I think you could make the argument that Joker represents an agent of Chaos whereas Light is an Agent of Order. Both kill in service of their ideals, with the Joker it's to show how pointless this society is in an effort to tear it down, whereas Light seeks to impose his version of order and Justice upon society at large.

Yeah, on the alignment scale Light is Lawful Evil, where the Joker is about as pure Chaotic Evil as you can get.

Yes, that's a Vegeta/Trunks fusion.

This is marketing for a card battle Japanese arcade and 3DS game, not the DBS anime.

It could happen in the show, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

But that's not how it went. It's almost as if those who made this only gave the series a cursory glance.

You do understand that this is humor by way of satire and that it is intentionally ignoring what you're talking about, right?

The entire point of the comic is to ignore the nuance and use a broad shallow perspective of some of the show's events out of context from the rest of it to carry the gag.

The joke is that a normal, well-adjusted boy would probably love to have Shinji's life (well, at least up until the shit really starts hitting the fan around episode 16 or so.) Dude regularly saves the world and is surrounded by cute chicks, it's the same setup that would be the beginning of a power fantasy in any other anime.

Of course it's not true since Gendo intentionally manipulated Shinji's life so he'd grow up with low self-esteem, no real emotional attachments to other people and no idea how to interact with other people socially, so that he'd be easy to control. But to anyone else his life would superficially seem pretty damn awesome.

It's also worth pointing out that Shinji was set up to fail by his father. He was never intended to win.
