umm, how do you actually send messages in the chat function, I can't figure it out...

For those that don't know how to chat, all you have to do is type your message in the text box and press enter. There's no button that you have to press.

Be sure to change your name though; people are easier to keep track of that way.

Also, I'll be on for a while. Probably a few hours.

Something's wrong with Gabbly for me. It won't load completely. The little box is there, but it just says on "loading" with the little spinning icons in the user and text boxes. It's quite irking. What do I do to fix it?

I'd say refresh, but I'm guessing you already tried that.

Hrn...

What browser and kind of connection are you using?

Firefox 2.0 on a wireless connection. This is the same connection I was using yesterday, and it worked fine.

This happened once before, and I just left it alone for a few days, and found that one day it had fixed itself somehow. I still don't know why, but this is quite frustrating.

Sitting on for a while (don't I always?) In case anybody feels like talking. ^^

I tried it a few minutes ago and didn't like it too much.

yes, because that one minute that you were on gives a great deal about what it is like, I am sure...

It's not the greatest thing in the world, and it is typically either idiotic talk or challenge games, but you were only ther for about a minute...can you really judge?

Eh, Sig. I don't like it either (didn't from the second I used it), you know. I'll use it, but it's not really all that great.

You'll note that NDF said the same, "I don't like it", not that it was shitty (which, I personally think it is, actually, but whatever). That's his opinion, so yes, he can judge.

Eh, I don't think it is all that great either, but I'm just saying it is hard to judge after one minute. I know it is his choice, and honestly, I dont really care either way, but interpret things however you want.

I didn't like it because it moves too fast; I prefer posts to stay still so that I can read a thread at my own pace even if it's active. You can't do that with a chat; it'll be gone too quick unless someone saves it for whatever reason.

fair enough, though it sounds like you are implying stuff will dissapear overtime, but it stays viewable for as far back as you got on.

Besides, there are logs available on the gabbly chat thread in the lemon section's 'dirty talk'.

I am sitting on, if anybody wants to join. It's boring in here alone! :p
