What if Queen Serenity was... less nice than the canon assumes. Orochimaru-esque in fact. What if she was currently inside the Silver Crystal and every time Usagi uses it, she gets subtly modified towards the Queen's ultimate goal - taking over Usagi's body. You see, there's only been one Serenity ever: she moves on to a daughter once her existing body is too old.
The Inner Senshi back in the Moon Kingdom weren't protecting their princess... they were protecting their queen's next body and the loyalty of the Senshi was tied to Serenity through magic... which is just as strong as ever. However, Endymion never knew this (although Serenity was setting him up as the next stud) and when Usagi and Mamoru find out the truth then it's Sailor Moon and Tuxedo vs. all the other Senshi and the Silver Crystal...

You know, I actually read a story like that a few years ago. It was a SM/Tenchi Muyo/Ranma x-over, where Queenie actually took over Usagi's body and was trying to capture/reclaim all her various potential bodies. I think Yosho/Katsuhito was her Lover/King/Companion in there; he was conducting experiments with her. I think he turned against her though, when she appeared in Usagi's body.

Usagi has benn reading Rei's manga again, and as Rei has matured, so have her tastes. One manga that Usagi reads is a doujin about the Sailor Senshi, who are Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen's harem. It includes a rather hot scene of Moon punishing Mars for 'talking back, and being a bitch'. This could lead to lemons.
How's this:

Sailor Moon versus FANON!
A small group of anime fans appear in the Sailor Moon world! These hapless SIs, however, don't want to stick around and their goal is to leave ASAP!
Why? Because they believe in the Sailor Moon fanon! To them, Usagi is a diabolical brainwasher, Pluto is a psychotic time manipulator/killer, the Outers are trigger-happy man-hating lesbians and so forth...
How do the senshi deal with a bunch of cute guys with super-powers (because of the SI, not that they wanted them in the first place) who treat them as menaces to society and villains in disguise?
So, what do you think?

Kinda reminds me of that idea I had involving a cross over with this pen-and-paper RPG called Godlike.

Personally, I'd like to see a fic where Usagi is the daughter of Raito and Misa (from Death Note) and Misa raises her to follow Kira's ideals.
Or perhaps one where Nathan Explosian's comotose girlfriend turns out to be pregnant and gives birth to Usagi, who is then raised by Deth Klok. ^_^ She'd take over the Dark Kingdom among other things...

Heh, random yet funny mental image. As for the idea in question, it's been awhile since I've watched Sailor Moon (and I'm most familiar with the first two seasons, after that I'm pretty hazy) but Sailor Moon and Endymion (or Tux Mask, who doesn't even have the sword or cool armor) against all the other Senshi...yeah they're fucked. I really don't see that confrontation lasting long. If Usagi could use the Crystal to help back her up, mebbe. But since that'd be totally against the point here, she's just royally screwed.
I had a very odd idea just now. We all know that Sailor Pluto's Space-Time Door is connected to the fourth dimension (time), but what if it was something slightly more... sinister? Like a Paradox Machine, for example.
Y'know, that'd actually make some things make sense, like why there are so many inconsistencies between the present and Crystal Tokyo(After a thousand years of marriage, Serenity and Endymion only have one kid, who is still a pre-teen. While the present-day senshi kicked Black Moon Family ass, the Crystal Tokyo senshi's best plan was to use themselves to power the city's defense shield. The complete absence of the Outers in Crystal Tokyo, etc.) It's all because of the paradox. Crystal Tokyo was never supposed to exist, and that future was only accessible at all because of the "Paradox Gates"
There's only one thing I'd like to see done with the Sailor Soldiers:
Usagi has to have a "Not the Craw! The Craw!" moment.

I'm currently in the dangerous state of motivated, but not inspired right now.
But I've had a couple of ideas, since I feel like mangling the Magical Girl genre for some reason.
1) What if Crystal Tokyo wasn't the utopian city-state people think. No, it's not evil, but it's more like the Old Republic from Star Wars.
Generally speaking, things are pretty good for the masses, however since this empire is so large, the Senshi can't put out every fire and generally only go after the big fish.
If you'll pardon the mixed metaphor.
And what if the most wanted fish in this lake was none other than Cobra?
Cobra's busy recovering his memories of his former life while dodging the fuzz and maybe seducing one or two of his pursuers.
2) What if Setsuna decided that Usagi is a terrible choice of monarch/ruler and feels that it would be better/suitable reward if she was in charge?
Not necessarily Evil!Pluto, just one that feels that she could do a better job.
3) What if there was a new magical girl on the block? One that dressed even more scandalously than the Senshi and whose source of powers was unusual?
Yes, The Domesticator is in town and ready to clean up the filth of the Negaverse.

This one's a "Crystal Tokyo-era" silly-fic idea:
Crystal Tokyo has been founded, and the world is at last on course to peace and prosperity forevermore. However, one last throw of the dice by Chaos shakes the Senshi out of their complacency, when Usagi offends a rather large group of people when she chooses, for the new National Anthem of the Neo-Silver Millenium, "God Save the Queen".

Or somehow either putting in V, a V-like character, or having one of the characters become like V for some reason or another. The end of Crystal Tokyo, mayhaps? Or perhaps back in the Silver Millenium, there was a V...and perhaps he/she was one of the Sailor Scouts...who eventually remembers. Or cross over both...an Exalted/V for Vendetta/Sailor Moon crossover/fusion...the mind boggles. Either it'd be incredibly stupid, or incredibly epic. :sisi:
