I say a necro isn't a necro in a story thread if the post is another part of the story...even if the last post was several months ago, Similarly in idea threads. If someone posts a well though out snippet, I don't think it counts as a necro.

The post has to have sufficient relevant content to make it not a necro. And the part you posted has this content in spades.

I shudder to say this, but if that's how long it takes for your muse to kick back into gear... I would prefer something more timely, though, on at least a few of your stories.

Seriously, I only wrote more of this because Sunhawk found me in the IRC channel the other day and asked me if I was going to write more of it.
