Wow, I haven't played or even heard of Ecco the Dolphin in years.
My main reason for thinking of it is that I finally got a replacement for my Genesis/CD/32X with a CDX I found on sale. I'm just glad I had a SegaCD Memory Cartrige so I could finish some of my older games that I'd been playing

- Vs Shinruu. I never actually beat the bastard, I just remember opening the chest and BAM! KERSPLASH! Party dead. o_O Tried again sometime later with coral rings on and lasted somewhat longer, but still died.
Berserk him. He's susceptible to it, and doing so forces him to attack only one party member at a time, allowing you to heal with one and attack him with the other two.

Tales of Phantasia (DeJap translation)
- Any scene with Arche in it, pretty much.
The bit with her mom was rather touching.

And of course, the liberties DeJap took with their translation. "Like a tiger", "biggest I've ever seen", etc.

Legend of the Mystical Ninja
-Any scene involving that ridiculous Impact mech.
Da-da-DASH!! :snigger:

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
-The bathtub scene. Gods I hate that scream noise.
Hell, put me down for that whole game. No other game has fucked with my head as much as ED.

Metroid: Fusion
-Vs SA-X.
I've played that game so much by now that I've memorized at least 80% of the pickups.
Still haven't gotten 100% in less than 2 hours, though.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
-Soma Vs Julius. It was just a cool fight, very different from the standard giant bosses you face in these games, with a character that could fly around like you and use some similar attacks.
Much agreed.

LoZ: Twilight Princess
-Vs Stallord. That spinner thing is awesome fun. It's a shame it's gotten so late in the game and hardly used at all outside that dungeon.
True. I always wondered why the Spinner couldn't have been made into a jet-board or something, or at least made useful for more than, what, 3 points in the game?
At least the Stallord fight was cool.
Also, the dragon boss rocked.

In LUNAR: The Silver Star, the final fights with Ghaleon was pretty cool, as was the animations and harsh breathing. One of the most twisted and memorable boss fights I can remember.
I was upset simply because I had to fight this battle twice, since the first time I killed him, I died going up the steps...I had read that you need to play the ocarina to reduce damage from the blasts coming at you, but I didn't think that was really the case...learned my lesson on that one.

Yep, even if you have a full load of Herb of Althernas and other such things with maxed out characters you will die on that last step.
