Hmmm, they may be too young to count fairly compared to the others, but I'd have to say the Romanian twins from Black Lagoon. Most of the time, I can never tell which is the boy and which is the girl since they like to trade clothes and who wears the wig for long hair.

Talking about a voice not being perfect to a deaf guy won't get you very far... that is also the reason why I consider Bridget to be a bigger trap than Jun. Since all I have to judge on is looks and mannerism, Bridget is totally a trap as far as I'm concerned. Sure, jun has the loli look. Bridget, OTOH, dresses like a nun, has a horrifyingly girly face, totes around a teddybear and yo-yo in a game where monster freaks kill each other with suitably nasty weapons, and goddamn dances by swaying his hips while fighting.

And said hips are way too womanly to boot. No man should have hips like Bridget's.

And be thankful this thread is anime only. I used GG because it HAS an anime, but if I had been able to use videogames, I'd have destroyed Jun with the entire frigging male cast from magna Carta, except for Haren, who's the only one who remotely looks male among the so-called men.

Exhibit A:

This is a guy. No, seriously. Azel is male. Even though he has a visible bust line, childrearing hips, lipstick and hooker platform shoes.

Exhibit B:

The main character, calintz. Another male, another outrageous trap.

Magna Carta is all like this. The only real way to tell if a character is male is to check for tits. If they aren't wah-BOOM in the chest area, they are male. Even twelve-year-old girls are about the same size as Tifa in that game...

Guh, I feel like shit now, sorry D:

That is pretty girly yes. I'd probably fall for it. It gets a 98 to Jun's 99. The one thing that makes me think he/she is off is her face. Jun simply looks 100% girl until someone tells you he's a guy. Even down to his/her underwear It would be near impossible. Jun hardly has the loli look either, he's like sixteen-seventeen. somewhere there.

Jun rates higher because he actually turns into a girl in the OVA.

To be fair, you can't tell Azel is a guy either untiln he's addressed as one in the game. EVERY SINGLE PERSON I spoke to on various messageboards swore they thought he was a girl when he first appeared - I'm told that his voice is also incredibly high-pitched, which doesn't help, but as I can't verify that, I'll refrain from commenting.

And nobody in Magnacarta wears underwear. Their clothes are all too goddamn tight fitting, and they either wear something vaguely decent (as in, 'I'm not completely naked even if I might as well be), or they wear paint (Eonis comes to mind - you can't call that red dress of hers 'clothes', it even shows her nipples!). :snigger:

Bridget's traphood was thrown off a bit for me, simply because while most of his game art is fitting as a trap, one of them was just horribly bad, and thus kind of lessened effect. I think that it was the character art for story mode in GGX2, but I can't say for certain.

And Magna Carta is filled with girly men, though to be fair, while it doesn't matter to you much GH, at the least, Calintz's voice is far to deep for a trap. Again, doesn't matter to you much GH, but for others, anything past game art is pretty easy to differentiate for him. Can't recall Azel's voice though, since it has been a while since I played Magna Carta, and never could bring myself to get too far into the game.

Azel's voice is a bit high pitched, but still masculine. Its by voice alone that I was able to tell Azel's gender. Confused me greatly, it did, when I got to the point where he speaks with an actual voice. <_< Male, but looks far too much like a female.

It's Chiharu from They are my Noble Masters. His first appearance works as a trap to a degree, but after that, you never really think of him as a girl anymore.

How about Mizuho Miyanokouji from Otome Wa Boku Ni Koishiteru?

Jun Watarase just got out-trapped. :snigger:

Bad Link.

Mizuho did convince an entire school of girls that he was the peak of femininity, turning one into a lesbian in the process.

'Course Jun convinced an entire school that knew he was boy to treat him like a girl. The fanclub, changing with girls, and so on. Oh and seduced a man that was otherwise heterosexual and basically had a harem's choice of girls to sleep with. (If you choose the Jun path in the game anyway. Look at the Happiness Re Luck CG collection if don't believe me.)

Also @both BC and Mizuho, fake breasts are fake.

You forgot that Mizuho also volunteered to stay at said school, and was openly welcomed back, AFTER being exposed. And there's mention of a male stalker who's still after him even after his gender was exposed.

Given how he had no sex change whatsoever, the fact he is so bloody convincing as a girl trumps Jun. He's just that damn good at being a trap.

Also, Jun was actually TURNED in a woman briefly, so he cheats.

Finally, BC's breasts are real. No breast implants, it's all genetic tampering, IIRC - hormones and all. He even complains they hurt at one point. Even by vandread standards, he's a freak.

In Happiness! Relucks, Jun isn't always turned into a girl; there's the option of getting Jun as a boy. It's somewhat disturbing to watch a guy nailing what would be a cute girl except for the tent on the skirt, or seeing Jun get shagged doggie-style, censored dick and all(and he/she/it still looks like a girl...).

Where did I say that I thought Mizuho was inferior to Jun as a trap(1)? I'm just stating Jun's effects were more far reaching than Mizuho's (within the anime/manga, that is). I did however forget about the ending, I hadn't been to happy with it and shoved it to the back of my mind.

Jun's a bit lackluster in comparison if you don't include the game. :blue:

genetic tampering
The opposite of being there originally, fake.

(1):Except on the breast issue. Jun looks nearly as feminine as Mizuho without breasts. EDIT: Looks back at first ep of Otome <shortened>, my bad, male Mizuho might look more like a women than the crossdressing one. :sweat2:

Problem is we don't know WHEN BC got them breasts. All we know is he was genetically altered to look like a woman, but these things aren't easy to do when you are fully grown. It's very possible (since all males are raised in vats) that he was made this way from birth, in which case he's 100% genuine.

And it'd explain why he's so antisocial in general. Imagine how he grew up looking like a woman on an all MALE planet...

Or as a man hiding as a woman on a female planet. Do we even know how BC got into his position with the pirates?

The 'women' on the propaganda videos didn't look human much less something that would associate breasts with women. I don't really see them thinking he would be a women if he had them (boobs) on Taraak, maybe. Military higher ups excluded.

"What's that funny growth on your chest? You should really get that checked soon, it might be caused by some new weapon of the women."

Um... are you sure? I don't remember anything like this being mentioned in the show. Is there some supplemental fan book that I am not aware of? I always assumed it was some kind of surgical procedure, not unlike a sex change operation. And of course, it's never made explicitly clear what piece of equipment he has.

Also, I don't remember him saying that his breasts actually hurt. Then again, it could of been something slipped into one of the early episodes when no one was paying attention, and I don't really feel like going through all of my DVDs find it.

Been a while since I watched VanDread so I wasn't sure, but I just rewatched ep 11 of the second season (about 15min into the episode) BC talks in a male voice.

The choker with the green gem he wears during his time with the females is a voice changer.

Since genetic/hormon therapy would have changed the voice too, it seems that his breasts are just some very advanced implants
