Uzume and Matsu hiding out in Karakura with all the weirdness that'll happen later on? Not going to end well. If Karasuba shows up, it's not going to nd well for her either.

Hopefully, Ichigo still acquires his powers.
And to think, for our stories and how we've looked at our research, we have Karakura out of MBI's main jurisdiction (that being East Tokyo and generally recognized as 'Tokyo') so there's that as well.

And as for Karasuba showing up? :evil3:
Yep, way out of MBI's main jurisdiction. One thing though, the last chapter ended with someone joiing Ichigo in bed. Was it a foregone conclusion that it would be Uzume, or did you guys purposely leave it blank. In story, it seemed like Ichigo knew who joined him, but it could have been the other two. This may cause some trouble in the morning.

Karasuba shows up? Not really worried, she can't really do anything unless she really wants to lose her life. I'm thinking about Isshin doing something about it, not Miya. Papa Wolf at his finest.

@ BUkkake no Jutsu
As for Ichigo shacking up with the other sekirei, the guy might not have time. So, that part of his life will fall to Kon (who will greatrly enjoy it) as Ichigo will be too busy fighting hollows and rescuing Rukia from Soul Society.

It was Uzume. If it wasn't Ichigo likely would have noticed it immediately, as he's had more than enough times to grow used to and become familiar with her types of shampoo/perfume/soap/etc.

Nanaha is still comatose.

Speaking of Nanaha, its kinda irksome to see the Sekirei wiki still label her as 'Nanami'.

<a href='http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/????_(??)' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/?&#124...28459;?)</a>
Japanese wiki shows ??(???) with "Nanaha" written in hiragana to show how the kanji is pronounced, not to mention hearing Himura call her by name in the anime when they broke for it when MBI caught up with them.

Karasuba shows up? Not really worried, she can't really do anything unless she really wants to lose her life. I'm thinking about Isshin doing something about it, not Miya. Papa Wolf at his finest.
Papa Wolf, yes, but no powers. Miya, on the other hand...

While it maybe out of MBI's jurisdiction, no one really knows about the Sekirei just yet, so you can't really say for sure if MBI won't get underhanded.

Actually, one thing that should have been clearer was that Ichigo was returning from the fight with Yoko-chin's gang and saving Chad (to which he made the promise), so he's still in middle school.

Sooo, ridiculously hot older women get bonded to middle school kid? That should be fun.

So, not much else to ask about. Just wondering hwo underhanded are we talking about? Two sekirei way out of his jurisdiction. Not something he'll take lying down.

And Matsu just complicated Miya's life who found a nice quiet place to disappear to.

Isshin cried over his dead wife for years and he married another women four months after meeting her. He's more insane than before.

The Ichigo in my head would've answered Miya's question like this:

"You're failure staring me in the face. I messed up and my mother sacrificed herself for me. If I hadn't killed her, then dad wouldn't have to remarry. If my heart could accept that my mom is gone then I wouldn't intrude on this new happiness everybody else has."

"I failed my mom and she died, I'm failing my dad because I can't accept his new happiness, but you being here is punishment I never received for killing my mom, and none of it is your fault so no Miya there isn't anything you can do to help me. I'll be in my room, call me when dinner's ready."

The Ichigo in your head is an out of character drama queen that has had way too much time to think of a snappy response to Miya.

Besides, if Ichigo hasn't said anything yet, he's unlikely to say anything at all. He'll never see Miya as his mother. MIya may have a good rapport with the twins but I don't see that warm fuzzy feeling ever happening between herself and Ichigo, even though Miya will keep on trying as best as she can.

I had two omake ideas for Veiled Moon.

1) A certain black cat show's up early in the story line and makes the decision that this new girl <s>makes an excellent new play toy</s> will be good for Ichigo.

A future for him here in the land of living without ties to the Shinigami. Not to mention such an interesting setup, a intriguing little mystery to help pass the time.

Ichigo is pretty sure he doesn't want Yoruichi's help. In fact he insists on it.

Miya and the others get drawn in by this perfectly behaved cat whose only quirk is to use Ichigo as a mobile furniture.

2) After Ichigco finally moves in, a number of his ""friends"" show up to celebrate his moving out <s>frankly just to party</s>.

Kenpachi, Yachuri, Ikkaku, & Yumichika crash the Inn and proceed to promptly entertain with their antics.

Then Kenpachi challenges Miya to the whole one free cut move.

I actually wouldn't mind a version where Isshin courted Miya after Ichigo got his powers. They could both bond at first over missing their respective spouses and go from a friendship based on similar grief to something more. Granted, I;d like to see it set sometime in the first two arcs to give Ichigo his powers, but I'd still like to see it.

Oh who am I kidding, I just want to see Ichigo somehow fighting Karasuba using either his Bankai or his Vizard abilities.

So you want to see Ichigo stomp Karasuba so hard into the ground that even oblique reference to that day has every Sekirei wince in sympathy?

Because that's kind of the power disparity between the two.

But the drama I love it so!

The soul searching part of bleach is one of the best things in my opinion so maybe if I chopped it to something like.

"You remind me I killed my mother."

I want something dramatic!

Is this short and striking enough?

I wonder.

Vizard abilities against Karasuba is overkill. Bankai would be more than enough. Some shinigami shikai abilities is morw than enough. Exhibit A: Yumichika. Exhibit B: Soi Fon. Exhibit C: Kira (especially Kira who happens to hate unneccessary battles).

d. Any shikai that has a trick, and isn't just a a nuke a la Zangetsu.

And any Bankai would also be overkill, just as much as going Vaizard would be.

Sekirei operates on a completely different scale from Bleach. What was so impressive that Miya and Karasuba did, mass destroying armies, is something that anyone with a name in Bleach can do. And that was like super impressive of them, whereas in Bleach mass destroying hollows, for even the mid-high tier of characters, is a walk in the park.

Ichigo's first arc Shikai is just him with Zangetsu which would put him well below Karasuba until at least his fight with Kenpachi. I'll grant you his Vizard abilities are sick in comparison and might make things a curbstomp but his early use of Bankai was mostly an increase in speed and a single ranged attack that would put him somewhere around being on par with her.

Although there is another factor to consider. Karasuba loves violence and hates humans. Ichigo with his advanced abilities would be her superior in combat and would be something at least partially non-human. Imagine a world where Miya is trying to keep Karasuba from pursuing Ichigo in her twisted idea of a romantic sense. :ph43r:

That would be amusing.
Karasuba would be able to tauntingly call Miya "mom".

Fullbring abilities would be cool to see. They wouldn't overpower Ichigo too much.

The line I want to see Ichigo pull on Karasuba is

:"What special attack? That was just a swing of my sword."

Karasuba wants to destroy the world, Ichigo does not. Karasuba enjoys wanton slaughter, while Ichigo does not. He does discover his instinct later on, and would have no problem killing Karasuba if she threatens his family. Granted, he needs his shinnigami abilities for that, but since Ichigo is still in middle school; that won't be for a while yet.

It's up to Miya to protect her new family. Proactively this time.

Which would be why I would write an omake or two myself if everyone is ok with it where things don't pick up until around the SS arc. Things with Karasuba could be a kind of creeping interest.

First she takes note of Miya's new surrogate family that she left the Discipline Squad for.

Then she takes note of the oldest boy that clearly does NOT accept Miya the way the others do. She can see something in him. Something that peaks her interest in as much as a human can.

She watches Ichigo from time to time, noting things like his fistfights against the local gangs, the fact he does not embrace Miya's interest in the blade the way his sisters did, and his general disinterest in getting close to people during her time teamed with Yume (much to Yume's trepidation. Given how Yume seems focused on love she might see the good in Ichigo and worry Karasuba would destroy it if she ever got to him.)

Then you have the Soul Society arc and Ichigo becomes more interesting than a passing hobby and a way to keep tabs on a possible weakness of Miya's. Suddenly he moves like a warrior and seems to have hidden skills that he didn't before. He's become more than a way to see Miya's discomfort from afar.

Finally, you have the Vizard arc and his predatory nature starts to show itself. That's when Karasuba goes from taking notice to possibly taking... action. Perhaps Natsuo isn't her best match among the humans after all? If she manages to learn enough to discover the truth about the Shinigami and SS she would certainly be interested in the concept of becoming something more than human after death.

By that point, Kon should be around and Karasuba is sure to notice the behavioral difference between ichigo and the mod soul. That would be confusing at first. By the vizard arc, Isshin has recovered his powers and is another deterrent to Karasuba.

How Karasuba goes about discovereing facts about the shinagmi is up in the air. There's no one she can really threaten to do so. Unless someone else from the Bleach side notices her and starts talking.

Go for writing Dhampyr.

Idea, inspired by the latest chapter: after Ichigo gets married to Uzume, Isshin is overjoyed, and once he gets some privacy, he uses Kido to call his father and tells him the news. And then Yamamoto shows up, to congratulate his grandson on his wedding, and meet his new granddaughter-in-law. Hilarity ensues.

Bonus points if he mentions that he had thought Ichigo had already married Rukia, since the traditional marriage ceremony in Japan is for a couple to share a bedroom for three nights and then drink some ceremonial sake together, and Rukia did spend all the time before the rescue arc camped out in Ichigo's closet.
