Hmmm... Not sure if it is a joke or not (can't tell with this guy...)

Elon Musk’s Boring Company unveils a flamethrower for preorder at $500. They even also offer a fire extinguisher, with a sticker on it.

He says it will be good for the zombie apocalypse.

My parents have a new dog, he's called Dylan. He's nine years old. His previous owner passed away last year, and so, he spent 12 weeks in a shelter.

He seems to like me, and it's always nice to be liked by a dog.

Supposedly (Urban Legend) your tastes change on planes. Salty and Sweet are suppressed, sour & bitter are stable, and umami is enhanced. Simply put that makes ginger ale & bloody marry's taste better in the air.

Believe it? Don't believe it? Next time on a plane try it out.

I for one find comfort in Ginger Ale on planes and will continue to do so.

That's all for now, intrepid travelers.

Not only are your tastes changed when flying commercially (pressurised cabins have something to do with this), but water boils at a lower temperature on a plane. Which means your tea won't taste right. Coffee requires a lower temperature to get the most out of the grounds than tea does for the leaves.

The best options for staying hydrated when flying are tonic water (skip the gin, you'll get even more dehydrated) and ginger ale. At least, that has been my experience.

This is why it's almost completely worthless to get a high quality meal on a plane, as it will not taste right. If you are on a flight that requires a meal (i.e. overseas, etc.), don't spend any more (or extra) than you have to for said meal.

That's not an urban legend. It's actually been studied and proven true.

Astronauts have the same problem, food tastes different up there.

On an unrelated subject, given the general failure of US leadership to do a damn thing about it, i'm shopping around for armor for my school aged child.

Thinking a Kevlar insert for his backpack may be the best option, as I can still get whatever designer/pop culture kiddy backpack he wants, and up armor it, and reuse said armor as he wears out the pack.
