well at the end of the first movie isn't Kawru standing in the ruins of Tokyo 3 from when Third Impact happened? That what it looked like to me. So if the third movie is going to be about third impact i figure the fourth is going to connect the old to the new.
that is if there's going to be a fourth one.

Personally... the one thing I liked was they made Misato meaner in the movies... I always felt she was too nice for how she acted and what she did.

Makes it easier to despise her.

Misato in the series is shown as both respectful and not toward Shinji. The 'not' bit tends to be overlooked in fan fiction and is often shown as being 100% behind him and the supportive island in a crap world for Shinji.

However... she was quite inconsiderate of him at several points in the series, quite manipulative IMHO.

She is a far nastier person in the 1.0 movie. Far more upfront on her stance. Bringing out and I think emphasizing the very qualities in anime that get looked over. Here... I found it nearly impossible not to see those traits. Shinji truly has no friends or allies among the adults in 1.0 that I could see.

And that makes more sense.

Confusing as hell, but interesting.

Here's hoping it won't take them ANOTHER 2 years to push this one out - and isn't 4.0 supposed to air alongside 3.0? We might actually see *gasp* an ENDING... and in our lifetime!!!!!

the more I hear about it, the more I fear its just going to be "Alternative ending" no.3, making no more and no less sense than the other two.

Q Trailer is removed already, watched 26 minutes of the ending of 2nd movie:

- Zeruel owning Eva 02 and 00, and eating up 00 ?!
- Mari being quite interesting, limiters off mode is nice
- Shinji being epic, omglol 01 shooting eye beams
- 3rd impact initiating lol


- ending credits


- Kaworu stopping the initiation and saying something

- Asuka with an eyepatch is sexy



Can't wait for more camrips of this insanity ^^.

As I've only seen last 26 or so minutes (that is all I found, here is the link to it http://www.mediafire.com/?mg3vqtnzzdd), this is only the Zeruel atack (in old NGE where Asuka looses head and arms on her unit), so no MisatoxShinji moments, except where she yells to him something about not doing it for anyone but himself, we are missing some 90-120 minutes from the start of 2nd movie to this 26 minutes :D.

For those interested, the OST is in Tokyotosho.

Kyo no Hi wa Sayonara can be pretty heart wrenching when you take in consideration when it is used in the movie. :blue:

If the summary is correct, that song is played when the dummy plug system is activated during the fight with Bardiel.

... since I'm a fan of Asuka, my tears will be those of a little girl.

I don't know, but it's bugging the shit out of me. I don't remember it taking this long to get 1.0.

Edit: Anyone know how the Zeruel battle shapes up compared to the original? Will I be able to look forward to a Ramiel-esque badass bar raise?
