Her unarmored body against an enemy that spits flesh-eating spores? last I checked, Slayers were not immune to poison gas.

Ranged firepower is a goodness, never let anyone tell you otherwise. Go into close combat only when you have no choice, or you're a goddamn Astartes with two hearts, ceramite bones, and the grace of the God-Emperor. ^_^
And even that might not be enough.

You just don't fuck with Tyranids. Or anything from 40k in general.

GH could haveben much worse. A norn quen could have survived along with a hive tyrant.

Tyrant vs Scoobies? Tyrant wins easily. Hell Zoanthrops the weakest melee fighters can slaughter the Scoobies. Then again the Zoat is psychic artillery.

If you wanted a 'Can and WILL get worse' scenario, have a single gretchin show up. They are relatively harmless... to Space Marines. But even a gretchin can tear the limbs off a normal, unarmored human with ease. And if you kill him? Oh, sorry Slayer-girl, you just created 40 more of them. Have fun being reviled as the beginning of the planet's doom.

WAAAAAAAGH!!!

Gretchins are cowardly and will hide. The big nasty problem is they release spores. Ork spores more and more ork lifeforms show up till the Scoobies get to deal with an actual Ork.

Gretchins are only cowards towards anything nastier than they are. Which in 40k is everything else, true, but in Buffy? Uhh, no. :p

Oh god, now I want to see a full-on WAAAAAAAAAAGH hit Slayerland, just to see the Slayers give a rousing speech, mount an epic defense, and all get butchered within five minutes of the start of hostilities by a solid wall of green and chainswords.

Slayerland..meaning earth.....HERESY.

We hold them here or we fight them on the hallowed ground of Terra itself. I for one would rather see a million human lives lost here than allow a single Ork to set foot on Earth.

Uhh...IIRC Grots in TT have lower characteristics then normal humans, i.e. Guardsmen.

And yeah. Considering a 'Stealer can beat (barely) a Space Marine Terminator in close combat, not a chance. A Marine Terminator can make anything you name short of Superman into his little bitch, including THE Terminator, and he can't outfight a 'Stealer. What you normally kill 'Stealers with are 1) massed heavy (by today's standards) lasers, 2) rapid-fire rocket propelled grenades, or 3) high explosives that can flatten said Terminators.

Buffy has sharpened sticks and mumbo jumbo.

ITT: 40k fucks shit up.

Now what else can we throw Tyranid's at for some epic awesome/lulz, hmm, maybe DC or Marvel, Wonder Woman vs Dakkafex anyone?

Toss 'em at Marvel. Let's see Professor Xavier vs Tyranid splinter fleet Hivemind :evil2:.

Xavier lost horribly against the Brood hivemind, what makes you think he can even tickle the 'Nids?

I don't. I was busy imagining what the Hivemind would do to him. Another Patriarch design perhaps? Or worse, IIRC Xavier knows a lot about the X-Gene. Tyranids with Marvel style mutations...?
