Recently, Wowhead updated to show what quests go towards each Zone achievement.

This has gotten me to return to WoW from a break, because my biggest beef with Outlands (which I was running through for kicks) was that I didn't know what quest was worth my time and... well, to be honest, I wasn't sure what quests could possibly be left in certain areas that weren't PVP based.

Plus since this character was one of my characters who shot through the Outlands material, I'd kinda forgotten she'd missed quite a bit  though in my defense, I've done the same path through Outlands seven times now, so it's very difficult hard to keep these toons straight (because they're all lesbians
OW!
).

Now that I can actually find out what quests are now worth it, I've grinded through FOUR Zone Achievements: "Terror of Terokkar", "Mysteries of Zangarmarsh", "Nagrand Slam" and "Shadow of the Betrayer".

The only ones left are "On Blade's Edge" and "Into The Nether", which I'm plowing through with ease.

After that, my achievement whore Death Knight is going to be grinding up and getting herself a nice Netherdrake (and seeing how much of a grind THAT is, she's the only one who's getting one unless I need to lose another month or so to WoW. <_< )

After that, my project will be getting the normal dungeon achievements.

Soooo, what are you guys up to in WoW?

I'm doing PvPing in Arenas, 2v2 and soon to be 3v3. Blood DK + Sub Rogue is an AWESOME combination, since I'm skilled enough to survive for at least 2 minutes unaided.

I've been playing again some recently, starting a new toon on a server a friend started on.

Only a couple zones left for loremaster (Netherstorm, Blades Edge, Shadowmoon, Storm Peaks, & Grizzly Hills). However, I'm doing every quest I can rather than moving on after achievements including dungeons.

On another note, Blizzard needs to put some more cooking recipes in or reinsert several of the old ones they took out. Most players can only get 197 recipes now if they missed any of the others and aren't a rogue while there's the achievement for getting 200...

I've been slowly working on getting Loremaster on my main, only have Netherstorm left to do towards that, and then I'm gonna work on the Outland rep factions. While doing that, I've been leveling up a little Holy Paladin through the Dungeon Finder, and been enjoying the challenge of healing.

Netherwing isn't such a grind, and I've done it twice now. Takes two weeks if you aren't actively searching for eggs. It also seems that Blizzard has upped the number of egg spawns in the mines. It used to be 2, but looks to have been upped to 5. The ones outside the mine and at the fortress looks unchanged at 2 each. I think I got 13 once by getting all the eggs and getting lucky on drops.

Currently working on my Worgen druid, which has currently replaced my main (a NE druid :snigger: ). I got a bit bored with casting so I'm playing feral for now. While I'm geared for starting heroics, it hasn't interested me to go for it, so I'm just grindind TB badges and Argent Tourney. I'm almost done with TB, so I'm going to try Shatari Skyguard after that. I'm also doing some Anzu runs.

Already cleared the Outlands Loremaster achievement, and I'm working up on my Netherdrake.

Man, this is a LOT easier now. I mean, seriously. I'm not sure if I was on another character or what, but I've gone from almost Friendly to almost Honored in just a few hours (I spent some time messing around in the mines, hoping for more Netherdrake eggs)! I'm ~1600 rep away from getting Honored!

It saddens me that I can't do multiple turn-ins for Nethercite, as I've gathered an extreme excess.

On the bright side, they've upped drop rates on the Fel Glands if you hunt the NetherSkate Rays just on the other side of the ravine from the Dragonmaw base. The comments on Wowhead said the drop rate was roughly 33%, I was getting 100%.

*sigh*

I wish I hadn't quit WoW for the entirety of TBC. The maps, quests, and raids were epic and the villains were my favorite in the WoW universe: Illidan, Kael'thas, and Vashj.

Especially in MT where Kael'thas lost his damn mind and started screaming about the world would burn. Nothing has topped that moment to date for me.

Burning Crusade was boring, compared to Vanilla. Lich King made it an easier game, but then Cataclysm came and reintroduced the original difficulties of the game. CCing, threat management, nasty AoEs, etc.

I almost forgot! I'm also collecting Khorium to make the Engineer's Epic Mount. I've got most of the darn thing, I just need enough Khorium for 5 more Khorium Power Core. I have a bar and a single piece of ore, so that's 27 more pieces of ore. >.<

I'm currently trying to grind Loremaster (Outland is a fucking pain) while getting enough gold for my DMC: Volcano. I had around 28k when the AH had an outbreak of card sales and I got mine for around 12k.

Indeed. Half the quests I discovered in most zones was only AFTER I'd done some rep grinding to honored (though in most cases, the quests I managed to find got me pretty close so there wasn't much grinding needed). I'd strongly suggest you do the same.

Oh, if you hit Shadowmoon Valley and rep grind to neutral with the Netherwing, some quests in Netherstorm are MUCH easier since they won't bug you. You just have to remember to click "at war" with if you need to kill any Netherdrakes for missions in Blade's Edge or Netherstorm. (best of all, killing any netherdrakes in those areas doesn't affect your rep!)

I'd also check Wowhead's Character Achievement section, where you can find areas and the quests that actually apply towards the Loremaster Achieves.

There are a lot more quests in each zone than you think, though I've found a number to be a bit buggy, either the mob didn't spawn, I didn't get the quest item that you need to use, or I couldn't interact at ALL with the targets, but when I dropped them and re-tried, they worked perfectly...

Really haven't been doing too much on WoW recently. My 85 Human Rogue just does a couple daily quests and runs a random heroic about once or twice a week anymore. Have tried to go for the Loremaster achievements on him now.

Started up a couple Horde characters and will try to level them up. That's more so I actually know more about certain zones and how they changed, as much as it's to have actual Horde characters.

Just finished Loremaster Kalimdor. Only Eastern Kingdoms and the Cataclysm stuff remain (and Vashj'ir is already finished)

Might try Archaelogy.... once I'm done with everything else.

I got Cataclysm Loremaster just by questing normally, so it's not much of an issue. Alliance-side Eastern Kingdoms is fairly easy, too.

And Archaeology makes me want to cry. I think I'll just get the VP ring and wait for 4.1 to get a staff upgrade.

Archeology is fine if you're farming shit for your other toons.

I'm not gonna try it, but someone apparently did.

Got Exalted with the Netherwing (took a lot longer because I was on vacation and forgot my authenticator at home), and now I've got seven different Netherdrakes, the six you can choose from an albino netherdrake (which I'm not that fond of, so I won't be using it).

Also finished Swamp of Sorrows and I'm going to start working on Stranglethorn Vale next.

I'm pretty sure that the albino one is a normal drake and not a netherdrake. It's the one you get for getting 50 mounts?

I think so. I got the achievement for 50 mounts when I bought all 6 of the Netherdrakes.

Actually haven't touched my account in a month or so, really need to get off my butt and start playing, my mage and little warlock are still sitting around at only levl 8 or so I think. looooong road ahead of me, my own fault for being a casual player. :huh.:

eh, don't worry about it. I've got a number of alts I haven't touched in at least half a year, if not much more.

To me, casual just means you're setting your own pace and that's cool. It's not like you've got a bunch of hardcore players breathing down your neck if you don't get to 85 in two weeks or something. :p

Fishing is almost at 525. Give it two more weeks.

Doing more quests in Outland, just because they give great gold and for the achieves. Farming ore for my priest's jewelcrafting, and boes for his enchanting.

Priest is at 55, Disc is an amazing healing spec.

Finished all the non-starter zone quests for Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. I even stopped to pick up the singing flower pet in Hillsbrad. (not sure why, but I ended up needing to quit and re-do the last two quests once each)

Gonna clear out my quest log book a little bit and start up on the higher-level Cataclysm content (while going back and finishing up the Argent Tournament stuff)

Good gravy, Deepholm and Mount Hyjal.... both take about as long as Vashj'ir, though I have to say...

Hyjal's one-upping Deepholm in six ways:
1) Non-rock enemies.
2) You get to help out a vast variety of dieties and/or ancients.
3) The effects of your victory are easily seen.
4) THEY REMADE MOTHERFUCKING JOUST! :D

HOLY SHIT MOTHERFUCKING JOUST!

Sure it was awkward at first, but I was actually kinda sad once I got the hang of the drifting and such, because I was done in five minutes.

5) There's no hideously fat ugly trailertrash bitch who's pretending she's a princess and/or walking while she's levitating, and constantly telling you to "get off'a 'er laaaaawn!"
6) You get to fuck with one of the Twilight Hammer's graduating parties. It was amusing for me, but DEFINITELY go to Wowhead and read some of the comments for the "Graduation" quest, they tell you how to read the crowd.
