyzing the owner's skills, personality, Origin, Element, and other qualities, in order to select a range of spells that the user will not find to difficult to cast (until the user works out how powerful the book is, and thus knows they're not dependent on only their own prana), and edits the descriptions so that the user would be inclined to cast them - without actually lying.
I do have a story idea for the spellbook. It involves Shirou summoning Servant Harem (not so much 'a harem of Servants', as the Servant whose class is called 'Harem'), which is inspired by the Assassins of the Fourth and Fifth Holy Grail Wars. The book is very helpful in supporting them. That one will probably get its own thread, once I have enough text for it, but it will not be safe for work, partly because Rin is bisexual.
