Ramiel? Who's that? But seriously the Ramiel battle from 1.01 has nothing on the Zeruel battle.
The zeruel battle itself is...different then people probably expected. But incredible awesome if you ask me. If you want to watch it there is a camrip of the last 26 minutes of the movie which cover the entire battle. A link to it should be on page 3 of this very thread :D .
Should you watch it, remember to continue watch thru the credits and watch what happens after them^^

I'm trying to wait until a full camrip comes out so I don't spoil anything, but it's so tempting. -_-

good luck with that. I couldnt stop myself -.- The problem is with rebuild 1.01 it took apparantly months for a full rip.
But I have hope
Rebuild 2.0 will be shown at the animotion filmfestival in Bonn, Germany over the timespan of 3 days.(31.07-02.08 if i remember right)
In original japanese dub with english subs.

I unfortunatly couldn't attend it myself so I really hope that at least one viewer has a cam with him.^^

excuse me but am I the only one amused here?
In my last post i wish him good luck to hold out and I even tell him that there is a chance that there might be a complete camrip( with subs to boot) after this month and he goes on to watch it now!? lol

I can direct you to some summaries if you want? Thpugh even the wikipedia one sould answer some of your questions.

Plugging the world "Evangelion" into any of my three main general torrent archives (i.e. not anime-specific) gets me at least a couple of well-seeded torrents for the 710 MB cam-rip of Rebuild 2.0, as well as a decent subtitle track (in its own torrent originally, but some of the newer ones combine them). Since these places all host stuff that would get me banned for linking to them, you'll have to track them down on your own, but really, they're easy as heck to find.

Just watched it after managing to find somewhat non engrish subs. I think I stopped breathing about an hour into it.

Asuka, why!? Asuka :( , I don't think they could have fit enough tragic/BAD END overtones in, lol. She's an immensely more likable character, and Shinji, wow. Did a TTGL writer get transferred or something. Though what resounded most in my mind was "Like father, like son." The cynical side of me says it's awesomely human.
